Claims (8)
- A method for producing a sealing tape comprising the steps of:- providing a foam carrier (2) and transporting it at least temporarily in a predetermined transport direction (T),- applying a coating (14) to a first surface (2a) of the foam carrier;- cutting said foam carrier into at least two and preferably a plurality of strips (22, 24, 26, 28);- displacing and/or offsetting at least some of the cut strips with respect to each other in such a way that their side surfaces along which the cuts have been made become accessible for the application of a self-adhesive;- applying a self-adhesive to a further surface (22b, 24b) of the individual strips.
- The method according to claim 1,
