Claims (12)

  1. Animation mechanism enabling control of the triggering of a cyclical movement of an object to be animated in order to obtain an entertaining effect and comprising:
    • a driving member to provide the energy intended for the animation of the object;
    • a power reserve cam (5) indexed to the power reserve of the driving member and determining at least two states of said power reserve;
    • a control mobile (1) kinematically connected to the driving member and intended to control the triggering of the cyclical movement of the object to be animated; and,
    • a triggering device (2, 3, 4, 9) controlled by the control mobile and kinematically connected to the object to be animated,
    wherein the triggering device (2, 3, 4, 9) is also arranged to cooperate with the power reserve cam (5) in order to cause variation, according to the power reserve of the driving member, in the triggering times of the cyclical movement of the object to be animated in time and/or the number of cyclical movements of the object to be animated upon each triggering, at least one cyclical movement of the object to be animated taking place in each of the at least two states of the power reserve of the driving member.
  2. Mechanism as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the triggering device (2, 3, 4, 9) comprises a member (9), the position of which is influenced by the power reserve cam (5).
  3. Mechanism as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that the amplitude of rotation of said member (9) of the triggering device (2, 3, 4, 9) determines the triggering times of the cyclical movement of the object to be animated in time and/or the number of cyclical movements of the object to be animated upon each triggering.
  4. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is arranged so that in each of said at least two states of the power reserve, the triggering times of the cyclical movement of the object to be animated in time and/or the number of cyclical movements of the object to be animated upon each triggering are different.
  5. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is also arranged so that in another state of the power reserve, no cyclical movement of the object to be animated is triggered and the animation does not take place.
  6. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the triggering device comprises a first lever (4) intended to cooperate with the power reserve cam (5) and bearing a triggering pin (6), a second lever (2) intended to cooperate with the control mobile (1) and a triggering finger (3) pivoted on the second lever (2) between a first active position in which said triggering finger (3) can cooperate with a rack (9) kinematically connected to the object to be animated in order to drive said rack (9) and an inactive position in which the triggering finger (3) cannot cooperate with said rack (9), the active position and the inactive position of the triggering finger (3) being determined by the position of the triggering pin (6) in an aperture (7) in the triggering finger and thus by the position of the first lever (4) with respect to the power reserve cam (5).
  7. Mechanism as claimed in claim 6, characterised in that the first and second levers (2, 4), the triggering finger (3), its aperture (7) and the triggering pin (8) are arranged so that the rotation of the second lever (2) in a first direction against the action of a jumper causes the rotation of the first lever (4) when the triggering finger (3) is in its inactive position, said first lever (4) moving away from the power reserve cam (5), whereas the rotation of the second lever (2) in a second direction under the action of the jumper causes the rotation of the first lever (4) when the triggering finger (3) is in its active position, until said first lever (4) moves back into contact with the power reserve cam (5); and so that the rotation of the second lever (2) in the second direction under the action of the jumper causes the rotation of the triggering finger (3) from its active position into its inactive position when the first lever (4) is immobilised in abutment against the power reserve cam (5).
  8. Mechanism as claimed in claim 7, characterised in that it further comprises a blocking pin (8) arranged so that the triggering finger (3) comes into abutment against this blocking pin (8) when the second lever (2) pivots in the first direction against the action of its jumper so that said triggering finger (3) is forced to pivot from its inactive position into its active position.
  9. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the power reserve cam (5) comprises at least two different radial faces, each of the faces determining a different state of the power reserve of the driving member.
  10. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the driving member is a barrel.
  11. Mechanism as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it is arranged so that when the power reserve of the driving member is above a predetermined threshold, the cyclical movement of the object to be animated is triggered N times where N ≥ 2, and when the power reserve of the driving member is below this threshold, the cyclical movement of the object to be animated is triggered only once.
  12. Timepiece comprising a mechanism as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11.
