Die Öffnung zum Durchtritt von Wasser kann nach unten von der gekrümmte Oberfläche des Ablaufsiebs begrenzt werden, nach oben durch die Auflagefläche des Ablaufsiebs und seitlich durch die Stege. Claims (12)

  1. Drain sieve (2) for a washbasin (1) for catching foreign bodies of a predefined minimum size, having
    - a curved surface (3) and

  5. Drain sieve according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the curved surface (3) has the shape of part of a surface of an ellipsoid.
  6. Drain sieve according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the curved surface (3) has the shape of part of a surface of a sphere.
  7. Drain sieve according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the distance of the edge (5) of the curved surface (3) of the drain sieve (2) from the bearing face (4) of the drain sieve (2) is at most 7 mm.
  8. Washbasin (1) having a drain (19) and having a drain sieve (2) according to one of Claims 1 to 7 in the region of the drain (19) of the washbasin (1).
