The present invention specifically relates to a room door with a door hinge. The door hinge must therefore be able to absorb the weight and leverage forces exerted by a door leaf. A corresponding door leaf usually has an area of at least one square meter and a weight of at least 10 kg.

In practice, too, when a door is used to close a passage, the user is exposed to considerable stress, with the door being used and visible from both sides.

Against this background, the door hinge must on the one hand have sufficient stability, while on the other hand an inconspicuous appearance of the door hinge is often required so that the door formed from a door leaf, a door frame and usually at least two door hinges fits well into a surrounding wall surface and has a high-quality appearance .

The invention relates in particular to room doors with door hinges which are arranged at least partially covered, the frame part being provided to be inserted laterally into a reveal of the door frame.

From the US 2015/0 259 960 A1 a door hinge is known which is used in the form of a concealed hinge, in particular in vehicle doors.

From the U.S. 2,570,479 a generic room door is known.

A similar hinge is also from the DE 101 64 979 B4 known. The door hinge is used as a concealed door hinge in the narrow side of a door leaf and the reveal side of a door frame and is not visible when the door is closed. The two hinge brackets are each guided at one of their ends to be rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation and at their other end to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable. Furthermore, the two hinge brackets are joined to the ends by a further central section vertical axis of rotation connected to each other. The result is a 5-axis joint arrangement in which two of the joint axes are additionally guided along connecting links.

The door hinge is characterized by a stable construction and good usage properties. So that the connecting links can be formed on the leaf part and on the frame part, they must have a sufficient size, and a sufficient receiving frame must also be available on the door frame and on the door leaf.

From the EP 2 374 976 A1 a two-part door frame with a profiled base frame and a cover frame each made of aluminum is known, the base frame and the cover frame have at least one overlapping opening for receiving an internal hinge system with a possible opening angle of 180 °.

From the DE 43 41 422 A1 a concealed hinge for furniture is known which has a 4-axis joint construction. A furniture door is fastened to a furniture body with the concealed hinge, a body part of the concealed hinge being placed on the furniture body. Since the interior of the furniture body is covered when the furniture door is closed, the body part can be placed visibly. The 4-axis hinge arrangement is intended to initially lift the furniture door sufficiently from the furniture body during an opening movement before the furniture door is brought into a maximum opening position by a further rotation. The opening angle is typically around 90 °. Starting from the body part, the two hinge brackets rotate in a first direction of rotation, while a frame part of the pressure hinge then turns in the opposite direction to the hinge brackets Direction rotates in a second direction of rotation. With regard to the respective reference points, the result is an opposite rotation, so that the opening angle of the furniture door also remains limited to approximately 90 °.

In contrast to a 4-axis hinge arrangement known from the furniture sector, the two hinge brackets in the room door according to the invention are received on the sash part and on the frame part around assigned frame part axes or sash part axes in such a way that the hinge brackets move in a first direction of rotation and the sash part relative to the frame part also turn in the first direction of rotation in relation to the hinge bracket. In a simplified view, the pivot angles that result from the hinge bracket on the one hand with respect to the frame part and on the other hand with respect to the sash part add up, so that the opening angle of at least 135 ° provided for the door can be achieved in a maximum opening position. The opening angle is preferably between 170 ° and 185 °, in particular approximately 180 °, until the maximum opening position is reached. In the context of such an embodiment, the door leaf can be pivoted completely open so that it then runs parallel to the wall surface again, which laterally adjoins the door frame on the hinge side.

In order to achieve such a large opening angle with the most compact possible construction of the door hinge, the hinge brackets are U-shaped. Here, the first and the second hinge bracket are each connected at their ends to the frame part axis and the wing part axis and have the U-shape between their ends at a central section.

If the U-shape is only slightly pronounced, the range of motion of the hinge bracket is severely restricted. In order to evaluate the U-shape, the distance between the two ends of each of the two hinge brackets can be compared with the depth resulting at the middle section.

According to a suitable geometric definition, it is provided in this context that, starting from a first connecting line between the first wing part axis and the first frame part axis, the greatest distance perpendicular to the first connecting line up to the central section is at least 0.5 times the determined distance for the first hinge bracket Distance between the first frame part axis and the first wing part axis is. Correspondingly, it is provided for the second hinge bracket that, starting from a second connection line between the second wing part axis and the second frame part axis, the greatest distance perpendicular to the second connection line up to the central section is at least 0.5 times the distance between the second frame part axis and the second wing part axis is.

The greatest distance to be determined perpendicular to the respective wing axis is to be determined in each case up to the surface of the hinge bracket, that is to say up to the inside of the U-shape. Due to the U-shape, the hinge brackets, starting from their ends, are initially led away from the fastening axes, that is to say the frame part axes and the wing part axes.

Die US 2 570 579 und die US 1 382 654 A lehren eine gattungsgemäße Zimmertür, wobei das Türband mittels Verschraubungen in Ausnehmungen an dem Türflügel und der Türzarge befestigt sind. The U.S. 2,570,579 and the U.S. 1,382,654 A teach a generic room door, the door hinge being fastened by means of screw connections in recesses on the door leaf and the door frame.

Proceeding from the prior art, the present invention is based on the object of specifying a room door, the door hinge being particularly compact and suitable for doors with a door leaf made of glass.

The subject of the invention and the solution to the problem is a room door according to claim 1.

For this purpose, the leaf part has a clamping arrangement for receiving the door leaf. A door leaf in the form of a sufficiently stable glass pane can then be fastened to the leaf part in a simple manner in a clamping manner, without further openings, openings or connections being formed in the door leaf. Such a clamping arrangement enables the door leaf to be positioned in the door frame even after it has been released, it being possible for the door leaf to be adjusted both in the first horizontal direction and in a vertical direction in relation to its closed position. The clamping arrangement is preferably provided with at least one sloping section. This allows the clamping force to be additionally increased under load.
In order to stabilize the 4-axis joint arrangement in the maximum open position, it is provided according to the invention that in the open position at least one of the joint brackets rests against a stop surface of the wing part. According to a preferred embodiment, however, one of the hinge brackets can also rest against a stop surface of the frame part and / or of the wing part in the closed position.

Thus, in the maximum open position, the first hinge bracket rests against a first stop surface of the wing part, while, for example, in the closed position the second hinge bracket rests against a second stop face of the wing part.

In the closed position, the leaf part and the frame part are preferably arranged next to one another in a first horizontal direction, with the door leaf also running with its two opposite outer surfaces along the first horizontal direction when the door is closed. The first frame part axis and the second frame part axis are then offset from one another along the first horizontal direction, with no or only a slight offset being provided perpendicular thereto in a second horizontal direction.

A second horizontal direction corresponds to the thickness direction of the door leaf. The first wing part axis and the second wing part axis are offset from one another along the second horizontal direction, with either no or only a slight offset being provided with respect to the first wing part axis and the second wing part axis along the first horizontal direction x.

The door leaf is usually attached to the door frame with at least two door hinges, it being possible for the door hinges to be of the same design. The following explanations therefore relate as an example to the arrangement of one of several door hinges on the room door.

In the closed position of the door hinge, the door frame can have a mirror section aligned parallel to the door wing and a soffit running perpendicular to it and laterally adjoining the door wing, the soffit having a first soffit section starting from the mirror section and a second soffit section adjoining it via an inwardly directed step having.

The mirror section thus extends along the first horizontal direction and the vertical direction, while the reveal section - except for the offset along the first horizontal direction at the step - extends along the second horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The step preferably forms a stop for the door leaf, and a conventional door seal can also be arranged on the step.

The frame part is preferably inserted into an opening in the reveal, so that the frame part is arranged partially covered. In particular, the opening can extend from the first reveal section into the second reveal section, so that the area of the step can then also be used for the arrangement of the frame part.

According to a preferred development, it can be provided that a separate cover part is arranged on the frame part, which has a step corresponding to the shape of the reveal, so that a first cover section of the cover part is at least substantially flush with the first reveal section and a second cover section at least in Connect essentially flush with the second reveal section.

In order to enable adaptation to different frame shapes, different cover parts and / or adjustable cover parts can be provided if necessary.

In order to enable a compact construction of the door hinge, according to a further development of the invention, a recess starting from the reveal can be provided in the mirror section in the area of the door hinge. The joint brackets can then pivot into this recess during an opening movement.

As part of such an embodiment, a part of the recess can be filled by a cover bracket arranged on the frame part of the door hinge, which further stabilizes the edge of the recess and in particular can also be used as a support for a panel that is placed on the wing part.

If the frame part is inserted into the reveal as described and the mirror section also has a recess extending from the reveal in the area of the door hinge, there is no uniformly continuous gap. While a lateral gap remains between the door leaf and the first reveal section above and below the door hinge, the leaf part is located on the side of the door leaf in this gap area, especially when the door leaf is made of glass. It is then advisable to cover the sash part with a cover so that there are no longer any gaps in the area of the door hinge.

The Fig. 1 shows a section of a room door with a door frame 1, a door wing 2 and a door hinge 3. The door wing 2 is usually supported on the door frame 1 via at least two door hinges 3, the Fig. 1 shows one of the two identically designed door hinges 3.

Already from the Fig. 1 and in particular the horizontal sections according to FIG Figures 3 to 5 it can be seen that the door hinge has a 4-axis joint arrangement. Specifically, the door hinge 3 has a first hinge bracket 4, which is arranged in a vertical direction Z between a second hinge bracket 5 and a third hinge bracket 6.

The second hinge bracket 5 and the third hinge bracket 6 are of identical design and are also rotatably connected in the same way to a frame part 7 and a wing part 8 of the door hinge 3. With regard to the movement of the door hinge 3, the second hinge bracket 5 and the third hinge bracket 6 behave in the same way. In principle, within the scope of the invention, an embodiment with only a first hinge bracket 4 and a second hinge bracket 5 is sufficient. The arrangement of the second hinge bracket 5 and the third hinge bracket 6, which is symmetrical with respect to a center plane, is provided for reasons of uniform force distribution and is purely exemplary.

Already from the Fig. 1 it can be seen that the door hinge 3, starting from a closed position, has an opening angle of 180 ° until it reaches a maximum open position.

For a better understanding of the construction of the door hinge, this is in the Fig. 2 shown without the door frame 1 and the door leaf 2.

The exact arrangement of the first hinge bracket 4 and of the second hinge bracket 5 and the kinematics of the door hinge 3 during an opening movement are from the Figs. 3 to 5 evident.

Accordingly, in the 4-axis hinge arrangement, the first hinge bracket 4 is attached to the frame part 7 so as to be rotatable about a first frame part axis 9a and to the wing part 8 so as to be rotatable about a first wing part axis 10a.

Eine Verbindung erfolgt nur über die Abstützung der Gelenkbügel 4, 5, 6 an den Zargenteilachsen 9a, 9b bzw. den Flügelteilachsen 10a, 10b.The second hinge bracket 5 is fastened in a comparable manner to the frame part 7 so as to be rotatable about a second frame part axis 9b and to the wing part 8 so as to be rotatable about a second wing part axis 10b. It can also be seen from the figures that all of the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 are not directly connected to one another. A connection is only made via the support of the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 on the frame part axes 9a, 9b or the wing part axes 10a, 10b.

The frame part axes 9a, 9b and the leaf part axes 10a, 10b are arranged in such a way that the door leaf can be pivoted through 180 °. This is in terms of the Figs. 3 to 5 achieved in that during an opening movement from the closed position to the open position, the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 rotate with respect to the frame part 7 in a first direction of rotation and the wing part 8 with respect to the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 also rotate in the first direction. In the Figs. 3 to 5 the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 rotate counterclockwise with respect to the frame part 7. Furthermore, the wing part 8 also rotates counterclockwise with respect to the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6, so that ultimately the angles of rotation add up to the opening angle to be achieved.

To clarify the kinematics are the Figures 8A to 8C compared to the Figs. 3 to 5 highly schematized, only the frame part axes 9a, 9b, the leaf part axes 10a, 10b and the door leaf 2 are shown.

For comparison, they show Figures 9A to 9C the kinematics of a well-known concealed hinge for furniture, in which an opening angle of around 90 ° can be achieved through counter-rotating movements.

In the Figs. 3 to 5 it can also be seen that the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 have a pronounced U-shape. According to the Fig. 5 The U-shape enables the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 to be pivoted around a mirror section 11 of the door frame 1. In order to simultaneously limit the installation depth of the frame part 7 in a first horizontal direction X and a second horizontal direction Y, the mirror section 11 is provided with a recess 13 starting from a reveal 12 of the door frame 1, which will be explained in more detail below.

Das Verhältnis der Abstände a2:a1 beträgt im Rahmen der Erfindung vorzugsweise zumindest 0,5.In order to characterize the shape of the U-shape, the distance a 1 between the first frame part axis 9a and the second wing part axis 10a for the first hinge bracket can be compared with a depth of the U-shape. The depth of the U-shape can be determined by determining the maximum distance a 2 from a central section of the first hinge bracket 4 perpendicular to a connecting line between the first frame part axis 9a and the first wing part axis 10a. The ratio of the distances a 2 : a 1 is preferably at least 0.5 in the context of the invention.

In the same way, for the second hinge bracket 5 between the second frame part axis 9b and the second wing part axis 10b, a distance b 1 as well as perpendicular to this, a distance b 2 can be determined, the ratio b 2 : b 1 here too preferably being greater than 0.5.

In order to stabilize the door hinge 3 and to keep tension forces away from the frame part axes 9a, 9b and the leaf part axes 10a, 10b, at least one of the hinge brackets 4, 5, 6 can be in the closed position and / or the open position on a stop surface 14a, 14b of the frame part 7 and / or the wing part 8 rest.

In the specific embodiment it is provided that in the maximum open position according to FIG Fig. 5 the first hinge bracket 4 rests against a first stop surface 14a of the wing part 8, while in the closed position the second hinge bracket 5 according to FIG Fig. 3 rests against a second stop surface 14b of the wing part 8.

Due to the inventive design of the room door with a hinge with the 4-axis hinge arrangement, the leaf part 8 can be made comparatively small. To the side of the door leaf 2 made of glass, only the first leaf part axis 10a and the second leaf part axis 10b are arranged with an offset in the second horizontal direction Y.

In addition, the leaf part 8 comprises a clamping arrangement 15 with which the door leaf 2 made of glass can be fixed in a particularly simple manner by means of clamping screws. When the clamping screws of the clamping arrangement 15 are loosened, the door leaf 2 can also be adjusted in the vertical direction Z and also to a certain extent along the first horizontal direction X. Additionally or alternatively, adjustment in at least one direction X, Y, Z can also be provided on the frame part 7.

According to the Fig. 3 the first frame part axis 9a and the second frame part axis 9b are arranged offset from one another along the first horizontal direction X.

The Fig. 6 shows a section of the also in Fig. 1 room door shown in a closed state, compared to the Fig. 1 other attachments are available.

First of all, it can be seen that the door frame 1 on the one hand has the above-mentioned mirror section 11 and a soffit 12 running along the second horizontal direction Y and the vertical direction Z.

The reveal 12 is provided with a step 16 which separates a first reveal section 17 adjoining the mirror section 11 from a second reveal section 18.

In a known manner, the step 16 forms a stop surface for the door leaf 2, with a sealing groove also being provided on the step 16 for receiving a door seal, not shown.

A lateral gap remains above and below the door hinge 3 between the door leaf 2 and the first reveal section 17. When compared with the Fig. 1 it can be seen that the frame part 7 is inserted into an opening 20 which extends from the first reveal section 17 to the second reveal section 18 and thus beyond the step 16.

According to the Fig. 1 the frame part 7 is covered within the opening 20 to the outside by the mirror section 11 and is also inserted with a set back relative to the reveal 12, the frame part 7 being covered with a separate cover part 21, which is also adapted to the shape of the Level 16 is adjusted.

The cover part 21 has a first cover section 21a, which is flush with the first reveal section 17, while a second cover section 21b is flush with the second reveal section 18.

In principle, an adaptation of the cover part 21 to different frame geometries and in particular different heights of the step 16 can also be provided. In the simplest case, for example, different cover parts 21 can be kept ready as accessories for different heights of the step 16. In addition, it is also possible for the cover part 21 to be configured in several pieces, with a front section then being adjustable with respect to a rear section. For the setting, for example, screws, a multi-stage latching connection or an adjustable interference fit can be provided.

According to the Fig. 6 a small lateral gap remains between the door leaf 2 and the first reveal section 17. However, since according to the Figs. 3 to 5 The leaf part 8 extends partially to the side of the door leaf 2, the leaf part 8 is located exactly in the area of the gap between the door leaf 2 and the first reveal section 17. In order to achieve a uniform, high-quality appearance against this background, a cover 22 is placed on the leaf part 8.

So that the panel 22 is arranged flat and preferably without a gap in relation to the mirror section 11 when the door leaf 2 is in the closed position, the edge of the recess 13 formed in the mirror section 11 is filled by a separate cover bracket 23.

The panel 22 and the cover bracket 23 are in the Fig. 7 shown in the released state. The cover bracket 23 can be arranged with an end pin 24 on the frame part 7, whereby a certain mobility with respect to the wing part 8 is preferably still possible. If, for example, the wing part 8 is adjustable along the vertical direction Z, it can be ensured by the mobility of the cover bracket 23 that it is always arranged in the recess 13 without tension.

In order to hold the cover bracket 23 securely in the recess 13, it has a holding web 25 which can engage behind the mirror section 11. In addition, the cover bracket 23 forms a support surface for the panel 22. When the door leaf is closed, the panel 22 overlaps the support surface of the retaining bracket 23 so that no continuous gap is visible and the impression of a high-quality, closed surface is obtained.

The Figures 8A to 8C show the kinematics of the door hinge 3 according to the invention in a purely schematic representation, with an opening angle of 180 ° being achieved through the arrangement of the frame part axes 9a, 9b and the leaf part axes 10a, 10b.

In comparison, the Figures 9A to 9C the kinematics of a concealed hinge for furniture according to the prior art, as it is for example in the EN 43 41 422 A1 is described. According to the requirements of a furniture hinge, a door leaf 2 'is initially lifted from a furniture body (not shown) by ultimately counter-rotating movements at the two ends of the hinge bracket 4', 5 'and then only rotated to an angle of about 90 °.
