Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mixer.
- a mixer is from, for example EP 0963242 B1 or the DE198 48 536 A1 known.
- Such a mixer in particular a container mixer, in which a mixing tool as described there is used, is used in particular for processing powdery, semolina and / or granular materials.
- a mixing container filled with material to be mixed is usually closed by a mixer head.
- the mixer head has the mixing tool.
- the closed mixing container is rotated by 180 ° about a horizontal axis, so that the mixing tool is now arranged above the bottom of the mixer head.
- the actual mixing process then takes place, in which the mixing tool usually rotates about a vertical axis in the mixing container.
- a mixing tool in which on the front and rear edges of vanes which extend radially to a hub and at an angle to the vane are formed, the height of which, viewed perpendicularly to the plane of rotation of the respective vane in the direction of rotation of the hub, is increasingly formed up to near a rear end and then decreases again in an arc.
- Deposits on the inner side wall and the bottom of the mixer head below the mixing tool, which occur during the mixing of the material to be mixed, are also problematic, to avoid which a high rotational speed is required, which, however, has the disadvantage of high temperature inputs into the material to be mixed.
- Moving the tool blades close to the inner side wall or close to the floor is also associated with an increase in the power consumption of the mixer and high temperature inputs into the mix.
- EP 0 211 279 A2 and DE 40 05 219 A1 each disclose a mixer with some features of claim 1.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a mixer with a mixing tool, with which a good quality mixing with low temperature inputs and low power consumption as well as a reduction in remaining deposits is made possible.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a mixer with low power consumption, which is also easier to clean.
- the mixer according to the invention in particular a container mixer, has a mixing container and a mixer head with a bottom, a cylindrical inner side wall, a mixing tool rotatably mounted on the bottom of the mixer head and a tool drive for the mixing tool.
- the mixing tool has a hub on which at least two vanes projecting radially or approximately radially to an axis of rotation of the hub are arranged.
- the vanes are shaped such that their maximum thickness lies in a front section of the vanes when viewed in the direction of rotation of the hub.
- the wings are wing-shaped, with a convex upper surface with a curvature that decreases substantially in the direction of rotation of the hub and a lower surface that continuously changes from a convexly curved section in the rotating direction of the hub to a concave curved rear section.
- the wing-like shape of the wings of such a mixing tool is advantageous in many ways.
- Such a mixing tool can achieve good mixing of the material to be mixed with the comparatively low running speed due to the improved buoyancy effect on the material to be mixed, which is caused by the movement of the blades, and the low air resistance.
- Such blades can be positioned at a sufficiently large distance from the bottom of the mixer head, so that disassembly of the mixing tool is not necessary even for cleaning the mixing tool and the mixer, which is associated with great time savings.
- the free ends of the wings each have an outer wing oriented at an angle to the respective wing.
- Such an outer wing reduces the turbulence of the material to be mixed during the rotation of the mixing tool, so that a laminar flow is favored with which the material to be mixed is mixed, which helps to avoid deposits on the mixing tool and the side wall of the mixer.
- the outer wings are wedge-shaped, with a convex front surface.
- the outer wings are aligned obliquely to the axis of rotation of the hub.
- the outer blades are preferably mounted on the free end of the blades.
- a one-piece molding of the outer wings at the free end of the wings is also conceivable.
- the vanes are also preferably mounted on the hub.
- the span of the blades of the mixing tool is dimensioned such that the distance of a radially outer edge of the blades from the side inner wall of the mixer head is between 5% and 60% of the wingspan.
- the distance between the underside of the blades and the base of the mixer head is preferably between 1% and 35% of the wingspan of the blades.
- the transition between the bottom and the inner side wall is continuous, in particular as a circular peripheral section, which provides additional buoyancy of the material to be mixed when the mixing tool rotates.
- this also enables a particularly cost-effective production of a mixer head, in which the base can be designed as a flat, circular disk-shaped plate, to which a circumferential side wall can be connected as part of the mixing container which can be placed on the mixer head.
- top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc. refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the mixing tool, the hub, the vanes, the outer vanes and the like selected in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as restrictive, i.e. these references can change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design or the like.
- a mixer for powdery, semolina and / or granular substances is designated by the reference numeral 1 as a whole.
- the mixer 1 essentially has a mixing container 8 onto which a mixer head 2 can be placed and with which the mixing container 8 can be closed.
- the mixing container 8 and the mixer head 2 are held on a stand 12.
- an outlet 9 is provided, through which the finished mixed material can be discharged from the mixing container 8.
- a mixing tool 3 Arranged in the mixer head 2 is a mixing tool 3, which is rotatably mounted via a drive 7 parallel to a base 21 of the mixer head 2 on a drive shaft 10 which passes through the base 21 of the mixer head 2 and can be driven by the drive 7.
- a hub 4 of the mixing tool 3 is fastened in a rotationally fixed manner on the drive shaft 10.
- FIGS Figures 2 and 3rd An embodiment variant of such a mixing tool 3, arranged in two different variants of a mixer head 2, is shown in FIGS Figures 2 and 3rd shown.
- the Figures 4 to 6 show a preferred embodiment of the mixing tool 3 in an individual representation from different perspectives.
- the mixing tool 3 has three vanes 5 projecting radially or approximately radially to an axis of rotation A corresponding to the drive axis 10 of the drive 7.
- the vanes 5 are shaped such that their maximum thickness d max lies in a front section 53 of the vanes 5, viewed in the direction of rotation R of the hub 4. In a rear section 54 of the wings, the thickness d of the wings slowly decreases.
- the wings 5 are preferably shaped like an wing.
- a wing shape is referred to here as a shape of the wing, in which a convex upper surface 51 with essentially in the direction of rotation D of the hub 4 is designed with a decreasing curvature and in which an underside 52 of the vanes 5 continuously changes from a convexly curved section 52a, which is front in the direction of rotation D of the hub 4, to a concave curved rear section 52b.
- the wings 5 can be aligned parallel or at an angle to a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation A of the hub 4.
- the wings 5 are preferably oriented outwardly increasing by 0 ° to 45 ° to the horizontal.
- the wings 5 are preferably flat. But it is also conceivable to form the wings 5 bent or kinked. For example, it is conceivable that, starting from the hub 4, the vanes 5 initially extend tilted parallel or at an angle to a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation A of the hub 4 and bend up or down in a region remote from the hub 4.
- an outer wing 6 is arranged at an angle to the respective wing 5.
- the blades 5 are preferably aligned in the radial direction parallel and spaced from the bottom 21 of the mixer head 2.
- the outer vanes 6 are preferably wedge-shaped, with a convexly shaped front surface 61, which is viewed in the direction of rotation D of the hub 4 during the mixing process, taper towards the rear to a wedge-shaped region 62.
- the outer wings 6 are preferably oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wings 5, the convexly shaped front surface 61 of the outer wings 6 preferably being tilted backwards by 15 ° to 45 °, in particular 20 °, from the vertical.
- the wing width b of the wings 5 is formed with increasing distance from the hub 4 decreasing.
- the vanes 5 arranged on the hub 4 are furthermore preferably arranged at the same angular distance from one another.
- the outer wings 6 are preferably mounted on the free end of the wing 5.
- the wings 5 themselves are preferably mounted on the hub 4 in a rotationally fixed manner. In principle, however, a one-piece design of the vanes 5 with the hub 4 is also conceivable.
- the outer blades 6 are arranged spaced from cylindrical side inner walls 22 of the mixer head 2.
- the mixer head 2 is in the in the Figures 2 and 3rd
- the embodiment variants shown are cup-shaped, with a flat bottom 21 and a side inner wall 22 adjoining the bottom 21 circumferentially.
- the transition between the bottom 21 and the side inner wall 22 is continuous here, in particular as a circular peripheral section.
- the wingspan 5 is preferably dimensioned such that the distance of a radially outer edge of the wings 5 from the side inner wall 22 of the mixer head 2 is between 5% and 60% of the wingspan I of the wings 5.
- the spacing of the blades 5 and the outer blades 6 from the side inner wall 22 of the mixer head 2 enables cleaning of the mixer head 2 with the mixing tool 3 installed, without having to disassemble it.
- the distance between the underside 52 of the blades 5 from the bottom 21 of the mixer head 2 is preferably between 1% and 35% of the span I of the blades 5, particularly preferably between 5% and 15%.
- the wing-shaped shape of the blades 5 also allows a sufficiently large distance of the blades 5 from the bottom 21 of the mixer head 2 to to be able to carry out cleaning without dismantling the mixing tool 3 and, at the same time, to achieve a sufficiently large suction effect when the mixing tool 3 rotates, in order to mix the mix to be mixed sufficiently in the mixer 1, the suction effect caused by the wing shape of the blades 5 being avoided at the same time of deposits on the bottom 21 of the mixer head 2 contributes.
- the base 21 of the mixer head 2 is disc-shaped, so that the mixing container 8 can be placed directly on it, so that in this case the side wall 22 adjoining the base 21 as part of the mixing container 2 which can be placed on the mixer head 2 8 is formed.
