Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bottle crate according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • beverage bottles are sold in smaller and more portable bottle containers, namely in bottle containers with usually four to eight bottles accommodated in them.
  • the most common are the so-called six-packs, i.e. bottle containers that hold six individual bottles.
  • Cardboard, but also plastic, is mostly used as the material for such bottle containers.
  • bottle crates are increasingly being made available on the beverage market, both for the transport of individual bottles and for the reception of such bottles
  • Multiple containers, especially six-packs, are equipped. This is mainly because when boxes for the delivery of six-packs and the like are delivered, it is expedient to use the same box for the return transport of the empty individual bottles in the way of conventional deposit systems.
  • Boxes of this type for accommodating individual bottles or multiple containers are usually fitted with quills in the interior of the box, with a quill in each case in the corner regions of the boxes being arranged centrally between four bottle compartments or storage spaces for individual bottles.
  • quills in the interior of the box
  • support-threshold-like projections are provided in the interior of the box in addition to the quills, which are sometimes also used as half-quills.
  • threshold-like support projections serve to hold the empty bottles set for the return transport, which are held either by the quills or such threshold-like support projections (cf. approximately WO 2010/055204 A1 ). More quill boxes are from the DE 102004038615 A1 and the DE 7819399 U1 known.
  • the multi-bottle containers set in such a bottle crate are usually held by the engagement of quills arranged in the center between four parking spaces, which dip into corresponding openings in the bottom of the multi-container, in particular six-packs, so that these quills, when the six-packs are set, between the bottles accommodated in the multi-container are arranged.
  • Such a hold over quills is also problematic when carrying such boxes by hand.
  • Bottle crates are known according to the preamble of claim 1 for the optional setting of individual bottles and multiple containers, in which specially shaped partition wall sections are provided for holding the bottles, the cranking at both endings either in the form of T-shaped crosspieces with inwardly inclined legs or Y -Have hollow profiles.
  • bottle crates are known which are equipped with quills in the crossing area of adjacent bottle receiving compartments (cf. EP 094 530 A2 , DE 103 13 618 A1 ).
  • the object of the invention is to provide bottle crates which are equipped both for the setting of individual bottles and multi-bottle containers, such as six-packs and the like, and thereby prevent set individual bottles from striking against one another by simple structural measures and at the same time enable stable reception of such multi-bottle containers.
  • each bottle storage space of a bottle crate is laterally delimited by at least one side wall of the crate and / or by at least two support members which are arranged on the longitudinal and transverse sides of each storage space.
  • the construction of such a box has the result that individual bottles inserted into the bottle receiving compartments are securely held on all four sides, which reduces the risk of the inserted bottles colliding.
  • preferably at the parking spaces which are arranged inside the box and not adjacent to the box side walls preferably four supporting members arranged perpendicular to each other are used, which thus hold bottles set from four sides.
  • two support members are used for the corner-side parking spaces and three support elements are used for the other parking spaces arranged at the box edge, so that a stop at both the parking spaces arranged adjacent to the side walls is guaranteed by the side walls of the box as well as by support members arranged inside the box.
  • these support members which are arranged on the bottom of the box and protrude upwards, are arranged at a distance from one another and are therefore isolated from one another by intermediate distances and are therefore arranged alone and form the corresponding bottle receiving compartments between them. Because of this isolated arrangement or standalone arrangement of these support members both with an intermediate distance to the box walls and with an intermediate section to the adjacent support members, it is also possible to set multi-bottle containers, the support members immersing in corresponding openings in the bottom of the multi-bottle containers. This results in a very stable anchoring of the set multi-bottle containers by means of a plurality of support members which reach into the multiple containers and between the bottles received there.
  • seven support members are present which plunge into corresponding bottom openings when the container is set, so that the set container is fixed by means of a total of seven support elements, for example, and thus also during the transport of a bottle crate with received containers be kept safe in it.
  • the individual bottles are kept at a distance from one another, so that noises caused by bottles hitting each other are largely reduced.
  • the support members are preferably provided with through openings in the center.
  • the bottles which are usually thicker with a lower bottle belly than the upper bottle neck, can dip somewhat into the through openings and thus into the support members, which favors the hold of the set bottles by the support members, in particular by positive locking.
  • the support members which delimit the bottle receiving compartments are arranged one behind the other, both in longitudinal rows parallel to the longitudinal walls and in transverse rows running perpendicular thereto, parallel to the transverse walls, each preferably in a row in a common plane.
  • the support members per parking space are aligned perpendicular to each other and thus provided on all four sides of each parking space inside the box, on two sides at the box corners and on three sides at the parking spaces, which are otherwise arranged adjacent to the box side walls.
  • the support members have two opposite longitudinal webs which project upward from the ground and which expediently delimit the passage opening between them.
  • the support members it is advisable to use the support members to be formed by support brackets which are open towards the bottom, in particular U, V or C-shaped support brackets.
  • U, V or C-shaped support brackets As a result, two longitudinal bars are available for holding the set bottles on each side of a parking space, which ensures a good and stable hold of the set bottles, in particular the avoidance of rattling noises caused by bottles hitting each other.
  • the formation of the support members in such a way that they taper towards the top is particularly suitable for setting containers.
  • Such support members expediently have a thickness in the upper region of 0.3 to 1.5, preferably 0.3 to a maximum of 1 mm, which facilitates the immersion of the support members when setting the containers.
  • the containers are set due to the tapered upper region of the support members when the container is inserted, the bottles received in the container are pressed apart, with the result that the stable reception of the containers in the bottle crate is promoted and the setting of the containers is also facilitated.
  • the opposite end faces of support members in particular the opposite end faces of each crossbar, with a particularly round inward curve in adaptation to the bottle belly of the bottles to be adjusted.
  • the rounding on the two end faces of each support member between the two longitudinal legs of the support member, in particular in the region of the crosspiece, and expediently between the two longitudinal legs.
  • the longitudinal webs with inwardly projecting ribs as stop shoulders which limit the insertion of inserted bottles into the through openings of the support members, so that the bottles placed in adjacent compartments cannot come into contact with one another.
  • the support members are connected to an essentially horizontal crossbar.
  • the transverse webs are provided on their upper edge with a downwardly shaped, preferably rounded downward indentation.
  • the longitudinal webs protrude with their upper ends over the transverse web.
  • the upper ends of the longitudinal webs taper, in particular if they are tapered at their upper front ends, so that they form plug-in tips which make it easier to put on or put on a packaging carton.
  • the bottle crate can expediently be made together with the support members in one piece from plastic, in particular by injection molding from plastic.
  • These can then be used separately in complementary openings in the bottom of a bottle crate, preferably with a plug seat.
  • a stop shoulder is preferably provided in the lower region of the longitudinal webs, which can be flange-shaped.
  • a downwardly extending plug-in part in particular in the form of a circumferential plug-in apron, is provided at the lower end of the stop shoulder.
  • the two longitudinal webs can also extend into this, resulting in an overall very rigid construction of the support members.
  • the support members can be designed as a solid profile or as a hollow profile, and in the case of the hollow profile formation, the hollow profiles can advantageously be formed by gas or water injection.
  • partial walls can be provided in the box, which subdivide the compartment interior of a bottle crate formed from four circumferentially arranged side walls into at least two areas.
  • these partial walls also serve to support the set individual bottles and the six-packs from the side.
  • a box can advantageously be divided into two halves by a continuous partial wall.
  • Corresponding multiple packs can be set in each half of the box for the bottles and six storage spaces in a row with a total capacity of 24 bottles, here in particular three 4-packs or one 8-pack and 4-pack for each half.
  • Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a corner area of a bottle crate 2, only partially shown, which in the usual way shows a crate bottom 4 and circumferentially arranged side walls 6.
  • the side walls 6 are shown in the illustration Fig. 1 only shown with shortened side walls to better illustrate the facial expressions of support members provided in the box interior, which are arranged on the box bottom 4.
  • the side walls are higher, i.e. in the case of a so-called low side box, the side walls would have approximately the height of the support members described below, and in the preferred application of high side boxes a side wall height that is higher than the bottles or containers to be placed in the boxes .
  • the in Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a corner area of a bottle crate 2, only partially shown, which in the usual way shows a crate bottom 4 and circumferentially arranged side walls 6.
  • the side walls 6 are shown in the illustration Fig. 1 only shown with shortened side walls to better illustrate the facial expressions of support members provided in
  • bottle crate for optionally holding individual bottles as well as bottle containers, such as six-packs or the like, that is to say containers which in each case hold a group of bottles in particular in a cardboard packaging.
  • bottle containers often also called multi-packs, can hold four, six, eight or even more bottles, although six-packs are the most common bottle containers.
  • Such multiple or multi-bottle packs are usually formed from cardboard, but packs which are made from plastic films are also used.
  • the Indian Fig. 1 The bottle crate shown here is used, for example, to hold six packs as well as to hold single bottles, for which purpose a number of support members 8 are arranged on the crate bottom 4 or the supporting surface of the crate. These support members 8 form bottle parking spaces 10 between themselves but also between the longitudinal or transverse side walls 2a, 2b.
  • Fig. 1 In order to better represent the inclusion of a bottle in the manner of a six-pack, in Fig. 1 the contact area 12 of a bottle container set in such a box is shown in dashed lines, the dashed lines depicting, as it were, the floor plan of the bottom of such a six-pack.
  • the container provided for receiving a six-pack results in six bottle setting positions 10a to 10f, that is, six setting positions 10.
  • the corner area of a bottle crate shown is provided with a total of seven support members 8, namely formed from support members 8a, 8b and 8c arranged in series one behind the other, which extend in the middle of the contact surface 12 for the container and parallel to the longitudinal wall 2a.
  • support members 8d, 8e, 8f and 8g are again provided in relation to the contact surface 12 for receiving a six-pack, in two rows with two support members 8 each, these support members 8d to 8g parallel to the transverse walls 2b and thus are aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal walls 2a.
  • the support members located in rows are each arranged along a common plane, in one plane either parallel to the transverse wall or parallel to the longitudinal wall.
  • the support members 8 are in each case arranged on the sides of the parking spaces 10 and delimit corresponding storage spaces 10 with one another and / or with the longitudinal and transverse walls, which serve to accommodate individual bottles, which are additionally supported by the support elements 10 and in a side arrangement by the longitudinal and transverse walls are supported. It goes without saying that each longitudinal row of support members and each transverse row of support members of course far more than that in the partial representation of a bottle crate Fig. 1 Support members shown in the appropriate orientation, which depends solely on the size and capacity for receiving bottles and containers of the bottle crate.
  • the support members 8 are each arranged alone on the box base 4, namely isolated from one another by intermediate distances. This is because the support members engage in appropriately provided slot-like openings in the base of the container when setting a container and, moreover, the side walls of the container must have space between adjacent support members, so that they can be set accordingly in the bottle crate.
  • several longitudinal rows and transverse rows each with support members arranged one behind the other, are arranged parallel to the longitudinal walls and transverse walls.
  • the support members arranged on the sides of the bottle parking spaces 10 each have a through opening 14 in the central region, into which a small part of the bottle inserted into a bottle receiving compartment formed by a parking space engages, so that it is held by the support members 8 accordingly is.
  • the through openings 14 here extend from the top of the floor up to the upper region of the support members 8.
  • the support members shown are expediently designed in the form of a support bracket 16, which according to Fig. 1 open towards the bottom 4, is formed from two longitudinal legs in the form of longitudinal webs 17 and a transverse web 18, which connects the upper ends of the two longitudinal webs 17 to one another.
  • the longitudinal webs 17 extend vertically upwards from the floor 4, which is not, however, the brackets can also be V-shaped or C-shaped, with the result that the longitudinal webs are directed obliquely inwards at a small angle can be arranged.
  • the support members 8 formed in this way extend from the floor upwards at a height which preferably corresponds to approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the height of the bottles to be adjusted.
  • the support members 8 have at their respective end faces aligned with the parking space 10 an inwardly directed flat curvature 20, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is essentially formed in the region of the transverse webs 18 and thus in particular between the opposite longitudinal webs 16 of the support members.
  • the curve is expediently adapted to the bottle belly of the bottle to be adjusted and makes it easier to insert the bottles.
  • the support members 8 taper upwards, that is, towards the upper edge of the crosspieces 18, which on the one hand facilitates the insertion of the individual bottles to be adjusted, but on the other hand also the immersion of the support members 8 in the corresponding openings in the bottom of the reusable containers, which in the bottle crate must be adjusted.
  • the respective end faces of the support members 8 facing the parking spaces form a semicircular, vertically upwardly extending profile for the bottle adjustment.
  • the U-shaped support brackets resemble the shape of a Gothic arch.
  • the support bracket can be in the form of a rectangular semi-arch instead of an arch shape.
  • Other configurations of the support members are also possible.
  • the longitudinal webs 17 and the crossbar 18 can each be designed as a solid wall profile or as a material saving as a hollow profile, which would then be open downwards in particular to facilitate the manufacture of such a bottle crate by injection molding from plastic.
  • the bottle crate bottom 4 it is also expedient for the bottle crate bottom 4 to have an opening 22 in the region of the support bracket 16, in particular between the two longitudinal legs, which are provided for corresponding mold cores.
  • this also results in an open structuring of the bottle crate bottom 4, with how Fig. 1 shows, an opening can also be provided in the middle of the parking space, which results in a corresponding material saving for the bottle crate.
  • each support member 8 have on their opposite end faces inwardly projecting ribs 24, which limit the grip of the set bottles.
  • the webs can also have further ribs for the purpose of stiffening, which can be arranged over the circumference.
  • these support members form 8 spacers between the bottles to be set and support the set individual bottles in such a way that the bottle diameters of the set bottles do not touch each other and thus a knocking of the bottles during transport and the associated noise can be prevented.
  • the support members are expediently reduced up to a minimum wall thickness, to wall thicknesses preferably in the range between 0.3 mm and 1.5 mm, expediently 0.3 to 1.0 mm, facilitates the insertion of the bottles. This also affects the setting of the six-packs, because the spacers push the bottles apart a little.
  • the contour of the support bracket with longitudinal webs, rounding in the crossbar and central access opening adapts to a certain extent to the diameter the bottle to be adjusted, especially its bottle belly, so that the inserted bottles are held very well by the support members.
  • the support members thus serve on the one hand as a spacer for the bottles to be adjusted but also as supports for the reusable containers to be adjusted, as is evident Fig. 1 clearly shows where the riot floor of another six-pack is also shown in dashed lines at the bottom right.
  • the support members are arranged in the central region of the sides of the bottle parking spaces 10, preferably over a width between 2/5 and half the width of a side wall surface, in particular a width between 1/2 and 2/3 of the side of each parking space 10 Fig. 1 shows, the support members 8 expediently taper towards the top, which makes it easier to insert the bottle containers, since the support members 8 engage in corresponding cutouts or openings in the bottom of the bottle containers when the containers are set.
  • Fig. 2 shows purely exemplary and in a purely schematic representation a top view of a portion of the bottle crate analog Fig. 1 , with the rectangle border in Fig. 2 should only schematically represent a partial area of the bottom 4.
  • the support members 8a to 8g for a six-pack holder. Again, this is only exemplary, because the mimin shown would of course also be equipped with a corresponding modification of the arrangement of the support members for four-fold packs and eight-fold packs and the like.
  • Fig. 2 shows very clearly the taper of the support members upwards and also the two-sided and inward curves 20 on the two opposite end faces of each support member, shown here on the support member 8a.
  • the slimming of the longitudinal webs and the upward tapering towards a thin transverse web 18 can be clearly seen, which forms, so to speak, an immersion tip for the adjusting bottle containers.
  • FIG. 3 Also from Fig. 3 is the upward tapering formation of the support members as well as the two opposite curves for each support member, shown here on the centrally arranged support member 8b, wherein Fig. 3 the left corner of the bottle crate analog Fig. 1 represents.
  • Fig. 1 shows Fig. 3 a box with an open textured bottom.
  • the inwardly projecting ribs 24 are clearly recognizable on the opposite longitudinal legs of each support member, here in particular in relation to the support member 8d.
  • the longitudinal limbs of the support members which are curved here, have a T-profile in cross section.
  • Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of a bottle crate with corresponding facial expressions of the previous figures, but now with a central subdivision of the crate by a centrally provided partition wall 26, which is also provided with a central handle 28 in the illustrated embodiment. It goes without saying that this is of course not mandatory, as the perspective representation in Fig. 4 readily recognizable, there are corresponding handle openings 30 on the two opposite narrow side walls that serve to carry the box.
  • the in Fig. 4 shown box with the facial expressions according to the previous figures is used to hold four six-packs and thus to hold a total of 24 bottles.
  • the partial wall 26 serves as a side wall for the four compartments for the adjustment of the six-packs, and thus has the same supporting function as the side walls 6 of the box.
  • the partial wall 26 is parallel to the two longitudinal side walls 6 and divides the box into two oblique halves, two six-packs each being able to be accommodated.
  • the facial expressions of the support members shown are also the inclusion of three four-packs per half of the crate or the inclusion of an 8-pack and a 4-pack in each half of the crate due to the support links arranged crosswise to one another and laterally at the bottle insertion points.
  • Fig. 5 shows an expedient embodiment of a support member 8.
  • the support member 8 is, as is readily possible
  • Fig. 5 shows, designed as a U-shaped support bracket 16 and, in this respect, has two longitudinal webs 17 which stand vertically in the example shown and which delimit the passage opening 14 between them.
  • Fig. 5 shows clearly a variant with oppositely arranged web-like ribs 24, which protrude from the two longitudinal webs 17 approximately in the middle towards the passage opening 14 and stop shoulders in the illustrated embodiment limit, which prevent the bottle bellies from reaching through inserted bottles. It goes without saying that if these mutually directed ribs 24 are omitted, the longitudinal webs 17 also serve as stop shoulders for the inserted bottles and prevent contact between bottles which are set in adjacent bottle insertion positions.
  • Fig. 5 also shows the curvature 20 in the end face of the support member 8 and the tapering of the support member upward, so that, so to speak, above, that is, at the upper edge of the support member 8, an immersion tip for receiving the container by the support member is formed.
  • Out Fig. 5 further ribs can also be seen on the outer surface of the longitudinal webs, which are designated by 30 and serve to reinforce the longitudinal webs 17.
  • Fig. 6 shows a variant of a support member in the form of a U-shaped support bracket 8 with an arcuate transverse web 18, which connects the two substantially vertical longitudinal webs 16 to each other in an arc.
  • the curve 20 in the upper region of the support member, namely here on the crosspiece 18, can also be seen.
  • FIGS. 7 to 9 show a further preferred embodiment of a support member according to the invention for a bottle crate in the context of the invention, wherein the same components with the same reference numerals as in the previous embodiment are described.
  • This embodiment is particularly suitable for accommodating multi-bottle packs made of cardboard.
  • the support member 8 is in the form of an essentially H-shaped support bracket and is formed with two upright or vertically standing longitudinal webs 17 which are arranged at a distance from one another and are arranged parallel to one another in the exemplary embodiment shown and which can delimit a passage opening 14 between them .
  • the two longitudinal webs 17 are connected to one another in the region of their upper end, specifically above the access opening 14, by means of a transverse web 18, the lower edge of which is expediently designed to correspond to the upper end of the access opening 14, here in particular rounded, and the upper edge 30 of which is followed by one rounded recess is provided, as can be seen quite clearly Figure 8 results.
  • the downward bulging, curved upper edge of the crosspiece 18 and thus preferably the crosspiece 18 tapers towards the center of the crosspiece, which in turn makes it easier to put on a multi-bottle packaging made of cardboard in particular.
  • the longitudinal webs 17 are formed as a substantially U-shaped profiles, which has advantages with regard to stiffening these longitudinal webs.
  • hollow profiles could also optionally be provided.
  • the box in one piece, in particular by injection molding from plastic. If necessary, however, as with the preceding exemplary embodiments, it is possible for the support members to be inserted separately with a snug fit into complementary openings in the box bottom.
  • the box can be manufactured separately from the support members by injection molding from plastic and the support members can be inserted subsequently, preferably with a tight fit. This enables the replacement of damaged support members.
  • a stop flange here an oval stop flange 34
  • the flange is provided below with an apron 36 as a plug-in part.
  • the longitudinal webs 17 expediently extend into the plug-in part projecting downward, here in the form of an apron 36. This results in a stable plug-in part 36 which can be inserted with a tight fit into complementary openings in the base of the box and can therefore be replaced and thus replaced in the event of damage.
