Abstract

La présente invention concerne une chaîne de marches (1) pour l'entraînement de marches d'un escalier mécanique, comprenant des éclisses (2), des axes de chaîne (3), des douilles de chaîne (5) et des galets protecteurs (6), qui sont reliés ensemble en des maillons de chaîne (7) mobiles les uns par rapport aux autres, et comprenant des galets de roulement (8) disposés à l'extérieur des maillons de chaîne (7). Les galets protecteurs (6) sont ici réalisés sous la forme de pièces à plusieurs composants qui possèdent au moins un composant de glissement (9) indéformable intérieur, avec lesquels les galets de protection (6) sont respectivement montés rotatifs sur les douilles de chaîne (5), et un composant d'amortissement (10) externe. Le composant d'amortissement (10) est réalisé avec une aptitude à la déformation élastique supérieure à celle du composant de glissement (9). L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif de transport de personnes, notamment un escalier mécanique ou un tapis roulant, équipé d'une chaîne de marches selon l'invention.
