Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a horn box with movable horns.
  • the wristwatch boxes most often have a middle provided with two pairs of horns in order to fix the two strands of a bracelet.
  • the shoulders are generally made up of a single piece made by stamping by integrating the horns.
  • the presence of the horns makes the box difficult to manufacture and polish.
  • Each strand of the bracelet is connected to the watch case by a spring bar which passes through a hole at the end of the bracelet and which fits into small holes on the internal face of the two horns of a pair.
  • the length of the bar can be reduced to fit it into these holes, then resumes its initial length when it is in place, which allows the bracelet to be maintained.
  • These rods are fragile and delicate to insert.
  • CH697598B offers a device for locking the ends of the bracelet bars using a sliding bolt under the underside of the horns. This device is fragile.
  • CH698787 describes a device for locking the ends of the bracelet bars by means of a rotating bezel which covers the horns in the locked position. This device monopolizes the telescope for this function.
  • FR3004898B1 describes a watch case comprising horns mounted on a strap surrounding the middle. The bracelet can be inserted or opening the strap to temporarily widen the wedge.
  • CH706260 describes a watch case comprising a middle and removable horns.
  • the horns are grouped in two pairs, each pair holding one of the strands of the bracelet.
  • the two horns of each pair are connected together by a connecting piece which widens the diameter of the box between 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock.
  • EP2188676 describes a similar solution, in which the connecting piece is held against the middle by means of an elastic member inside the middle.
  • CH355094 and CH321188 offer a middle part provided with housings intended to receive a connecting piece of horns.
  • EP0400206 describes a middle part of a wristwatch, the bracelet of which is retained on the middle part by means of an external part and a locking element.
  • EP2431825 describes removable horns linked to a middle part by exploiting the deformation of projecting elements. This solution based on elastic deformations is fragile.
  • CH701221 describes a horn-middle part connection using tenon-mortise type connections, the assembly being held by a dowel. Assembly and disassembly are complex.
  • FR3021128 A1 discloses a wristwatch with exchangeable horns.
  • the case includes two sets of horns and spring effect hooking means.
  • Each set includes two horns secured to each other, the attachment means being pairs of blades.
  • the horn assemblies can be uncoupled by a user by applying pressure to the blades.
  • EP0886196 A2 describes a wristwatch made from a nut.
  • the nut forms the watch case and is provided with blind cavities each configured to hold a horn.
  • WO2004023221 A1 describes a wristwatch comprising a middle part and a removable bracelet.
  • the bracelet is held in the middle by a ball joint between spherical portions of connecting elements integral with the bracelet coming to be housed in cavities formed in the middle.
  • the other fixing means described require either specific tools for disassembly or reassembly, which the end user only rarely has, or locking mechanisms only suitable for thick watch cases with bulky horns.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a watch case free from the above limitations.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide a watch case with horns which can be disassembled and reassembled easily, without specialized tools, for example in order to quickly replace a bracelet.
  • This solution has the particular advantage of allowing easier insertion or extraction of the bracelet strands, simply by acting on a pusher in order to widen the spacing, that is to say the distance between two horns.
  • the pusher can be manipulated directly with the finger, or preferably with a fine point such as a pen point or another readily available utensil. Handling with a fine point limits the risk of unintentional or malicious opening.
  • the bracelet strand held between two horns using a bar can be inserted or removed easily, without having to modify the length of the bar.
  • An auxiliary object of the invention is to allow a stable attachment of horns, but without requiring bulky horns or shoulders.
  • an aim is to avoid connecting the horns in pairs at 6 o'clock and at 12 o'clock using a piece or a connecting portion between the two horns of each pair.
  • a piece or a connecting portion increases the diameter of the box between 6 and 12, and makes them less suitable for small wrists.
  • the horns of the watch case according to the invention are advantageously linked two by two by means of a connecting portion, so as to form two pairs of horns to facilitate their stable fixing.
  • a first bracelet strand is maintained between a first horn of the first pair and a first horn of the second pair, while the second bracelet strand is maintained between the second horn of the first pair and the second horn of the second. pair.
  • the two pairs of horns thus form a stretcher surrounding the middle.
  • the center of mass of one of the pairs is at 3 o'clock while the center of mass of the other pair is at 9 o'clock.
  • the watch case 1 comprises a middle part 2, here a cylindrical middle part, and two pairs of horns 3 forming a stretcher. It is preferably provided with a removable bottom 4, as illustrated in the Figures 2A and 2B .
  • the first pair of horns on the left in the figure, comprises a first horn (approximately at 11 o'clock) to maintain a first side of the first strand of the bracelet, and a second horn (approximately at 7 o'clock) to maintain a first side of the second strand of bracelet.
  • the two horns of the first pair are connected to each other by a connecting portion surrounding the left side of the middle seen from above. The center of gravity of this pair of horns is therefore at 9 o'clock.
  • the second pair of horns on the right in the figure, has a first horn (approximately 1 hour) to maintain a second side of the first strand of the bracelet, and a second horn (approximately 5 hours) to maintain a second side of the second strand of bracelet.
  • the two horns of the second pair are connected to each other by a connecting portion surrounding the right of the middle seen from above.
  • the center of gravity of this second pair of horns is therefore at 3 o'clock.
  • the first bracelet strand (not shown) is held between the first horn of the first pair and the first horn of the second pair.
  • the gap between the two horns at rest is indicated by the reference d.
  • the second bracelet strand (not shown) is held between the second horn of the first pair and the second horn of the second pair.
  • the gap between the two horns at rest is preferably also equal to d.
  • Each bracelet strand can be held in place by a non-extendable bar crossing the end of the bracelet and inserted into two blind holes on the internal face of two facing horns.
  • the bars do not need to be extensible and the insertion or extraction is done by temporarily widening the wedge d, as we will see.
  • the bars can be round section bars, or preferably shaped bars to impose the direction in which the bracelet strand is directed.
  • the figure 2A shows a sectional view of the watch case in the horn locking position, along line HH of the figure 1 ; the figure 2B shows the same box in section along line JJ of the figure 2A . Corresponding views in the horn release position are illustrated on the Figures 3A and 3B .
  • Each horn or each pair of horns has a blind hole 32 for accommodating a first elastic element 31, preferably a spiral spring, which tends to push the horn 30 away from the middle part 2, in a substantially radial direction. It is possible to provide a spring 31 per horn, or one per pair of horns 3.
  • the horns 3 have a portion 34 which extends radially to hold the bracelet, and a portion 35 which extends under the middle part 2, or between the middle part 2 and the bottom 4.
  • the first elastic element can also be housed in a blind hole in the middle part, or be produced in the form of a blade between the horn and the middle part. It is also possible to use an elastomer as the first elastic element.
  • Each pusher 5 has a pusher head 51 and a pusher rod 50.
  • the diameter of the pusher head 51 is larger than the diameter of the pusher rod 50, and prevents the pusher from coming out after assembly.
  • the elastic element 52 bears against the pusher head 51 which is at least partially engaged in the blind hole 20.
  • the pusher rod 50 passes through the hole 33 through the portion 35 of the horns under the middle part 2.
  • the through hole 33 has an oblong shape and thus allows the horn 3 to move in a direction approximately relative to the pusher 5 and therefore to the middle part 2.
  • the horn 3 is pressed against the external flank of the middle part.
  • the horn 3 is pushed back radially by the elastic element 31, leaving a clearance 36 between the outer flank of the middle part 2 and the inner flank of the horn. In this position, the wedge is widened which allows to insert a rod between two horns to fix a strand of bracelet.
  • the head 51 By pushing the pusher 5 against the action of the elastic element 52, for example using a tool tip or a pen from the bottom of the watch, the head 51 fully penetrates into the blind hole 20 to across the middle 2, which releases the horn as illustrated on the Figures 3A and 3B . It can then move outwards, creating a clearance 36 between the middle part 2 and the horn 30. The amplitude of the movement is limited by the contact between the edge of the through hole 33 and the rod 50.
  • the horn 3 can be returned to the locking position by pressing on its external face until the pusher head 51 can return to the through hole 33 under the action of the second elastic element 52.
  • the wristwatch includes a bracelet provided with electronic elements, for example a battery, a processor, an inertial sensor, a GPS sensor, and / or an RF circuit, etc. These components can for example be embedded in a molded rubber strap or in a synthetic material. A connection electrical can be established between the components of this bracelet and a conductor housed in the horns, for example through the bar.
  • the bar can be made in two parts electrically isolated from each other.
  • the horn 30 can be made for example from an insulating material, for example a synthetic or ceramic material, in order to accommodate a conductive wire connected to the bar when the bracelet is mounted in the locked position.
  • the horn can also be made of a conductive material, for example metal, and accommodate one or more conductors provided with an insulating peripheral sheath.
  • the cable can pass through a hole in the horn which can be machined.
  • the hole is provided in a horn produced by assembly, or produced in additive manufacturing, for example mime or 3D printing.
  • One of the horns can be used directly as a conductor, for example a ground conductor, without requiring an isolated conductor.
  • the electrical connection between a bracelet strand and the two horns that hold this strand can allow the power supply of an electronic component of the bracelet with the watch battery, or conversely the power supply of a circuit in the watch with a battery in the bracelet strand.
  • the electrical connection between a strand of bracelet and the two horns 30 which hold this strand makes it possible to transmit an electrical power signal between the two strands of bracelets, crossing the connecting portion of each of the two pairs of horns.
  • One of the pairs of horns can for example transmit the mass of the electrical signal between the two strands of the bracelet; the second pair of horns can transmit a continuous power supply signal V dd between these two strands.
