  • the invention is based on the technical problem of providing a sanitary fitting of the type mentioned at the outset which has an insert body which is formed in an advantageous manner and is equipped with at least one interchangeable sanitary utility element.
  • the sanitary fitting according to the invention has a water guide channel, a slide-in shaft extending transversely into the water guide channel with a user-accessible slide-in opening and, as slide-in body, a slide-in plate which contains at least one sanitary useful element and in which flow-through area can be flowed through from one side of the plate to the other, the slide-in plate being opposite its lateral plate dimension has a smaller plate thickness and can be inserted into the insertion slot in a lateral insertion direction via the insertion opening and can be moved out of the insertion slot against the insertion direction.
  • the insertion slot remains stationary in an operating position when the insertion plate is inserted or moved out, and the insertion opening remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot.
  • the insert plate is positioned with its flow area in the water guide channel and the useful element is in contact with the water guide channel when the insert plate is in its operating position completely pushed into the insert shaft.
  • the insertion direction thus runs in a lateral direction of the insertion plate and transversely to a direction in which the water guide channel runs in the region of the insertion shaft extending transversely into it.
  • the sanitary useful element can, when the sanitary fitting is in its operating position, e.g. mounted as a mixer tap on a washstand, kitchen sink or bath area or mounted on the wall or ceiling as a head or side shower tap in a bathroom or shower room, in a very simple way by inserting the insert plate into the desired position via the insert opening accessible to the user brought into the water channel and removed again if necessary without having to dismantle the sanitary fitting as a whole and without having to dismantle a part of the sanitary fitting containing the insertion shaft or remove or remove it from another fitting part.
  • the dimension of the insert plate is at least in its flow area in the thickness direction smaller than transverse to it, ie smaller than in the lateral directions perpendicular to it.
  • the insert plate can in particular be implemented in the manner of a service card with a comparatively flat design in the flow direction, the thickness dimension in the flow direction being, for example, only about a third or a quarter or a fifth of the dimension in the direction perpendicular thereto or even less, i.e. the thickness of the The insert plate is then at most approx. 1/3, 1/4 or 1/5 or even less in relation to the minimum dimension of the insert plate in the transverse direction.
  • the insert plate has a rectangular or square shape, for example with a rectangular outer dimension, in an alternative embodiment any other shape, such as circular or oval etc.
  • the slot has a corresponding shape, such as rectangular or a cuboid hollow shape or circular etc.
  • the sanitary utility element is a sieve or a flow limiter or a shaped jet body or a water ventilation element or a water addition element. Disturbing particles can be retained with the sieve. This can e.g. be advantageous for showers which have relatively small shower jet outlet openings which are therefore susceptible to blockage by particles in the water flow.
  • the flow limiter With the flow limiter, the flow of water through the water duct can be adjusted in a desired manner.
  • the water aeration element can be used to aerate the water led through the water duct, i.e. enriched with supplied air.
  • the water addition element can be used to add an additive to the water in the water duct, e.g. a cleaning agent, shower soap or other shower additive.
  • the insert plate has a wedge shape with a decreasing thickness in the direction of flow in the direction of flow and contains a seal on a surface which is inclined in accordance with the wedge shape. Pushing the slide-in plate into the slide-in slot ensures that the necessary pressure on the seal is only achieved in the last part of the travel path, i.e. shortly before the insert plate has reached its operating position in the insert slot. It is advantageous here that the seal is not damaged when the slide-in plate is inserted into the slide-in slot and the force required when inserting it remains low.
  • the sanitary fitting has a releasable latching mechanism for holding the insert plate in the insert shaft in a latched manner. This represents an advantageous possibility of holding the insert plate in its operating position in the insert slot and, if necessary, removing it from the insert slot by releasing the latching mechanism.
  • the sanitary fitting has a water stop mechanism for automatically opening and closing the water guide channel when inserting and removing the insert plate into and from the insert shaft.
  • the water guide channel can be closed or closed automatically when the insert plate is removed from the insert shaft. This avoids unwanted water leaks e.g. out of the slot without the user having to operate a shut-off device himself.
  • the water stop mechanism automatically opens the water guide channel, so that again no separate actuation of a shut-off element for opening the water guide channel by the user is required.
  • the sanitary fitting has an ejection mechanism for automatically moving the insert plate out of its operating position in the insert shaft after the locking mechanism has been released.
  • the ejection mechanism ensures that when the user has released the locking mechanism, the insert plate moves at least a little out of its operating position in the insert slot, after which the user can completely remove the insert plate from the insert slot if necessary.
  • the water stop mechanism has a closing slide unit which is elastically biased in the closing direction and actuated by the insertion plate for opening and closing the water guide channel upstream of the insertion shaft. This enables the water guide channel to be shut off in a relatively simple manner when the insert plate is not inserted.
  • the sanitary fitting has a clip mechanism for holding the useful element clipped onto the insert plate.
  • the clip element allows the useful element to be held securely on the insert plate, so that there is no danger that the useful element will fall out of the insert plate when the insert plate is handled.
  • the clip mechanism can be implemented as non-detachable and / or secured against unauthorized use. As a result, the insert plate can be secured against unauthorized manipulation if necessary.
  • the insert plate has a plurality of useful elements which are arranged next to one another in a plate plane of the insert plate or one behind the other in a flow direction perpendicular thereto.
  • Useful elements arranged next to one another are preferably flowed through in parallel by a respective partial flow of the water flowing in the water duct.
  • Useful elements arranged one behind the other are preferably flowed through serially by the water flowing in the water guide channel.
  • the sanitary fitting is a water outlet fitting with a housing body on which the insertion shaft is formed.
  • the insertion shaft is integrated in the housing body of the sanitary fitting, the water guide channel extending in the housing body.
  • the housing body forms an outlet body with a water outlet from which the water emerges for use by the user.
  • the slide-in plate has a rear end which is flush with the housing body of the water outlet fitting when the slide-in plate is in its operating position which is completely pushed into the slide-in shaft. This enables an optically inconspicuous integration of the insert plate into the design of the housing body of the water outlet fitting.
  • the sanitary fitting is a shower or wall-mounted shower head with a shower head housing on which the insertion shaft is formed.
  • the shower head forms a water outlet fitting and the shower head housing forms an associated housing body.
  • the shower head can be mounted on a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom, whereby it projects at least with its shower head housing from the wall or ceiling area. Since the insertion shaft is formed on the shower head housing, the insertion plate with the one or more useful elements can be easily inserted into and removed from the insertion shaft with a relatively small upstream distance from a water outlet of the shower head, which is typically formed by a spray disc closing the shower head housing downstream this can be taken out.
  • the sanitary fitting is a shower shower built into the wall or ceiling, and the insertion shaft is arranged with the insertion direction running perpendicular to a wall or ceiling installation plane.
  • the shower head is flush with a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom or recessed in the same, without projecting from this wall or ceiling area.
  • the slide-in shaft is arranged with the slide-in direction running perpendicular to the wall / ceiling installation level, the slide-in plate can nevertheless be inserted very easily in order to bring the useful element or elements into their use position in the water duct, so that no surface-mounted component for inserting the slide-in plate for such Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted shower head is required.
  • a sanitary fitting 1 is shown in block diagram form, which has a water guiding channel 2, which extends from a water inlet 3 to a water outlet 4 of the sanitary fitting 1. Furthermore, the sanitary fitting 1 has an insertion shaft 5 with an insertion opening 6. The insertion shaft 5 extends into the water duct 2.

  • the lateral plate dimension P L can be, for example, the length or width of a rectangular version of the insert plate 7 or the diameter of a circular version of the insert plate 7 or the minimal lateral extent of an oval, polygonal or other version of the insert plate 7.
  • the lateral direction is understood to mean the directions parallel to the plate plane, the plate plane as usual being a center plane Ep of the insert plate 7 or a plane parallel to it, to which its two main plate sides, ie their in Fig. 1 top main page H1 and their in Fig. 1 lower main side H2, are parallel or at most run at an acute angle of at most 45 °.
  • the plate thickness P D is preferably at most 1/5 of the lateral plate dimension P L.
  • the insertion plate 7 can be inserted into the insertion slot 5 in a lateral insertion direction S L via the insertion opening 6 and can be moved out of the insertion slot against the insertion direction.
  • the insertion shaft 5 is arranged in a stationary manner, ie it takes up an operating position in the use of the sanitary fitting 1, in which it remains even when the insertion plate 7 is inserted or moved out.
  • the insertion opening 6 remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot 5.
  • the insertion slot 5 does not have to be dismantled or moved in any other way to insert and remove the insertion plate 7.
  • Fig. 1 the insertion plate 7 is shown completely outside the insertion slot 5.
  • the insert plate 7 is completely inserted into the insert shaft 5 and is located with its flow area in the water guide channel 2, so that water can flow through it from one plate main side H1 to its other plate main side H2, ie along its plate thickness P D , if water flows in the water channel 2.
  • This is in Fig. 1 symbolized with a flow direction D perpendicular to the center plane E P of the insert plate 7.
  • the flow can also take place at an angle to the center plane Ep or in turns, as long as the water flowing in the water guide channel 2 on one main plate side H1 enters the insert plate 7 and exits again on the other, opposite plate main side H2.
  • the insert plate 7 can be flowed through as a whole, or the throughflow area forms only a partial area of the insert plate 7.
  • the useful element 8 is in contact with the water guide channel 2, so that the water flows through it or, alternatively, only flows or does it flow comes into contact with him.
  • the sanitary useful element 8 can be any element that can be used with such a slide-in plate and that fulfills an associated sanitary useful function for the sanitary fitting or the water guided in the water guide channel 2.
  • the useful element 8 can be a sieve or a flow limiter or a shaped jet body or a water ventilation element or a water additive element. Using a sieve, disturbing particles can be retained in the water flow. The water flow can be limited as desired with a flow limiter. With a shaped jet body, it can be ensured that the water exits the water outlet 4 of the sanitary fitting 1 in a desired jet shape. Air can be added to the water flow in the water duct 2 using a water ventilation element. With a water additive element, an additive can be added to the water in the water guide channel 2, e.g. a cleaning agent, soap or another additive, depending on the application of the sanitary fitting.
  • Fig. 1 Furthermore, some optional components are shown which, depending on the need and application, can be present or missing in the case of corresponding implementations of the sanitary fitting according to the invention. • the water guide channel 2 in turn extends through the shower housing 13c from the water inlet 3 to the water outlet 4.
  • the insertion shaft 5 is in turn formed in the shower housing 13c, in which case the insertion shaft 5 opens out with its insertion opening 6 on the circumference, ie on the lateral surface, of the tubular shower housing 13c.
  • the insert plate 7 can thus be inserted laterally with a horizontal insertion direction S L into the horizontally lying insertion shaft 5.
  • the insertion slot 5 is located in the lower end region of the shower housing 13c near the shower head connection 13b.
  • the Fig. 20 , 23 and 24 show the ceiling-mounted overhead shower with the insertion plate 7 fully inserted into the insertion shaft 5 21 and 22 show the overhead shower with the insert plate 7 in the water stop position or in the ejection position according to the situation according to the 10 to 14 or 15 to 19 in the embodiment of 2 to 19 .
  • the insertion slot 5 and the insertion plate 7 as well as for the optional components, such as locking mechanism 9, ejection mechanism 10 and water stop mechanism 11, these are the exemplary embodiment of FIG 2 to 19 explained implementations for the ceiling-mounted overhead shower of the 20 to 24 usable in the same way. In this respect, reference can be made to their description above.
  • the 25 to 28 illustrate a realization of the sanitary fitting 1 as a water outlet fitting 1a with a housing body 1b, on which the insertion shaft 5 is formed, in which case the water outlet fitting 1a forms a shower shower 1e built into the ceiling and the housing body 1b is designed as a pot-shaped shower housing 13e.
  • the pot-shaped shower housing 13e is mounted with its open side facing downwards and with an associated edge area 17, preferably essentially flush with the ceiling in a ceiling of a shower room or bathroom.
  • a supply line 16 leads laterally into the shower housing 13e, which forms the water inlet 3.
  • the shower head 13f forming the water outlet 4 is coupled to the shower head connection 13b on the lower side of the shower housing 13e in the assembly position, in this embodiment, as in the other versions, the shower head 13f is preferably detachable, for example by means of a plug-in, latching or clip connection, can be fixed to the shower housing 13e.
  • the water guide channel 2 extends from the water inlet 3 to the water outlet 4.
  • the 27 and 28 show the ceiling shower shower 1e with the shower head 13f removed.
  • the insertion shaft 5 again formed in the shower housing 13e and the associated insertion plate 7 can be seen.
  • the insertion shaft 5 extends in the vertical direction with the insertion opening 6 pointing downward when the ceiling-mounted overhead shower is in its mounting position.
  • the insertion plate 7 with the vertical insertion direction S L can slide into the insertion shaft 5 from below can be inserted at the top.
  • Fig. 27 shows the insert plate 7 in the fully inserted into the insertion slot 5 and additionally secured in this position by means of a pivotable securing bracket 18.
  • Fig. 28 shows the slide-in plate 7 in the ejection position with the securing bracket 18 pivoted away.
