Description
The invention relates to a profile system consisting of at least one profile element and at least one sealing element for a sanitary system, such as a floor-level shower.
In general, profile systems for sanitary facilities are known in different designs and can be configured for different tasks. For example, profile systems for use as a shower channel arrangement are known. Furthermore, profile systems for the clamped storage of panes, such as a shower wall, are known in the field of wet cells. In addition, profiles for receiving Wandverblendungspaneelen or decorative profiles, such as a slope wedge for plumbing installations are known.
It is also known to bring profile systems for sanitary facilities in an installed position such that a required tightness is given to water.

It is thus known to seal profile systems by attaching a profile, such as a gutter, to a sealing strip or the like in the course of assembly. However, the known measures for the sealing of profile systems are cumbersome and inflexible to handle, since, inter alia, several steps are required, namely the attachment of a sealing material at the installation site and the mounting of the profile. Furthermore, the known systems require complex structural designs in order to secure the profile reliably. Finally, adaptation of the profile to the surrounding wall and / or floor coverings in sanitary facilities is difficult or even impossible.
Against this background, it is an object of the invention to provide a profile system which at least partially overcomes the above disadvantages.
This object is solved by the subject matter of
The profile element may be made of any material that is suitable to form a particular profile shape. The sealing element may also consist of a soft plastic. The sealing element can be made of any material which has a water impermeability and thus to the seal suitable is. The sealing element can be made of any material which acts sealingly and at the same time has a tensile strength sufficient to safely support the weight of a profile element. The sealing element may comprise a plurality of sealing film pieces. The sealing element may have a non-woven coating for better adhesion of other sealants or adhesives. The sealant may be a polyethylene film having a polypropylene nonwoven thereon.
The sealing element of the profile system according to the invention is not only suitable for sealing between the profile element and an adjacent wall and / or floor area. The sealing element can also be designed to seal any points below, beside and / or above a profile element.

The sealing element of the profile system according to the invention further has a fastening region which is fastened in a non-installed state on the profile element by a fastening means. The fastening region corresponds to a partial surface of the sealing element, which is connected to a surface of the at least one profile element. In some embodiments, the attachment area is flatly connected to the profile element, i. the partial surface is substantially completely attached to the profile element. The attachment area may be a contiguous area, but may also include a plurality of partial areas of the sealing element. When a plurality of seal members are used, each of the plurality of seal members may have a mounting portion. The attachment region may be rectangular, round or in any other suitable shape. From the point of view of the profile element, the fastening region is that region which is in surface connection with the sealing element.
In the non-installed state is a state in which the profile system is in a factory delivery arrangement, ie the sealing element is already attached to the profile element, however, it is located neither in a sealing state nor at a mounting location such as a wall and / or floor area. The sealing element is therefore connected in the non-installed state only via the mounting surface with the profile element. The remaining unattached region of the sealing element can therefore be loose.
The sealing element is attached according to the invention on the profile element. This is done via a fastening means. The fastener may also be a variety of fasteners. The attachment means may comprise an adhesive, a screw and / or other means suitable for attaching the attachment surface to the profile element. The sealant may also be molded. Preferably, the sealant is glued to the profile element. Similarly, the profile element may have an adhesive or adhesive layer to which the sealant is glued or adhered. The attachment area is then defined by the locations where the sealant is connected to the profile element. The sealant may also be glued and additionally bolted. Advantageously, the mounting area is designed so large that the profile element can not detach from the mounting area without external influence, even in the vertical position of the sealant. At the same time, the attachment area is advantageously designed at least so large that a region to be sealed which adjoins the profile element (for example an underlying joint) is securely sealed off.
According to the invention, the sealing element has at least one region overlapping the profile element, the overlapping region being designed to fix the profile element in its installed position. The surface of the sealing element may be smaller than the surface of the profile element opposite the sealing element and at the same time have an overlapping region. The overlap area may partially overlap the profile element, i. the sealing element overlaps the sealing element opposite surface of the profile element only partially. The overlapping area can project completely beyond the edge of a surface of the profile element to be fastened. The overlap area may overlap the profile element at various locations. Advantageously, the overlapping area corresponds to a surface which is sufficiently large in order to be able to fasten the profile element reliably to a wall or a floor without further support means. When not installed, the areal overlap area is flexible, loose or movable.
Advantageously, the profile system according to the invention in addition to a sealing attachment area and overlap areas, which serve for flexible attachment of the profile element to the wall or floor. Furthermore, the attachment area can be smaller be as the mounting area opposite surface of the profile element. As a result, portions of the sealant are neither attached nor overlap the profile element. Advantageously, the profile element can therefore be cut to a required length.
The profile system according to the invention allows in addition to the reliable attachment of a profile element on or in a wall or on a floor and a variable adjustment of the height of the profile element during assembly. In addition, a size adjustment (for example, lengthening) of the profile system is very easy to perform, depending on the structural conditions. At the same time, a high sealing effect is ensured by the use of a sealant, such as a sealing film.
The profile system according to the invention is intended primarily for a sanitary system, such as a floor-level shower, but it should in no way be limited to this application. Thus, the profile system according to the invention is intended for any application in which profiles are used with seals.
In some embodiments, the installation position of the profile element is variable by the overlap region variable in the vertical and / or horizontal. Under installation position is understood that position in which the profile element is loosely arranged on a floor, wall and / or ceiling surface, i. in which the profile system is not yet fixed. Advantageously, the overlapping area is at least so great that this area is sufficient to keep the profile element in the installed state in a certain position stable.
In some embodiments, the overlap region extends on at least two opposite sides of the attachment region in the form of two partial overlap regions provided for mounting the profile element on at least one wall, ceiling and / or bottom surface, and / or each associated pad. The two partial overlap areas function as fixation devices, ie, when the profile system is in the installed position, the partial overlapping areas are secured to a wall, ceiling and / or floor surface somewhat by tile and / or tile adhesive to stably retain the profile element attached to the mounting area. Corresponding the partial overlap areas are sufficiently dimensioned to hold the weight of the profile element safely, ie tilting or rotation of the profile element is not possible.
In some embodiments, the profile element and / or the sealing element is designed to be cut. The profile element can not be completely covered by the sealing element in its longitudinal direction in the non-installed state. The profile element may have an end portion to which the sealing element is not attached. The profile element may also have both end portions without attached thereto sealant. The profile element can be individually shortened according to a customer request by means of a saw or another cutting tool in the section area where there is no glued sealing film. The profile element can be optimally adapted in this way to a tile or bottom plate format or a joint grid in the field of sanitary facilities. Preferably, the profile element is not covered at its longitudinal ends with the sealing element. Advantageously, the profile element can thus be cut at both ends. This allows an individual adaptation of the profile element length to the structural conditions at the installation site.
The cutable profile element can also have at least one profile end piece which can be detachably connected to an open end of the profile element. The profile element may have two open ends, which are each sealed off in a liquid-tight manner by means of a profile end piece. The profile end pieces or end caps are preferably used after cutting the profile element to the installation length.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a collection profile for shower water for installation in or attachment to a wall. The collection profile according to the invention is not limited to this application. The collecting profile can also comprise a gutter or a gutter body. The collection profile can be completely or partially integrated into a wall. The collecting profile can also be integrated into the ground in front of a wall. The profile system consisting of collecting profile and sealing element can be placed anywhere in a shower cubicle, where water accumulates, which should be directed to a drain.
In some embodiments, the profile element has at least one inlet opening for introducing shower water into the collecting profile. The inlet opening may be arranged laterally. The inlet opening may preferably extend over the entire length of the collection profile. There may also be several inlet openings. The inlet opening may be provided with a cover that is configured to continue to pass water, but prevents small parts or body parts from entering the collection profile.
In some embodiments, the profile element has at least one outlet opening for discharging shower water into a siphon. The outlet corresponds to a drain. The outlet opening may be arranged in the collection opening such that it can be easily reached for cleaning by means of a shower jet. Preferably, the outlet opening in the bottom, i. arranged in a lower surface of the collection profile. The outlet opening may be arranged such that surfaces inclined towards the outlet opening are arranged thereon in order to improve the water drainage. There may also be several outlet openings.
Preferably, the inlet opening is arranged in the installed position at a higher level than the outlet opening in order to improve the water drainage
In some embodiments, the collection profile is U-shaped with a bottom, a rear wall and a top floor. The collection profile may also have a different cross-sectional profile configuration (e.g., a C-profile or L-profile). The collecting profile can also have a collecting profile end piece for lateral sealing at its longitudinal ends. The collecting profile can thus be formed closed apart from the inlet opening and the outlet opening.
In some embodiments, the inlet opening is provided on the side facing away from the rear wall. Accordingly, the opening can lie opposite the rear wall, ie it can be a lateral inlet opening. The opening may extend over the entire height of the U-shaped profile. The opening can be through another Leg, which extends from the end of the bottom opposite the rear wall perpendicular over a height which is smaller than the entire height of the U-shaped profile, be reduced in size. This further leg may extend to a height which, in the installation position of the profile system, corresponds to a floor covering level, so that the water inlet into the inlet opening is ensured.
In some embodiments, the outlet opening is formed in the bottom. The outlet opening may be formed as a round, angled or any other suitable shape opening which allows a discharge of the water, which is located in the collecting profile, in a siphon or the like.
In some embodiments, the collection profile is provided in a U-shape with a bottom, a rear wall and a top floor, the opening provided on the side facing away from the rear wall side and the outlet opening formed in the bottom.
In some embodiments, in the profile system according to the invention along the bottom extends in the direction of the side facing away from the rear wall an inwardly inclined inlet slope. The inlet slope and the collecting profile can be integrally formed. The inlet slope and the collecting profile can be releasably connected to each other. The inlet slope can be made of the same material as the collection profile. The inlet slope may have a slope pointing in the direction of the outlet opening. At its highest point, the inlet slope when installed may not exceed the surface level of the shower floor. The inlet slope can also without a slope, ie horizontally in the installed state, be formed.
In some embodiments, the inlet slope has at least one drainage channel. The at least one drainage channel extends with a gradient towards the outlet opening through the inlet slope. The drainage channel is designed to guide water to the drain, which accumulates in the installed state between the front surface of the inlet slope and the floor covering. Preferably, the inlet slope on a plurality of drainage channels.
In some embodiments, the attachment region is surface-connected to the back wall and the bottom of the collection profile, the attachment region partially covering the back wall and the bottom. As a result, a partial region of the sealing element that extends from the fastening region is not connected to the bottom and the rear wall of the profile element. Preferably, the attachment area is arranged such that the profile element has end portions with which the sealing element is not connected. At these end portions, the profile element may advantageously be tailored.
In some embodiments, the inlet opening of the collecting profile is configured to form a gap in the installation position as water drainage between a wall covering, in particular of tiles, and a floor covering, in particular of tiles. Preferably, the gap has a height that is sufficiently large that the collecting profile can be cleaned with the shower head shower in the assembled state. Preferably, the gap is designed such that no small parts or body parts such as toes can penetrate.
A siphon can be designed with the profile system according to the invention. The siphon can be a drainage system through which sewage or shower water can pass. The siphon can be connected to the profile at the factory. Preferably, a film is firmly connected between siphon and profile. The siphon is preferably a flow-optimized, self-cleaning siphon. Advantageously, when using a self-cleaning siphon, the inlet opening of the profile system can be made very narrow.
A shower element can be configured with the profile system according to the invention.
In some embodiments, the profile element is designed as a decorative strip for a shower with a floor slope. The trim strip can also be designed as a slope wedge. The trim strip can be designed to visually enhance a difference in height of floor tiles. The height difference can be a level. It can also be a height difference, which is due to a slope of a floor-level shower opposite the floor next to the shower. The trim strip and the slope wedge may be formed as a flat elongated profile. During assembly, the Overlap region of the sealing element are respectively mounted on the higher floor surface and on the lower floor surface. The trim strip or slope wedge is placed parallel to the step with the top end substantially flush with the top floor tile surface. The bottom floor tile is then placed on the overlap area and mounted.
In some embodiments, the attachment area extends on a lower portion of a trim side surface. This advantageously makes it possible for the trim strip or the slope wedge to be fixed stably and simply by the overlapping area, despite the difference in height present.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as an L-profile. Preferably, the L-profile in cross section at a right angle. The L-profile can also have other angles. The L-profile can serve as a carrier profile or as a final profile. The profile element can also be configured as a T-profile and serve as a carrier profile or end profile.
In some embodiments, the L-profile has a bottom and a leg, and the attachment region is connected to the bottom surface, wherein the surface of the bottom surface is greater than the attachment region. The L-profile can be attached to a wall or floor with its base and associated attachment area. Advantageously, the L-profile is cut to size, since end portions are not connected to the sealing element.
In some embodiments, in addition to the L-profile in the installed position, a clamping profile can continue to be attached, for receiving in particular a shower wall. The L-profile is suitable in connection with the clamping profile to absorb flat objects and hold by a clamping action. The clamping profile may have a U-shaped cross section, which serves as a receptacle. The clamping profile can be mounted in an installed state of the L-profile with the sealing element, ie the overlapping areas of the profile system are already glued to a wall or a floor. Also, the clamping profile can only be installed after the floor or wall covering has already been attached. In the latter application, the leg of the L-profile has a Length that exceeds the thickness of the floor or wall covering. The L-profile can run through a tile joint or be arranged on a wall. The wall covering can bump against the profile. Thus, it is possible to attach the clamping profile over the covering. The clamping profile is preferably connected to the leg of the L-profile. The clamping profile can be screwed to the leg.
In some embodiments, the attached clamping profile has at least one elastic clamping area and is variably adjustable in the horizontal. As an elastic clamping area, any means that is resilient or slightly bendable is suitable. By receiving an object in the clamping area of this flexible and / or resilient means is moved to the side. At the same time, a restoring force exerts a holding force on the object. The clamping profile can also be adjusted individually in the solder to the wall surface or to the bottom surface. This depth adjustability can be achieved by displacing the clamping profile along the leg.
In some embodiments, a height-adjustable spar bar profile can be attached to the L profile in the installed position.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a U-profile, for receiving glass, decorative elements and / or panels.
In some embodiments, the profile element is provided as a magnetic strip, which is connectable to a magnetic profile, which is provided for closing in particular a shower door.
All embodiments of the profile element can seal an adjacent wall, ceiling or floor area very well by the attachment with the sealing element at the same time having loose overlap area. In particular, joint regions can also be sealed behind the sealing element.

In the sequence used position designations, such as above, below, front, back, right and left refer to the view of an observer on a front of him arranged profile system according to the invention in the installed position.

The collecting
The

The
From the

The sealing
The

The
