Procédé selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que l'arête frontale (42, 43) du support de données (21) est chauffée en étant soumise à une force comprise entre 5 et 25 newtons et pendant une durée comprise entre 1 et 5 secondes et est maintenue positionnée sur le dispositif de lissage (51) .
  13. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 5 à 12, caractérisé en ce que, après le lissage de l'arête frontale (42, 43), une patte (29) est positionnée par rapport au support de données (21) le long de la face extérieure (35) de manière à former une zone de chevauchement (37) et en ce qu'une partie (36) dépassant du support de données (21) est formée et que la patte (29) est assemblée, dans ladite zone de chevauchement (37), au support de données (21), la patte (29) étant rattachée au support de données (21) au niveau d'une arête frontale (43, 42) située à l'opposé de l'arête frontale (42, 43) lissée.
  14. Dispositif de lissage destiné à fabriquer un support de données (21) conformément à un procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 7 à 12, lequel présente au moins une plaque chauffante pourvue d'une surface d'appui (48) qui comprend au moins une longueur d'une face extérieure (35) du support de données (21).
  15. Dispositif de lissage selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce que la surface d'appui (48) de la plaque chauffante est formée de manière plane ou présente un creux (57) de forme arrondie ou en forme de V plat.
