Claims (10)
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) destiné à un projectile (2) comprenant un sabot (3) et un empennage (4), dans lequel le pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) est massif et divisé sur sa longueur, de sorte que le pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) est séparé en une partie formant base (11) et une partie formant coiffe (12) reliées l'une à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'une liaison par complémentarité de forme et/ou de force pour laquelle la partie formant base (11) et la partie formant coiffe (12) disposent respectivement d'une interface (14, 18), dans lequel la partie formant coiffe (12) est une pointe de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17) pouvant être sélectionnée parmi une pluralité de pointes de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17) de différentes longueurs afin de constituer le pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10), et dans lequel la partie formant base (11) forme un pénétrateur de base raccourci, dans lequel le pénétrateur de base (11) et la pointe de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17) sont des modules qui forment le pénétrateur à énergie cinétique par coiffage avec la pointe de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17), caractérisé en ce que la liaison est mise en œuvre sous la forme d'une liaison à baïonnette.
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'interface (14) du pénétrateur (10) est mise en place au niveau de sa région antérieure (13).
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'un adhésif assurant la liaison est utilisé.
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que le pénétrateur de base (12) ainsi que les pointes de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17) peuvent être constitués de métaux denses à base de tungstène, de carbure de tungstène, d'acier à haute résistance, de cuivre, d'uranium appauvri ou de tantale.
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que les pointes de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17) et le pénétrateur de base (12) sont constitués de matériaux différents.
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la pointe de pénétrateur (16) est munie d'au moins un point de rupture théorique (16.1).
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisé en ce que la pointe de pénétrateur (17) peut être renforcée, dans lequel le renforcement n'intervient que dans la région antérieure de pointe (17.1).
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce que le verrouillage par complémentarité de force dépend du rapport entre l'interface (14) du pénétrateur de base (11) et la longueur de la pointe de pénétrateur (15, 16, 17), dans lequel il est suffisant que la longueur de l'interface (14) du pénétrateur de base (11) représente 50 % du diamètre du pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10).
- Pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'il est possible de faire correspondre le pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) à la cible sur site.
- Projectile (2) comprenant un pénétrateur à énergie cinétique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9.
