Die vorliegende Erfindung beschäftigt sich mit einer Waffenanlage, insbesondere mit Kalibererhöhung bei gleichbleibender Schnittstelle in einem vorhandenen Turm eines Kampffahrzeugs, wie beispielsweise des Leopard 2 oder Leclerc. Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere die Einrüstung einer Waffenanlage mit größerem Kaliberdurchmesser in die vorhandene Schnittstelle "Turm" einer kaliberkleineren Waffenanlage mit dem Ziel der Leistungssteigerung der Waffenanlage und damit des Kampffahrzeugs.The present invention is concerned with a weapon system, in particular with an increase in caliber with a constant interface in an existing turret of a combat vehicle, such as the Leopard 2 or Leclerc. - A combat vehicle having a weapon system (100) comprisingat least one breech (2)a blowback system (3),a smaller-caliber barrel (1') having a loading part (15') with a loading space length (17') and a loading space diameter (16'), anda larger-caliber barrel (1) that can be exchanged for the smaller-caliber barrel (1') having a loading part (15) with a loading space length (17), wherein the larger-caliber barrel (1) has a loading space lengthening (20) compared with the loading space (17') of a smaller-caliber barrel (1'), while more or less maintaining a loading space diameter (16, 16') of the smaller-caliber barrel (1') to increase the performance of the weapon system (100), wherein the outer dimensions of the larger-caliber barrel (1) remain virtually unchanged compared with the smaller-caliber barrel (1') in the region of the loading part (15, 15').
- The combat vehicle as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the larger-caliber barrel (1) has a caliber part (12) with a larger caliber diameter (13) than the smaller-caliber barrel (1').
- The combat vehicle as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the larger-caliber barrel (1) has a 130 mm caliber and the smaller-caliber barrel (1') has a 120 mm caliber.
- The combat vehicle as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the loading space length (17) of the larger-caliber barrel (1) can be selected depending on the ammunition to be fired.
- The combat vehicle as claimed in one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the loading space length (17) of the larger-caliber barrel (1) can be selected depending on an amount of propelling charge required.
- The combat vehicle as claimed in any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the combat vehicle is a battle tank.
