Zur Anpassung der Abdeckung 1 an unterschiedliche Breiten von Balkonen 4 ist jeweils endseitig an der Abdeckung 1 ein Endprofil 15 und ein damit verstellbar zusammenwirkendes Abschlussprofil 16 vorgesehen. Das Endprofil 15 weist an seiner einen Längsseite einen endseitig rechtwinklig abgehenden Arretierschenkel 17 auf, der in die Längsnut 10 des Überdeckungsprofils 8 eingesetzt ist, wobei das Überdeckungsprofil 8 mit seiner weiteren Längsnut 10 ein zugeordnetes Grundprofil 7 haltert. An der dem Arretierschenkel 17 gegenüberliegenden Längsseite des Endprofils 15 ist ein im Querschnitt Y-förmiger Ansatz 18 zur Auflage der Platten 3 angeformt, wobei in eine Kehlnut 19 des Ansatzes ein abdichtender Klebstoff zur Fixierung der Platten 3 eingebracht wird. Auf der dem abzudeckenden Balkon zugewandten Seite weist das Endprofil 15 ein sich in Längsrichtung verlaufendes Wellenprofil 20 auf, das zu einem Wellenprofil 21 des Abschlussprofils 16 korrespondiert, wodurch eine Verstellbarkeit des Endprofils 15 mit dem überlappten Abschlussprofil 16 gewährleistet ist. Die dem Wellenprofil 21 gegenüberliegende Seite des Abschlussprofils 16 ist zur Auflage auf dem Keil 5 eben ausgeführt. Um im randseitigen Bereich der Abdeckung 1 eine Auflage für die Platten 3 bereitzustellen, geht von der wellenprofilierten Seite des Abschlussprofils 16 im Bereich seiner nicht von dem Endprofil 15 überdeckten Längsseite ein im Querschnitt Y-förmiges Auflager 22 ab, in dessen Kehlnut 23 wiederum ein abdichtender Klebstoff zur Fixierung der Platten 3 eingebracht ist. Zur Bereitstellung einer Wasserablaufrinne im randseitigen Bereich der Abdeckung 1 ist die dem Auflager 22 zugeordnete Längsseite des Abschlussprofils 16 derart abgewinkelt, dass sich ein Winkelschenkel 24 rechtwinklig zu der Seite mit dem Wellenprofil 21 erstreckt. Alternativ dazu weist die dem Auflager 22 zugeordnete Längsseite des Abschlussprofils 16 einen T-förmigen Querschnitt auf, so dass sich ein Schenkel 25 im Wesentlichen parallel zu dem Auflager 22 und ein Schenkel 26 über den Keil 5 sowie eine zugeordnete Oberkante des Balkons 4 erstreckt. Im Überlappungsbereich ist das Endprofil 15 mit dem Abschlussprofil 16 abgedichtet verklebt. Alternativ zu dem Wellenprofil 20 weist das Endprofil 15 auf der der abzudeckenden Fläche zugewandten Seite ein in Längsrichtung verlaufendes Kammprofil 31 auf, das zu Längsrillen 32 des Abschlussprofils 16 korrespondiert.To adapt the cover 1 to different widths of balconies 4 each end of the cover 1, an end profile 15 and an adjustably cooperating end profile 16 is provided. Jede der Halterungen 34 umfasst einen an dem Balkon 4 angeschraubten Halteflansch 38, auf den ein Bügel 36 mit oberseitigen Haltenasen 37 verschiebbar aufgesteckt ist, wobei der Halteflansch 35 auch zur Festlegung eines vertikalen Geländerstabes dient. Auf den Haltenasen 37 ist die Regenrinne 35 verschiebbar gelagert. Aufgrund der Verschiebbarkeit des Bügels 36 auf dem Halteflansch 38 sowie der Verschiebbarkeit der Regenrinne 35 auf dem Bügel 36, kann sich die Regenrinne 35 bei Temperaturschwankungen verformen ohne beschädigenden Spannungen zu unterliegen. Damit das Wasser von der Abdeckung 1 zuverlässig in die Regenrinne 35 geleitet wird, ist die Gummifolie 6 zum einen mit der Abdeckung 1 und zum anderen mit der Innenseite des dem Balkon 4 zugewandten Schenkels 39 der Regenrinne 35 verklebt. Der dem Balkon 4 abgewandte Schenkel 40 der Regenrinne 35 trägt einen sich über die Regenrinne 35 erstreckenden Winkel 41, der sich unter Zwischenlage einer Dichtung 42 an den Stirnseiten randseitiger Platten 3 oder dem vor den Platten 3 verlaufenden Schenkel 26 des Abschlussprofils 16 abstützt. Claims (24)

  1. Covering for an area of balconies (4), floors, roofs or facades, the said covering including a plurality of base profiled members (7) disposed in parallel and at spacings from one another, wherein a overlap profiled member (8) that extends over the entire length of the base profiled members (7) is provided to connect two respective adjacent base profiled members (7), the said overlap profiled member having a U-shaped cross-section, wherein the side portions (9) of the overlap profiled member (8) are configured in such a manner that they engage over the side portions (11) of the base profiled member (7) that is U-shaped in cross-section and the web (14) that connects the side portions (9) of the base profiled member (7) is supported on the area, wherein the side portions (11) of the base profiled member (7) are for the retaining of overlap profiled members (8) and the web (13) of the base profiled member (7) is for abutment against the area that is to be to be covered, characterised in that each side portion (9) of the overlap profiled member (8) merges into a horizontal angular portion on the outside as well as a vertical angular portion that connects thereto and so forms a longitudinal groove (10), into which the associated side portion (11) of the base profiled member (7) engages and two projections (12) that enclose an obtuse angle are integrally formed situated opposite one another on the outside on the horizontal angular portion of each side portion (9) of the overlap profiled member (8), the said projections extending over the entire length of the overlap profiled member (8).
  2. Covering according to claim 1, characterised in that a plurality of extension pieces (27) that are Y-shaped in cross-section extend into the air from the web (13) of the base profiled member (7).
  3. Covering according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the base profiled member (7) is in the shape of a rectangle.
  4. Covering according to claim 1, characterised in that at the ends of the outer vertical angular portion of each portion (9) of the overlap profiled member (8) a nose (29) is integrally formed and extends over the entire length of the said overlap profiled member away from the said overlap profiled member, the said nose engaging in a recess (28) that is configured on the web (13) of the base profiled member (7).
  5. Covering according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that each side portion (9) of the overlap profiled member (8) extends outwards at an obtuse angle.
  6. Covering according claim 1, characterised in that an end profile (15) and a closure profile (16) that interacts with the said end profile so as to be adjustable form a respective longitudinal side boundary of the covering (1), wherein the end profile (15) is connected to a overlap profiled member (8), which in its turn is placed onto a base profiled member (7).
  7. Covering according to claim 6, characterised in that the end profile (15) overlaps the closure profile (16).
  8. Covering according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the end profile (15) on the side facing the area to be covered has a wave profile (20) that extends in the longitudinal direction, the said wave profile corresponding to a wave profile (21) of the closure profile (16).
  9. Covering according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the end profile (15) on the side facing the area to be covered includes a comb profile (31) that extends in the longitudinal direction and corresponds to longitudinal grooves (32) of the closure profile (16).
  10. Covering according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterised in that the rectangular-shaped end profile (15), at the end of one of its longitudinal sides, is provided with a locking portion (17) that extends at right angles for engaging into the longitudinal groove (10) of the overlap profiled member (8), which extends over the entire length of the end profile (15).
  11. Covering according to one of claims 6 to 10, characterised in that an extension piece (18) that is Y-shaped in cross-section is integrally moulded on the other longitudinal side of the end profile (15), the said extension piece extending over the entire length of the end profile (15).
  12. Covering according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterised in that the side of the rectangular closure profile (16) that is situated opposite the profiled side is designed flat to abut against the area to be covered.
  13. Covering according to one of claims 7 to 12, characterised in that a support (22) that is Y-shaped in cross-section extends over the entire length of the closure profile (16) from the profiled side of the closure profile (16) in the region of a longitudinal side that is not covered by the end profile (15).
  14. Covering according to claim 13, characterised in that the longitudinal side of the closure profile (16) that is associated with the support (22) is angled in such a manner that an angular portion (24) extends at right angles to the side with the wave profile (21).
  15. Covering according to claim 13 or 14, characterised in that the longitudinal side of the closure profile (16) that is associated with the support (22) has a T-shaped cross-section.
  16. Covering according to one of claims 6 to 15, characterised in that in the overlap region, the end profile (15) is adhered to the closure profile in a sealing manner.
  17. Covering according to claims 11 and 13, characterised in that the extension piece (18) of the end profile (15) and the support (22) of the closure profile (16) are aligned in such a manner that a channel groove (19, 23) points in a direction opposite to the area to be covered.
  18. Covering according to one of claims, 1 to 17, characterised in that the overlap profiled member (8) is adhered in a sealing manner to the base profiled member (7) or to a base profiled member (7) and an end profile (15).
  19. Board laying system with a covering (1) in accordance with one of claims 2 to 15, wherein the extension pieces (27) of the base profiled member (7) and/or projections (12) of the overlap profiled member (8) and/or the extension piece (18) of the end profile (15) and/or the support (22) of the closure profile (16) are for the laying of boards (3).
  20. Board laying system according to claim 19, characterised in that the base profiled member (7) and/or the overlap profiled member (8) and/or the end profile (15) and/or the closure profile (16) are adhered to a rubber film (6) that extends over the edge of the area to be covered.
  21. Board laying system according to claim 19 or 20, characterised in that holders (34) are secured on end faces (33) of the area to be covered that point into the air for the floating mounting of a circumferential rain channel (35)
  22. Board laying system according to claim 21 or 22, characterised in that the rubber film (6) is adhered on the inside of the portion (39) of the rain channel (35) facing the area.
