Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for winding a thread with a movable bobbin holder according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic device for winding a thread goes for example from the WO 2004/035446 A1 forth.
- the generic device for winding a thread is usually used in textile machines to continuously wind a thread into a bobbin.
- a tapering thread can be wound into a bobbin without interruption at the end of the process, if possible.
- the replacement of a full spool should be carried out as automatically as possible.
- the known winding device thus has a movable spool holder which holds the spool wound on a sleeve between two clamping plates. So that the bobbin held on the bobbin holder can be replaced by an empty tube, the wound thread must be separated from the full bobbin, continuously picked up during the bobbin change, and put on again to wind a new bobbin.
- the known winding device has an auxiliary device which is held on a pivotable carrier for thread guidance.
- the carrier holds a suction nozzle at a freely projecting end, which is connected to a suction device via a suction channel.
- a suction opening for receiving the thread is formed at the free end of the suction nozzle.
- slidable thread guides and a cutting device are arranged on the swivel arm, which cut and take over the thread and discharge the thread.
- the arm can be arranged in different positions relative to the spool holder.
- EP 1 428 783 A1 A device for winding a thread with a movable bobbin holder, which has two opposing clamping plates for tensioning a sleeve, with a drivable drive roller assigned to the bobbin holder and with a traversing device which has an oscillatingly driven thread guide (9), is known.
- An auxiliary device for guiding the thread when changing the bobbin is provided upstream of the drive roller in the thread path.
- the auxiliary device has a suction nozzle connected to a suction device with a suction channel,
- the invention is based on the knowledge that the thread guide during the bobbin change is essentially determined by the suction nozzle, which guides the thread at its suction end.
- the positioning of the suction nozzle to take over the thread after cutting the thread from the full bobbin and the transfer of the thread at the start of a new winding are decisive for the thread guidance.
- the direct connection of the suction nozzle to a rotary drive has the particular advantage that any position can be controlled precisely with the suction end of the suction nozzle. In particular, the safety when taking over the thread and when releasing the thread is significantly increased.
- the suction nozzle has a pipe curvature between the connection end and the suction end, a length section with the suction end being longer is as a longitudinal section with the connection end and the longitudinal section with the suction end is movable in the sense of a clockwise hand. This allows the suction end of the proboscis to be guided into the corresponding positions without additional drives. The suction end of the proboscis can be transferred to the different positions by the rotary drive like the end of a clock hand.
- the suction end of the suction nozzle can be positioned by the rotary drive between a rest position, a take-over position and a transfer position, wherein in the take-over position the suction nozzle is oriented transversely to the thread path of the incoming thread and in which Transfer position of the proboscis with the suction end is assigned to one of the clamping plates.
- the takeover of the thread is made possible in particular by the development of the invention, in which a cutting device is assigned to the suction end of the suction nozzle in the take-over position and is height-adjustable between a rest position and an operating position.
- the cutting device can thus already be arranged in the take-over position and can only be guided into the thread run by a height adjustment if necessary.
- the cutting device is preferably formed by a thread guide and a knife holder with a cutting edge, which are arranged at a distance from one another between the suction opening of the suction nozzle in the take-over position and the traversing thread guide. There is thus the possibility that the thread is guided into the cutting device solely by the movement of the traversing thread guide.
- the thread guide of the cutting device ensures that the thread is positioned directly in front of the suction opening of the suction nozzle.
- the development of the invention is preferably carried out, in which a cutting device is held at a distance from the suction opening at the suction end of the suction nozzle.
- the cutting device can be guided into the thread run by the movement of the suction nozzle.
- the cutting device has a thread guide edge which protrudes toward the suction opening and a V-shaped knife arrangement at the end of the thread guide edge, with a cutting notch of the knife arrangement being set back from the suction opening. This ensures that the thread end can be picked up immediately after cutting the thread in the suction opening at the suction end.
- the excellent thread guide edge of the cutting device also makes it possible for it to effortlessly get into the cutting notch, even if the thread changes.
- the suction nozzle at the suction end has a holder with at least one guide plate, which forms a thread guide edge for guiding the thread. So the suction end of the proboscis can take over additional thread guiding functions independent of the suction opening.
- Such guide functions can be further improved by the holder on the guide plate carrying a thread guide which has a separate thread guide groove for guiding the thread.
- the thread guide is held at a distance from the suction opening of the suction nozzle such that the suction opening of the suction nozzle and the thread guide span a straight thread run.
- the suction nozzle is therefore suitable for guiding a thread section of the incoming thread at the suction end.
- Such a thread section is therefore particularly suitable for being gripped by a rotating catching device.
- the development of the invention is particularly advantageous in which the length section of the suction nozzle with the suction end has such a length that in the takeover position of the suction end a thread section stretched between the suction opening and the thread guide wraps around a plate edge of the clamping plate.
- Clamping plates of this type preferably have catch tabs on the edge of the plate, which can thus easily pick up the thread from the proboscis.
- the further development of the invention is preferably carried out in which the holder on the suction end of the suction nozzle has the cutting device on one side of the suction opening and the guide plate on an opposite side of the suction opening carries the thread guide.
- the guide edge of the guide plate and the thread guide edge of the cutting device can advantageously cooperate in order to detect the running thread when the suction nozzle swings in.
- the development of the invention is particularly advantageous in which the suction nozzle has a guide notch at the suction end which penetrates the suction opening.
- the thread in the take-over position can be guided into the guide notch at the suction end of the suction nozzle, so that the ambient air entering at the suction end already acts on the thread.
- the rotary drive of the suction nozzle is formed by a stepper motor, the length section being rotatable clockwise and counterclockwise with the suction end. In this way, all movements of the proboscis can be carried out quickly, precisely and with high repeatability.
- the device according to the invention for winding a thread thus has the particular advantage that the bobbin changes can be carried out with recurring precision.

The invention relates to a device for winding a thread with a movable bobbin holder according to the preamble of
The generic device for winding a thread is usually used in textile machines to continuously wind a thread into a bobbin. For this purpose, it is customary that a tapering thread can be wound into a bobbin without interruption at the end of the process, if possible. In this respect, the replacement of a full spool should be carried out as automatically as possible. The known winding device thus has a movable spool holder which holds the spool wound on a sleeve between two clamping plates. So that the bobbin held on the bobbin holder can be replaced by an empty tube, the wound thread must be separated from the full bobbin, continuously picked up during the bobbin change, and put on again to wind a new bobbin. For this purpose, the known winding device has an auxiliary device which is held on a pivotable carrier for thread guidance. The carrier holds a suction nozzle at a freely projecting end, which is connected to a suction device via a suction channel. A suction opening for receiving the thread is formed at the free end of the suction nozzle. Furthermore, slidable thread guides and a cutting device are arranged on the swivel arm, which cut and take over the thread and discharge the thread. Here, the arm can be arranged in different positions relative to the spool holder.

By
In practice, attempts are now being made to change the bobbin in the shortest possible interruption times. In this respect, fast and precise movements of the auxiliary devices are required in order to achieve the shortest possible interruption times. In the known device for winding a thread, however, there is the problem that the auxiliary device is carried on the projecting end of a swivel arm and thus the swivel arm has a high mass inertia. However, this means that changes in position can only be made quickly and precisely to a limited extent. Powerful rotary actuators are also required to move the entire auxiliary device.
It is therefore an object of the invention to develop the generic device for winding a thread in such a way that the auxiliary device enables fast and precise thread guides.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a device for winding a thread with the features of
Advantageous developments of the invention are defined by the features and combinations of features of the respective subclaims.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the thread guide during the bobbin change is essentially determined by the suction nozzle, which guides the thread at its suction end. The positioning of the suction nozzle to take over the thread after cutting the thread from the full bobbin and the transfer of the thread at the start of a new winding are decisive for the thread guidance. The direct connection of the suction nozzle to a rotary drive has the particular advantage that any position can be controlled precisely with the suction end of the suction nozzle. In particular, the safety when taking over the thread and when releasing the thread is significantly increased.
In order that the positions provided in the device for taking over the thread and for dispensing the thread can be achieved in a simple manner, it is further provided that the suction nozzle has a pipe curvature between the connection end and the suction end, a length section with the suction end being longer is as a longitudinal section with the connection end and the longitudinal section with the suction end is movable in the sense of a clockwise hand. This allows the suction end of the proboscis to be guided into the corresponding positions without additional drives. The suction end of the proboscis can be transferred to the different positions by the rotary drive like the end of a clock hand.
The suction end of the suction nozzle can be positioned by the rotary drive between a rest position, a take-over position and a transfer position, wherein in the take-over position the suction nozzle is oriented transversely to the thread path of the incoming thread and in which Transfer position of the proboscis with the suction end is assigned to one of the clamping plates.
The takeover of the thread is made possible in particular by the development of the invention, in which a cutting device is assigned to the suction end of the suction nozzle in the take-over position and is height-adjustable between a rest position and an operating position. The cutting device can thus already be arranged in the take-over position and can only be guided into the thread run by a height adjustment if necessary.
The cutting device is preferably formed by a thread guide and a knife holder with a cutting edge, which are arranged at a distance from one another between the suction opening of the suction nozzle in the take-over position and the traversing thread guide. There is thus the possibility that the thread is guided into the cutting device solely by the movement of the traversing thread guide. The thread guide of the cutting device ensures that the thread is positioned directly in front of the suction opening of the suction nozzle.
In order to be able to take over the thread in the take-over position solely by the movement of the suction nozzle, the development of the invention is preferably carried out, in which a cutting device is held at a distance from the suction opening at the suction end of the suction nozzle. The cutting device can be guided into the thread run by the movement of the suction nozzle.
In order that the thread can be detected and cut automatically, it is provided that the cutting device has a thread guide edge which protrudes toward the suction opening and a V-shaped knife arrangement at the end of the thread guide edge, with a cutting notch of the knife arrangement being set back from the suction opening. This ensures that the thread end can be picked up immediately after cutting the thread in the suction opening at the suction end. The excellent thread guide edge of the cutting device also makes it possible for it to effortlessly get into the cutting notch, even if the thread changes.
To support and position the thread, the development of the invention is particularly advantageous, in which the suction nozzle at the suction end has a holder with at least one guide plate, which forms a thread guide edge for guiding the thread. So the suction end of the proboscis can take over additional thread guiding functions independent of the suction opening.
Such guide functions can be further improved by the holder on the guide plate carrying a thread guide which has a separate thread guide groove for guiding the thread.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the thread guide is held at a distance from the suction opening of the suction nozzle such that the suction opening of the suction nozzle and the thread guide span a straight thread run. The suction nozzle is therefore suitable for guiding a thread section of the incoming thread at the suction end.
Such a thread section is therefore particularly suitable for being gripped by a rotating catching device. In this respect, the development of the invention is particularly advantageous in which the length section of the suction nozzle with the suction end has such a length that in the takeover position of the suction end a thread section stretched between the suction opening and the thread guide wraps around a plate edge of the clamping plate. Clamping plates of this type preferably have catch tabs on the edge of the plate, which can thus easily pick up the thread from the proboscis.
In the variant of the invention in which the cutting device is carried by the suction nozzle, the further development of the invention is preferably carried out in which the holder on the suction end of the suction nozzle has the cutting device on one side of the suction opening and the guide plate on an opposite side of the suction opening carries the thread guide. The guide edge of the guide plate and the thread guide edge of the cutting device can advantageously cooperate in order to detect the running thread when the suction nozzle swings in.
In order to enable effective suction of the thread at the suction end of the suction nozzle with the lowest possible suction effect, the development of the invention is particularly advantageous in which the suction nozzle has a guide notch at the suction end which penetrates the suction opening. For example, the thread in the take-over position can be guided into the guide notch at the suction end of the suction nozzle, so that the ambient air entering at the suction end already acts on the thread.
According to a further advantageous development, the rotary drive of the suction nozzle is formed by a stepper motor, the length section being rotatable clockwise and counterclockwise with the suction end. In this way, all movements of the proboscis can be carried out quickly, precisely and with high repeatability.
The device according to the invention for winding a thread thus has the particular advantage that the bobbin changes can be carried out with recurring precision.
