Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding system according to the preamble of claim 1, as it is also known with a control bar from practice.
  • Folding systems with at least one chain hingedly interconnected wings that are accordion-like folded from a closed position within the frame in such a way that joint areas between the wings alternately along the guide rails movably guided and deflected therebetween ausknickend to a folding movement away from the rails are spread in practice.
  • the chain of wings at the end is pivotally connected to one of the side frames and collapsible towards this end.
  • the chain can be completed on the opening side with a guided on the guide rails joint area or complete with a pivoting in the manner of a door (rotary) wing.
  • the chain of wings can also be freely movable along the guide rails during folding and thus be folded together to one or the other end of the guide rails, which in turn can be provided freely pivotable end wing on both sides.
  • the object of the invention is hereafter, to make a folding system in a market-driven attractive shape and with a limited effort to optimize the seal.
  • this object is achieved by a folding system starting from the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of claim 1.
  • a folding system starting from the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of claim 1.
  • an uninterrupted seal in the context of the sealing plane between the frame and wings is possible, which includes the adjusting bar and is maintained at change in distance of the adjusting bar relative to the side frame in its shape and position.
  • the adjusting bar With a sealing surface, which is aligned with the sealing plane between the wings and the frame, the condition is created, the adjusting bar to apply to a continuous seal and maintain their sealing seat regardless of changes in the distance of the adjusting bar relative to the side frame.
  • This also gives the possibility to provide a guided in the context of stationary gap and unbroken seal that continues in the subsequent guide rails and also continuously, possibly even in one piece, can be performed running in the entire frame.
  • a displacement of the adjusting bar along the sealing plane leaves the seal seat untouched.
  • the sealing plane considered here is contact surface between the frame and the movable wings and also the movable control bar, which passes without offset and gap of the adjusting frame holding the side frame on the guide rails and as a closed annular surface can pull around the entire frame.
  • the adjusting bar is preferably formed overall with a relation to the width of the frame (viewed in the direction of the guide rails) reduced width between the sealing plane and an outer surface of the side frame and then covers against the abutting wing only one lying between the sealing plane and one of the outer surfaces of the folding part of the Side frame off.
  • the actuating bar may expediently form an outer surface with a surface lying opposite the sealing connection surface and thus appear as part of the side frame.
  • a seal can be disposed between the adjusting bar and the adjoining wing on one or the other or on both sides, which is suitably matched to the respective opposite side.
  • this can be useful designed as a profile part with trained on profile webs guide surfaces relative to the side frame, wherein the guide surfaces are applied to profile webs.
  • Such profile parts can be in appealing and robust form as light metal profiles, in particular of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, even in complex form.
  • the side frame may be formed as a profile part and store the adjusting bar in a profile chamber open in the direction of the guide rail.
  • the adjusting bar if it is only partially on one of the outer surfaces of the folding system, can be made in one piece in light metal, is usually to prevent the formation of cold bridges in a side frame made of light metal profiles and to assemble the profile element, for example, inside with a plastic profile.
  • the adjustment bar can be practically connected to the adjustment by adjusting screws with the side frame, with regularly several parking areas are required.
  • inherently rigid control strips only with two distributed over the entire length adjusting devices for distance adjustment relative to the Get along side frame or plant adjustment against the adjoining wing.
  • adjusting screws are provided on three adjustment regions along the adjustment bar along the length of one adjustment bar.
  • a folding system namely a glass folding unit 1, for the sake of clarity of elementary form with three wings 2,3,4 in the closed state ( Fig. 1 ), in the partially opened state ( Fig. 2 ) or in the folded state ( Fig. 3 ).
  • the wings 2,3,4 are mounted in a frame of an upper guide rail 5, a lower guide rail 6, a side frame 7 and a side frame 8 opposite the side frame 8, wherein the wing 2 end against the side frame 7 and the guide rails 5,6 rotatably but is held immovably, while the wings 2 and 3 are hinged between each other, but without a commitment to the guide rails 5 and 6, however, the wings 3 and 4 hinged together, but are guided in the hinge region along the guide rails 5 and 6.
  • the wing 4 is pivotable as a rotary wing about the intermediate joint to the wing 3 and, for example, in room-high folding systems also open as a door.
  • folding systems of this type with other, guided along the guide rails 5 and 6 foldable pairs of wings corresponding to the pair of wings 2 and 3 practically added as desired can be.
  • a folding system of this kind can also be designed without fixing a (usually end-side) wing on one of the side frames as a whole along the guide rails.
  • the chain of the wings can also be freely pivotable on both sides in the manner of the wing 4 as a "rotary wing”.
  • Such folding systems are basically considered to be known. This essentially also applies to the (partial) cross-sectional representations after the 4 to 6 , which are reproduced only for a better understanding of the invention and described below.
  • the Fig. 4 shows a vertical cross-section through the upper and lower guide rail 5 and 6 of the frame and the adjacent upper and lower casements 11,12 in the closed state, while the intermediate double glazing 13 is only partially reproduced and substantially broken away. In any case, it does not depend on the filling or inner surface of the wings for the present case, even if these, especially in the form of double glazing, the user has the predominant interest.
  • the aforementioned frame parts are executed in the prevailing practice as complex extruded profile sections and indeed in a composite form with external profile parts, the strength, robustness and attractive appearance of the surface because of metallic, namely produced as an extruded aluminum alloy, but in a central region to avoid cold spots on preferably made of plastic profile anchors 22,23,24 are held.
  • the frame profiles form a total of folds between the frame and wings, in which the wings can strike transversely to the frame in the manner of door or window rabbet.
  • the separations between wing and frame are marked with dash-dotted separating lines 25.
  • Essential here is the formation of a sealing plane 26, the in Fig.
  • the sealing plane 26 is within the cross-section of the frame profiles and is aligned with the associated stop surface of the sash parallel to the plane of a plane executed frame. Accordingly, the associated seal 28 is essentially designed for a sealing system transverse to the frame plane, even if the sealing profile also offers mobility parallel to the frame plane.
  • Fig. 4 The profile cross sections after Fig. 4 can still recognize additional seals 29 between the guide rails 5 and 6 and the casement, which are outside here and provide protection against dirt and moisture for the intermediate areas between the frame and wing.
  • these seals are not designed to form a sealing plane, especially as they are also bridged and ventilated by underside ventilation and drainage openings (not shown).
  • the seals 29 have so far only an upstream protection function for the inner seals on the sealing plane 26th
  • Fig. 4 are further indicated in dash-dotted lines joints 31,32 on the wing frame 11 and 12 (and on the subsequent sash) of the wing 2 to form a joint line, of which the overhead joint 31 is connected to a guide roller 33 with a vertical axis, the Guide transversely to the frame plane in a downwardly open cavity of the frame profile member 15 runs, while the lower hinge 32 a roller 34 superimposed, which runs with a running profile on a rail 35 and thereby proportionally transfers the weight of the wings on the guide rail 6 and at the same time a guide along the frame.
  • the joints of the wings lie behind the cutting plane for Fig. 4 ,
  • Fig. 5 is the closed position between the (rotary) wing 4 and the side frame 8 very similar to the basis of the Fig. 4 described constellation between the wing 3 and the guide rails 5.6 designed and also realized with partially corresponding extruded profiles.
  • a dot-dash line 25 for the delineation between side frame 8 and sash 36 is also sketched here, wherein a projecting profile part 37 of the sash 36 forms on the inside a stop plane which produces a continuation of the sealing plane 26 and with this sealing plane 26 against a rests on the frame side mounted seal, which may be formed as a continuous seal along the entire frame to avoid gaps. Also any joints with which seal pieces are to be set together can be reliably closed in the sense of a continuous seal.
  • Fig. 5 are in dash-dotted lines still closing elements 38,39 and a knob-like operating handle 40 indicated that result in a door-like to use rotary door 4 door lock functions.
  • wing 2 in each case the assignment of the side frame 7 is shown to a sash portion 41 of the wing 2, which is also composed, as the above-described frame parts, substantially extruded profiles, the wing 2 with respect to the frame hinged with a belt or hinge 42 is that in the present case is not movable in the direction of the guide rails on rollers, although this could be provided alternatively.
  • a setting bar 43 can be seen, which is preferably again formed as a metal profile strand and the front side forms a C-groove 44 for receiving a front seal 45.
  • This adjustment is important for the exact adjustment of the closed wing chain relative to the frame, to compensate for manufacturing tolerances of the wing chain, which can add up considerably, especially in a larger number of wings in a chain, manufacturing tolerances of the frame and possibly also use deformations.
  • the adjusting bar 43 is adjustable over a range of, for example, 10 mm to the wing 2 and also resettable, so that the seal 45 closes with the seal seat on the wing 2 in a precisely predetermined manner without the risk of too loose or inappropriately squeezed seal seat in To take purchase.
  • a particular problem is to ensure the seal between the frame and wing at changes in position of the adjusting bar.
  • the adjusting bar 43 has a sealing connection surface 49 which is flush with the sealing plane 26 between the wing and the frame and which does not shift when the adjusting bar is adjusted.
  • On this sealing pad 49 engages a frame seal, namely, the seal 28 sealingly, which can thus draw as a closed sealing ring over the entire frame.
  • the sealing plane 26 is predetermined in the present example with a plane-planar frame, but may for example also be arcuately curved, as long as gaps or projections are avoided.
  • the adjusting bar 43 is limited, together with its end seal 45, to a partial width B of the overall width A of the side frame 7 between the inner sealing plane 26 and an outer surface 50 following the wing 2 and aligned with this outer surface with an outer surface 61.
  • the sealing plane is thus shifted away from the outer surfaces inside and closes with the seal 28, both the movable wings 2,3,4 and the adjusting bar 43 sealingly.
  • Fig. 6 and 7 are two different parking positions of the control bar 43 can be seen, the illustration in Fig. 7 a fully retracted end position of the control bar 43 shows.
  • the positions are set, for example, by means of brackets 51 by means of screws which are in Fig. 8 you can see.
  • the brackets 51 are blocks with threaded holes, of which at least one threaded bore 52 receives a support threaded screw, which is accessible through an opening 53 for a tool penetration in the adjusting bar 43 for adjustment.
  • the adjusting screw 52 forms with the screw head a support for the adjusting bar 43 and thus determines the distance to the side frame 7 out.
  • An adjusting screw 54 is also in a threaded hole the console 51 out, but on the adjusting bar 43 with a head which is recessed in the adjusting bar 43 in a depression.
  • the adjusting screw 54 sets the adjusting bar 43 on the head of the adjusting screw 52. Both screws are adjustable.
  • the illustrated bracket 51 has at a lower end again quite corresponding screws 52 and 54 and in turn is screwed firmly on mounting screws 55 to the side frame 7.
  • brackets 51 over the vertical length of the adjusting bar 43 is given from a practical point of view, taking into account the inherent rigidity of the adjusting bar. While in principle a suitable orientation of the adjusting bar 43 to the wing 2 can be achieved by two spaced apart brackets 51, three or even more consoles 51 along the control bar 43 distributed to the (intermediate) support can be advantageous.
  • Adjustment of the adjusting bar 43 is not bound to the above-described embodiment with brackets 51. Adjustment mechanisms of various types, which preferably make do with concealed access openings, such as the openings 53 in the adjusting bar 43, can be used here.
  • a simplified adjusting device for the adjusting bar 43 is in Fig. 9 indicated, but the adjusting bar 43 is then to be provided with a C-inner profile 57, in which a cap screw 58 with a head 59 is playfully fit.
  • the cap screw 58 is screwed with a thread in a bracket 60 and to shift in the adjustment by turning, so that an adjustment in both directions With a single screw per bracket 60 is possible.
  • the adjusting bar 43 is in turn guided closely in the frame 7 and moves with a rear web 62 in a matching slot in the console 60 to suppress transverse movements and twists in the sense of tilting.
  • seals 63,64 - with mirror-image cross section and along the delimitation line 25 extending contact surfaces - used are seals 63,64 - with mirror-image cross section and along the delimitation line 25 extending contact surfaces - used.
