- the disclosure GB 2 445 736 A discloses a shower head with a double-cylindrical insert body which has an outer cylinder which can be immovably inserted into a housing body of the shower head and a rotatably received in the outer cylinder Includes inner cylinder.
- the inner cylinder has two separate chambers, which are filled with liquid soap, hair shampoo or the like and can be selectively coupled into a water guide of the housing body or locked against it by rotating the inner cylinder.
- a generic sanitary fitting of the type mentioned in the form of a water outlet fitting in which the insertion shaft is formed by a tubular sleeve which penetrates a discharge pipe transversely and is pierced transversely for the purpose of water passage and which projects openly at one end from the wall of the outlet pipe.
- a cylindrical ventilation and jet regulator insert which can be inserted into the tube sleeve along its longitudinal axis, acts as the insert body.
- a likewise cylindrical sealing plug seals the tube sleeve to the outside and has a cavity opening into an axial air intake opening.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of providing a sanitary fitting of the type mentioned at the outset which has an insert body which is formed in an advantageous manner and is equipped with at least one interchangeable sanitary utility element.
- the sanitary fitting according to the invention has a water guide channel, a slide-in shaft extending transversely into the water guide channel with a user-accessible slide-in opening and, as slide-in body, a slide-in plate which contains at least one sanitary useful element and in which flow-through area can be flowed through from one side of the plate to the other, the slide-in plate being opposite its lateral plate dimension has a smaller plate thickness and can be inserted into the insertion slot in a lateral insertion direction via the insertion opening and can be moved out of the insertion slot against the insertion direction.
- the insertion slot remains stationary in an operating position when the insertion plate is inserted or moved out, and the insertion opening remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot.
- the insert plate is positioned with its flow area in the water guide channel and the useful element is in contact with the water guide channel when the insert plate is in its operating position completely pushed into the insert shaft.
- the insertion direction thus runs in a lateral direction of the insertion plate and transversely to a direction in which the water guide channel runs in the region of the insertion shaft extending transversely into it.
- the sanitary useful element can, when the sanitary fitting is in its operating position, e.g. mounted as a mixer tap on a washstand, kitchen sink or bath area or mounted on the wall or ceiling as a head or side shower tap in a bathroom or shower room, in a very simple way by inserting the insert plate into the desired position via the insert opening accessible to the user brought into the water channel and removed again if necessary without having to dismantle the sanitary fitting as a whole and without having to dismantle a part of the sanitary fitting containing the insertion shaft or remove or remove it from another fitting part.
- the dimension of the insert plate is at least in its flow area in the thickness direction smaller than transverse to it, ie smaller than in the lateral directions perpendicular to it.
- the insert plate can in particular be implemented in the manner of a service card with a comparatively flat design in the flow direction, the thickness dimension in the flow direction being, for example, only about a third or a quarter or a fifth of the dimension in the direction perpendicular thereto or even less, i.e. the thickness of the The insert plate is then at most approx. 1/3, 1/4 or 1/5 or even less in relation to the minimum dimension of the insert plate in the transverse direction.
- the insert plate has a rectangular or square shape, for example with a rectangular outer dimension, in an alternative embodiment any other shape, such as circular or oval etc.
- the slot has a corresponding shape, such as rectangular or a cuboid hollow shape or circular etc.
- the sanitary utility element is a sieve or a flow limiter or a shaped jet body or a water ventilation element or a water addition element. Disturbing particles can be retained with the sieve. This can e.g. be advantageous for showers which have relatively small shower jet outlet openings which are therefore susceptible to blockage by particles in the water flow.
- the flow limiter With the flow limiter, the flow of water through the water duct can be adjusted in a desired manner.
- the water aeration element can be used to aerate the water led through the water duct, i.e. enriched with supplied air.
- the water addition element can be used to add an additive to the water in the water duct, e.g. a cleaning agent, shower soap or other shower additive.
- the insert plate has a wedge shape with a decreasing thickness in the direction of flow in the direction of flow and contains a seal on a surface which is inclined in accordance with the wedge shape. Pushing the slide-in plate into the slide-in slot ensures that the necessary pressure on the seal is only achieved in the last part of the travel path, i.e. shortly before the insert plate has reached its operating position in the insert slot. It is advantageous here that the seal is not damaged when the slide-in plate is inserted into the slide-in slot and the force required when inserting it remains low.
- the sanitary fitting has a releasable latching mechanism for holding the insert plate in the insert shaft in a latched manner. This represents an advantageous possibility of holding the insert plate in its operating position in the insert slot and, if necessary, removing it from the insert slot by releasing the latching mechanism.
- the sanitary fitting has a water stop mechanism for automatically opening and closing the water guide channel when inserting and removing the insert plate into and from the insert shaft.
- the water guide channel can be closed or closed automatically when the insert plate is removed from the insert shaft. This avoids unwanted water leaks e.g. out of the slot without the user having to operate a shut-off device himself.
- the water stop mechanism automatically opens the water guide channel, so that again no separate actuation of a shut-off element for opening the water guide channel by the user is required.
- the sanitary fitting has an ejection mechanism for automatically moving the insert plate out of its operating position in the insert shaft after the locking mechanism has been released.
- the ejection mechanism ensures that when the user has released the locking mechanism, the insert plate moves at least a little out of its operating position in the insert slot, after which the user can completely remove the insert plate from the insert slot if necessary.
- the water stop mechanism has a closing slide unit which is elastically biased in the closing direction and actuated by the insertion plate for opening and closing the water guide channel upstream of the insertion shaft. This enables the water guide channel to be shut off in a relatively simple manner when the insert plate is not inserted.
- the sanitary fitting has a clip mechanism for holding the useful element clipped onto the insert plate.
- the clip element allows the useful element to be held securely on the insert plate, so that there is no danger that the useful element will fall out of the insert plate when the insert plate is handled.
- the clip mechanism can be implemented as non-detachable and / or secured against unauthorized use. As a result, the insert plate can be secured against unauthorized manipulation if necessary.
- the insert plate has a plurality of useful elements which are arranged next to one another in a plate plane of the insert plate or one behind the other in a flow direction perpendicular thereto.
- Useful elements arranged next to one another are preferably flowed through in parallel by a respective partial flow of the water flowing in the water duct.
- Useful elements arranged one behind the other are preferably flowed through serially by the water flowing in the water guide channel.
- the sanitary fitting is a water outlet fitting with a housing body on which the insertion shaft is formed.
- the insertion shaft is integrated in the housing body of the sanitary fitting, the water guide channel extending in the housing body.
- the housing body forms an outlet body with a water outlet from which the water emerges for use by the user.
- the slide-in plate has a rear end which is flush with the housing body of the water outlet fitting when the slide-in plate is in its operating position which is completely pushed into the slide-in shaft. This enables an optically inconspicuous integration of the insert plate into the design of the housing body of the water outlet fitting.
- the sanitary fitting is a shower or wall-mounted shower head with a shower head housing on which the insertion shaft is formed.
- the shower head forms a water outlet fitting and the shower head housing forms an associated housing body.
- the shower head can be mounted on a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom, whereby it projects at least with its shower head housing from the wall or ceiling area. Since the insertion shaft is formed on the shower head housing, the insertion plate with the one or more useful elements can be easily inserted into and removed from the insertion shaft with a relatively small upstream distance from a water outlet of the shower head, which is typically formed by a spray disc closing the shower head housing downstream this can be taken out.
- the sanitary fitting is a shower shower built into the wall or ceiling, and the insertion shaft is arranged with the insertion direction running perpendicular to a wall or ceiling installation plane.
- the shower head is flush with a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom or recessed in the same, without projecting from this wall or ceiling area.
- the slide-in shaft is arranged with the slide-in direction running perpendicular to the wall / ceiling installation level, the slide-in plate can nevertheless be inserted very easily in order to bring the useful element or elements into their use position in the water duct, so that no surface-mounted component for inserting the slide-in plate for such Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted shower head is required.
- a sanitary fitting 1 is shown in block diagram form, which has a water guiding channel 2, which extends from a water inlet 3 to a water outlet 4 of the sanitary fitting 1. Furthermore, the sanitary fitting 1 has an insertion shaft 5 with an insertion opening 6. The insertion shaft 5 extends into the water duct 2.
- the insertion shaft 5 can be formed in a housing part of the sanitary fitting 1, in which the water duct 2 is also formed, at least in its section adjacent to the insertion shaft 5.
- the sanitary fitting 1 further comprises an insert body in the form of an insert plate 7, which contains at least one sanitary utility element 8 and has a plate thickness P D that is smaller than its lateral plate dimension P L in at least one flow area.
- the lateral plate dimension P L can be, for example, the length or width of a rectangular version of the insert plate 7 or the diameter of a circular version of the insert plate 7 or the minimal lateral extent of an oval, polygonal or other version of the insert plate 7.
- the lateral direction is understood to mean the directions parallel to the plate plane, the plate plane as usual being a center plane Ep of the insert plate 7 or a plane parallel to it, to which its two main plate sides, ie their in Fig. 1 top main page H1 and their in Fig. 1 lower main side H2, are parallel or at most run at an acute angle of at most 45 °.
- the plate thickness P D is preferably at most 1/5 of the lateral plate dimension P L.
- the insertion plate 7 can be inserted into the insertion slot 5 in a lateral insertion direction S L via the insertion opening 6 and can be moved out of the insertion slot against the insertion direction.
- the insertion shaft 5 is arranged in a stationary manner, ie it takes up an operating position in the use of the sanitary fitting 1, in which it remains even when the insertion plate 7 is inserted or moved out.
- the insertion opening 6 remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot 5.
- the insertion slot 5 does not have to be dismantled or moved in any other way to insert and remove the insertion plate 7.
- Fig. 1 the insertion plate 7 is shown completely outside the insertion slot 5.
- the insert plate 7 is completely inserted into the insert shaft 5 and is located with its flow area in the water guide channel 2, so that water can flow through it from one plate main side H1 to its other plate main side H2, ie along its plate thickness P D , if water flows in the water channel 2.
- This is in Fig. 1 symbolized with a flow direction D perpendicular to the center plane E P of the insert plate 7.
- the flow can also take place at an angle to the center plane Ep or in turns, as long as the water flowing in the water guide channel 2 on one main plate side H1 enters the insert plate 7 and exits again on the other, opposite plate main side H2.
- the insert plate 7 can be flowed through as a whole, or the throughflow area forms only a partial area of the insert plate 7.
- the useful element 8 is in contact with the water guide channel 2, so that the water flows through it or, alternatively, only flows or does it flow comes into contact with him.
- the sanitary useful element 8 can be any element that can be used with such a slide-in plate and that fulfills an associated sanitary useful function for the sanitary fitting or the water guided in the water guide channel 2.
- the useful element 8 can be a sieve or a flow limiter or a shaped jet body or a water ventilation element or a water additive element. Using a sieve, disturbing particles can be retained in the water flow. The water flow can be limited as desired with a flow limiter. With a shaped jet body, it can be ensured that the water exits the water outlet 4 of the sanitary fitting 1 in a desired jet shape. Air can be added to the water flow in the water duct 2 using a water ventilation element. With a water additive element, an additive can be added to the water in the water guide channel 2, e.g. a cleaning agent, soap or another additive, depending on the application of the sanitary fitting.
- Fig. 1 Furthermore, some optional components are shown which, depending on the need and application, can be present or missing in the case of corresponding implementations of the sanitary fitting according to the invention. Unless explicit reference is made below to the functional relationships of these optional components, it is understood by the person skilled in the art that there are no functional relationships between these optional components and these components are therefore, depending on the need and application, individually or in any combination in corresponding implementations of the sanitary fitting according to the invention can be present.
- This relates, for example, to an optional, releasable latching mechanism 9 for holding the insert plate 7 locked in place in the insertion slot 5.
- the insert plate 7 can thus be held securely in the insertion slot 5 and can be removed from the insertion slot 5 if necessary by releasing the latching mechanism 9.
- optional an ejection mechanism 10 for automatically moving the insert plate 7 out of its operating position in the insert shaft 5 after releasing the locking mechanism 9.
- Any conventional types can be used for the latching mechanism and for the ejection mechanism, such as are known per se, for example, in similar plate / card receiving systems, such as in memory card, bank card and SIM card systems.
- the sanitary fitting 1 can also include a water stop mechanism 11 for automatically opening and closing the water guide channel 2 when the insert plate 7 is inserted and removed into and from the insert shaft 5. This prevents water from accidentally escaping from the water channel 2, e.g. via the insertion slot 5 when the insertion plate 7 is removed from the insertion slot 5.
- the water stop mechanism 11 still allows a defined amount of water to escape and does not completely shut off the water guide channel 2.
- the absence of the insert plate 7 can hereby be indicated.
- Any type known per se can be used for the water stop mechanism 11.
- the water stop mechanism 11 can e.g. have a slide valve unit 11a which is elastically biased in the closing direction and actuated by the insertion plate 7 for opening and closing the water guide channel 2 upstream of the insertion shaft 5.
- the sanitary fitting according to the invention can also optionally have a clip mechanism 12 for holding the useful element 8 clipped onto the insert plate 7.
- the clip mechanism 12 can be of any conventional type and, depending on the need, can be implemented in an unsecured manner, or alternatively, in a non-releasable manner, or alternatively, in a releasable manner only for authorized users.
- the useful element can be removed from the insert plate 7 by any user by releasing the clip mechanism.
- the useful element cannot be removed from the insert plate 7 without being destroyed.
- the sanitary fitting 1 from Fig. 1 can be designed in any conventional fitting type, e.g. as a wall or ceiling-mounted overhead shower or as a side or hand shower for shower and bathtub fittings, as a basin mixer, as a bathtub mixer, as a kitchen sink mixer, e.g. also in the form of a kitchen pull-out spray, or as any other sanitary water outlet fitting that serves as an interface of a water supply to the user, ie has an outlet from which water emerges for use by the user.

- This first clip unit contains clip openings 12a in the insertion plate 7 and corresponding clip lugs 12b on the sieve element 8b.
- the first clip unit can be designed to be non-detachable or unsecured, or to be detachable only for authorized users.
- the clip openings 12a can act as deliberate leak openings, which form an associated water leak path when the water supply is activated, if the insertion plate 7 is positioned in the insertion shaft 5, for example, without the sieve element 8b or without the flow limiter element 8a.
- the sieve element 8b can also be used to hold the flow restrictor element 8a in position by acting as a cover for this, which prevents the flow restrictor element 8a from coming out of its receptacle in the insert plate 7.
- a second clip unit is provided, by means of which the flow limiter element 8a is held in a non-detachable or non-releasable manner, or can only be detachably clipped to the insertion plate 7 in an authorized manner.
- the insert plate 7 is shown with the useful element receptacle 7a still unoccupied, while in the other useful element receptacle 7b, for example, the flow limiter element 8a and the sieve element 8b according to FIG Fig. 8 are used.
- the two useful element receptacles 7a, 7b can, depending on the need and application, be coupled to the water conduit 2 in a fluidic manner in parallel or in series.
- the insert plate 7 can contain only one or more than two useful element receptacles instead of the two shown.
- the overhead shower design according to 2 to 19 can additionally be equipped with the optional latching mechanism 9 and the optional ejection mechanism 10, as shown.
- the releasable latching mechanism includes a latching recess 9a formed on the insert plate 7 and a latching control button 9c mounted on the shower housing 13 such that it can be tilted about a tilting axis 9d, on which there is a latching lug 9b which latches with the latching recess 9a cooperates.
- the latching lug 9b automatically enters the snap-in recess 9a as soon as the slide-in plate 7 has reached its operating position which is completely inserted into the slide-in slot 5.
- the user can release the latching by pressing the latching control button 9c by the latching lug 9b coming out of the latching recess 9a by the tilting movement of the latching button 9c.
- the overhead shower version is the 2 to 19 equipped with the optional ejection mechanism 10.
- this includes an ejection slide 10a, which is movably held on the shower housing 13 parallel to the card insertion direction S L and is supported on the shower housing 13 with the interposition of an ejection spring 10b, which corresponds to the ejection position for the insertion plate 7 10 to 14 preloaded.
- the front of the ejection slide 10a comes to rest against the rear narrow side of the insert plate 7 inserted into the insert shaft 5.
- the ejection mechanism 10 is tensioned in that the ejection slide 10a is pushed back against the force of the ejection spring 10b, which is exemplarily implemented as a tension spring.
- the ejection slide 10a pushes the insert plate 7 outward from its position fully inserted into the insert shaft 5 until the eject position is reached.
- a housing-side ejection stop 10d limits the forward movement of the ejection slide 10a and thus defines the ejection position in which the insert plate 7 is in accordance with FIGS 15 to 19 located. If the insert plate 7 has been automatically moved into the eject position in this way, it can then be completely removed from the insert shaft 5 by the user.
- the overhead shower realization of the 2 to 19 is also equipped with the optional water stop mechanism 11 for automatically opening and closing the water guide channel 2 when inserting and removing the insert plate 7 into and out of the insert shaft 5.

- the respective locking slide 11b has a guide cam 11d, which is guided in a corresponding axial groove 11e on the housing, the front boundary of which forms a stop for the locking slide 11b, so that this stop stops the water in the locking slide unit 11a according to FIGS 10 to 14 defines in which this keeps the water channel 2 closed.
- the closing slide unit 11a is in turn, like the ejecting slide 10a, elastically biased in the direction of its advanced closed position by means of a closing spring 11c implemented here as a helical compression spring, in which it shuts off the water duct 2 upstream of the insertion shaft 5.
- a closing spring 11c implemented here as a helical compression spring
- the slide-in plate 7 When the slide-in plate 7 is pushed into the slide-in shaft 5 beyond the water stop position and into the fully inserted operating position, it pushes the slide valve unit 11a back and thereby moves it from its closed position into its open position according to FIGS 2 to 9 .
- the insertion plate 7 has a nose 15 for pushing back the respective locking slide 11b and a receptacle 14 into which a front-side cam 11f of the respective locking slide 11b enters when the insertion plate 7 is inserted into the insertion slot 5, and from which this cam 11f automatically comes out when the insert plate 7 is moved further out of the insertion shaft 5 starting from the water stop position.
- the sanitary fitting 1 is a water outlet fitting 1a with a housing body 1b, on which the insertion shaft 5 is formed, in which case the water outlet fitting 1a forms a ceiling-mounted shower head 1d and the housing body 1b is again designed as a shower housing. More precisely, it is a ceiling-mounted overhead shower with a tubular shower housing 13c, which has a connector body 1d on an upper end face in the mounting position, which is set up for ceiling mounting and includes water inlet 3, among other things. At the lower end, the shower housing 13c, with the shower head connection 13b on the underside, supports the shower head 13f as a water outlet 4.

- the insertion shaft 5 is in turn formed in the shower housing 13c, in which case the insertion shaft 5 opens out with its insertion opening 6 on the circumference, ie on the lateral surface, of the tubular shower housing 13c.
- the insert plate 7 can thus be inserted laterally with a horizontal insertion direction S L into the horizontally lying insertion shaft 5.
- the insertion slot 5 is located in the lower end region of the shower housing 13c near the shower head connection 13b.
- the Fig. 20 , 23 and 24 show the ceiling-mounted overhead shower with the insertion plate 7 fully inserted into the insertion shaft 5 21 and 22 show the overhead shower with the insert plate 7 in the water stop position or in the ejection position according to the situation according to the 10 to 14 or 15 to 19 in the embodiment of 2 to 19 .

- the shower head 13f forming the water outlet 4 is coupled to the shower head connection 13b on the lower side of the shower housing 13e in the assembly position, in this embodiment, as in the other versions, the shower head 13f is preferably detachable, for example by means of a plug-in, latching or clip connection, can be fixed to the shower housing 13e.
- the water guide channel 2 extends from the water inlet 3 to the water outlet 4.
- the 27 and 28 show the ceiling shower shower 1e with the shower head 13f removed.
- the insertion shaft 5 again formed in the shower housing 13e and the associated insertion plate 7 can be seen.

This sanitary fitting comprises a water guide channel and an insertion shaft extending transversely into the water guide channel with a user-accessible insertion opening. Furthermore, it comprises an insert body, which contains at least one sanitary utility element, can be flowed through from one side to an opposite side in a flow area and can be inserted into the insertion slot via the insertion opening and can be moved out of the insertion slot. The insertion slot remains stationary in an operating position when the insertion body is inserted or moved out, and the insertion opening remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot. The insert body is positioned with its flow area in the water guide channel, and the useful element is in contact with the water guide channel when the insert body is in its operating position completely inserted into the insert shaft.
For sanitary water outlet fittings, e.g. Mixer fittings on washstands, bathtubs and kitchen sinks, it is known to typically attach cylindrical insert bodies with useful elements in the form of aerators, jet regulators, jet formers or sieves to a water outlet of an outlet housing body of the sanitary fitting by means of a detachable screw connection, so that the insert body can be removed and serviced if necessary or can be replaced by a new useful element.

The invention is based on the technical problem of providing a sanitary fitting of the type mentioned at the outset which has an insert body which is formed in an advantageous manner and is equipped with at least one interchangeable sanitary utility element.
The invention solves this problem by providing a sanitary fitting with the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims, the wording of which is hereby made part of the description by reference.
The sanitary fitting according to the invention has a water guide channel, a slide-in shaft extending transversely into the water guide channel with a user-accessible slide-in opening and, as slide-in body, a slide-in plate which contains at least one sanitary useful element and in which flow-through area can be flowed through from one side of the plate to the other, the slide-in plate being opposite its lateral plate dimension has a smaller plate thickness and can be inserted into the insertion slot in a lateral insertion direction via the insertion opening and can be moved out of the insertion slot against the insertion direction. The insertion slot remains stationary in an operating position when the insertion plate is inserted or moved out, and the insertion opening remains accessible to the user in the stationary operating position of the insertion slot. The insert plate is positioned with its flow area in the water guide channel and the useful element is in contact with the water guide channel when the insert plate is in its operating position completely pushed into the insert shaft. The insertion direction thus runs in a lateral direction of the insertion plate and transversely to a direction in which the water guide channel runs in the region of the insertion shaft extending transversely into it.
In this sanitary fitting according to the invention, the sanitary useful element can, when the sanitary fitting is in its operating position, e.g. mounted as a mixer tap on a washstand, kitchen sink or bath area or mounted on the wall or ceiling as a head or side shower tap in a bathroom or shower room, in a very simple way by inserting the insert plate into the desired position via the insert opening accessible to the user brought into the water channel and removed again if necessary without having to dismantle the sanitary fitting as a whole and without having to dismantle a part of the sanitary fitting containing the insertion shaft or remove or remove it from another fitting part. This simplifies associated maintenance work, in which the useful element must be removed from the water duct in order to e.g. reinsert after cleaning or replace with a new useful element. Any replacement of the useful element by a useful element of another type is also facilitated. There is also no need for a thread for the screwable attachment of the useful element. In addition, no tools are required for attaching and detaching the sanitary utility element.
The dimension of the insert plate is at least in its flow area in the thickness direction smaller than transverse to it, ie smaller than in the lateral directions perpendicular to it. The insert plate can in particular be implemented in the manner of a service card with a comparatively flat design in the flow direction, the thickness dimension in the flow direction being, for example, only about a third or a quarter or a fifth of the dimension in the direction perpendicular thereto or even less, i.e. the thickness of the The insert plate is then at most approx. 1/3, 1/4 or 1/5 or even less in relation to the minimum dimension of the insert plate in the transverse direction. Such a realization as a service card enables the insert plate to be used in comparatively low-profile sanitary fittings, such as plate-shaped overhead showers in shower rooms. In advantageous implementations, the insert plate has a rectangular or square shape, for example with a rectangular outer dimension, in an alternative embodiment any other shape, such as circular or oval etc. The slot has a corresponding shape, such as rectangular or a cuboid hollow shape or circular etc.
In a further development of the invention, the sanitary utility element is a sieve or a flow limiter or a shaped jet body or a water ventilation element or a water addition element. Disturbing particles can be retained with the sieve. This can e.g. be advantageous for showers which have relatively small shower jet outlet openings which are therefore susceptible to blockage by particles in the water flow. With the flow limiter, the flow of water through the water duct can be adjusted in a desired manner. With the molded jet body, a desired spray pattern can be provided for the water emerging from the sanitary fitting. The water aeration element can be used to aerate the water led through the water duct, i.e. enriched with supplied air. The water addition element can be used to add an additive to the water in the water duct, e.g. a cleaning agent, shower soap or other shower additive.
In a further development of the invention, the insert plate has a wedge shape with a decreasing thickness in the direction of flow in the direction of flow and contains a seal on a surface which is inclined in accordance with the wedge shape.
In a further development of the invention, the sanitary fitting has a releasable latching mechanism for holding the insert plate in the insert shaft in a latched manner. This represents an advantageous possibility of holding the insert plate in its operating position in the insert slot and, if necessary, removing it from the insert slot by releasing the latching mechanism.
In a further development of the invention, the sanitary fitting has a water stop mechanism for automatically opening and closing the water guide channel when inserting and removing the insert plate into and from the insert shaft. As a result, the water guide channel can be closed or closed automatically when the insert plate is removed from the insert shaft. This avoids unwanted water leaks e.g. out of the slot without the user having to operate a shut-off device himself. By pushing the slide-in plate into the slide-in shaft, the water stop mechanism automatically opens the water guide channel, so that again no separate actuation of a shut-off element for opening the water guide channel by the user is required.
In a further development of the invention, the sanitary fitting has an ejection mechanism for automatically moving the insert plate out of its operating position in the insert shaft after the locking mechanism has been released. The ejection mechanism ensures that when the user has released the locking mechanism, the insert plate moves at least a little out of its operating position in the insert slot, after which the user can completely remove the insert plate from the insert slot if necessary.
In a development of the invention, the water stop mechanism has a closing slide unit which is elastically biased in the closing direction and actuated by the insertion plate for opening and closing the water guide channel upstream of the insertion shaft. This enables the water guide channel to be shut off in a relatively simple manner when the insert plate is not inserted.
In a development of the invention, the sanitary fitting has a clip mechanism for holding the useful element clipped onto the insert plate. The clip element allows the useful element to be held securely on the insert plate, so that there is no danger that the useful element will fall out of the insert plate when the insert plate is handled. If necessary, the clip mechanism can be implemented as non-detachable and / or secured against unauthorized use. As a result, the insert plate can be secured against unauthorized manipulation if necessary.
In a further development of the invention, the insert plate has a plurality of useful elements which are arranged next to one another in a plate plane of the insert plate or one behind the other in a flow direction perpendicular thereto. Useful elements arranged next to one another are preferably flowed through in parallel by a respective partial flow of the water flowing in the water duct. Useful elements arranged one behind the other are preferably flowed through serially by the water flowing in the water guide channel.
In a development of the invention, the sanitary fitting is a water outlet fitting with a housing body on which the insertion shaft is formed. In this case, the insertion shaft is integrated in the housing body of the sanitary fitting, the water guide channel extending in the housing body. In corresponding designs, the housing body forms an outlet body with a water outlet from which the water emerges for use by the user.
In one embodiment of the invention, the slide-in plate has a rear end which is flush with the housing body of the water outlet fitting when the slide-in plate is in its operating position which is completely pushed into the slide-in shaft. This enables an optically inconspicuous integration of the insert plate into the design of the housing body of the water outlet fitting.
In one embodiment of the invention, the sanitary fitting is a shower or wall-mounted shower head with a shower head housing on which the insertion shaft is formed. In this case, the shower head forms a water outlet fitting and the shower head housing forms an associated housing body. The shower head can be mounted on a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom, whereby it projects at least with its shower head housing from the wall or ceiling area.
In a further development of the invention, the sanitary fitting is a shower shower built into the wall or ceiling, and the insertion shaft is arranged with the insertion direction running perpendicular to a wall or ceiling installation plane. In this case, the shower head is flush with a wall or ceiling area of a shower room or bathroom or recessed in the same, without projecting from this wall or ceiling area. Since the slide-in shaft is arranged with the slide-in direction running perpendicular to the wall / ceiling installation level, the slide-in plate can nevertheless be inserted very easily in order to bring the useful element or elements into their use position in the water duct, so that no surface-mounted component for inserting the slide-in plate for such Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted shower head is required.

The

The sanitary

This relates, for example, to an optional, releasable latching mechanism 9 for holding the
Optionally, the sanitary fitting 1 can also include a
The sanitary fitting according to the invention can also optionally have a

In the embodiment shown, the

As the exemplary embodiments shown and mentioned above make clear, the invention advantageously provides a sanitary fitting in which one or more sanitary useful elements can be inserted into or removed from a water duct of the sanitary fitting by means of an insert plate which can be inserted into an insertion shaft. The insert plate can function as a service card, with which the desired useful elements can be inserted into the water channel and thereby brought into contact with the water flowing there. In addition to the examples already mentioned, other components can be used as a sanitary utility element, depending on need and application, such as a ventilation element, an overpressure protection element, a water analysis element with test strips for determining water hardness, chlorine content, degree of turbidity, bacteria count and / or pH value, etc., a pulsator element with pressure pulsating membrane for generating a pulsating water jet, a sensor element for sensing desired physical parameters of the water, a scalding protection element, for example with a foldable bimetallic strip for temperature-dependent opening and closing of the water flow channel, a maintenance indicator element with a timer and / or sensor for indicating maintenance that is required, a filter element or a jet shaping element for providing a desired shower jet characteristic. The insert plate can also be used to store small parts that are required for the sanitary fitting.
Advantageously, several insert plates of the same type can be provided, which can optionally be inserted into the same insert shaft of a sanitary fitting in question and contain different useful elements, e.g. those with differently fine sieve elements or different filter elements or different sanitary functions.
