Definitions
- the invention relates to a knitted part which is knitted flat from at least one basic knitted thread, comprising a basic knitted section comprising a plurality of basic knitted rows of stitches, and at least one wave section extending over a plurality of first and second wales comprising a plurality of waved section rows of stitches, in each of which in a first wale in one stitch is knitted in a first wave section stitch row and at least one further wave section stitch row, while in each second wale a stitch knitted in the first wave section stitch row extends over several wave section stitch rows, with at least part of the basic knitted stitch rows and at least one elastic weft thread runs along the shaft section rows of stitches.
- Such a knitted part is known in a wide variety of configurations, for example in the form of a stocking, pantyhose, body part and the like.
- the knitted part In addition to the design of the knitted part as a circular knitted fabric, it is also known to manufacture the knitted part as a flat knitted fabric. It is sometimes desirable or expedient for therapeutic reasons if the knitted part exerts an at least locally given massaging effect on the human body.
- a therapeutically relevant application that is only given as an example is the generation of a massaging effect for the treatment of plantar fasciitis, a disease of the aponeurosis plantaris, which is associated with pain on the sole of the foot in the transition to the heel.
- U.S. 2,015,608A discloses a knitted part without a corrugated section. Rather, a well-known rib structure is knitted there.
- a knitted part with the characteristics described above is made WO 2012/028795 A1 known in the form of a stump.
- US 3,159,990A discloses a knitted part with a nub pattern with local elevations.
- the invention is therefore based on the problem of specifying a knitted part which is improved in comparison thereto and which enables the formation of more protruding elevations.
- the invention provides for a knitted part of the type mentioned above that the weft thread runs at least through the first wave section stitch row and is stretched along the respective second wale over several wave section stitch rows and thus over the wave section stitch rows extending over several wave section stitch rows Stitch of the respective second wale is located.
- the knitted part according to the invention is characterized by the formation of one or more defined wave sections which have or form the elevations on the left side of the fabric, i.e. the side facing the wearer, which rises out of the plane of the knitted part relative to the actual basic knitted section raise.
- Each corrugated section extends over several wales, ie it has a corresponding width. It is formed from a plurality of consecutive rows of corrugated section meshes.
- two different wale shapes are formed which, for example, adjoin one another, namely a first wale and a second wale. In the first wale, one stitch is knitted in at least the first row and at least one further row, preferably in each row of shaft sections, i.e.
- a second wale is knitted in the shaft section, for example adjacent to the first wale.
- a stitch is knitted in a first shaft section row of stitches, which extends over several shaft section rows of stitches, i.e. at least the second, possibly also the third or fourth shaft section row of stitches overlaps and is only then meshed again. So while in the first wale several or every stitch is knitted, in the second wale the first stitch or the stitch of the first wave section stitch row is held by the needle during the knitting of the several stitch rows and is only knitted when a continuous wave section stitch row is again is knitted.
- first and second rows of stitches can alternate, or several first rows of stitches are knitted side by side, which are followed by one or more second rows of stitches, or vice versa, ultimately any stitch row sequences are conceivable.
- the overall result is an elongate wave section.
- the first and second wales can always lie in the same wave section stitch rows or be formed over this, but they can also be offset from one another across stitch rows, resulting in a kind of zigzag or wave pattern or the like, which will be discussed below .
- an elastic weft thread runs through at least part of the basic knitted rows of stitches and at least part of the wave section rows of stitches.
- An elastic weft thread is also guided in the basic knitted fabric and in particular in the corrugated section, which gives the knitted part elasticity up to and including compressive properties.
- This elastic weft thread is stretched in the wearing position and inevitably tends to contract.
- the result of this is that the knitted fabric in the wavy section contracts even further than through the "long" stitches in the second wale, and consequently the elevation is reinforced or emerges more strongly from the knitted part plane.
- the elastic weft thread thus leads to an improved formation of such an elevation in the corrugated section. This in turn means that the knitted part in the corrugated section can develop a far better massaging effect than with corresponding knitted parts known up to now.
- the weft thread runs at least through the first wave section stitch row and lies over the stitch of the respective second wale that extends over several wave section stitch rows.
- the elastic weft thread is taken along with the basic knitted thread of the "long" stitch along the second wale and held on the same needle, i.e. the weft thread is also guided longitudinally or stretched in the direction of the second wale. This already happens when knitting.
- the weft thread is consequently stretched somewhat in the transverse direction in the second wale on the one hand, since coming from the first wale it runs through the second wale to the next adjacent first wale. In addition, however, it is also stretched in particular in the direction of the second wale.
- the weft thread can run through one or more further wave section courses and lie float in the second wale.
- the elastic weft thread of the first wave segment row of stitches is stretched longitudinally in the direction of the wale and quickly guided over the "long" stitch of the basic knitted thread.
- the elastic weft threads of the second, third, etc. wave section stitch courses lie flat in the second wale.
- the weft thread runs through one or more further wave section stitch rows, with the weft thread of one or all further wave section stitch rows lying over the stitch of the respective second wale that extends over several wave section stitch rows.
- the weft thread is also laid in one or more further shaft section stitch rows. However, it does not run smoothly through the second wale, but is also stretched lengthwise in the direction of the second wale and, like the weft thread of the first wave section row of stitches, is also guided lying over the "long" stitch of the basic knitted thread of the second wale.
- the corrugated section consequently has three corrugated section rows of stitches, each of which runs through an elastic weft thread
- the "long" basic knitted stitch in the second wale extends over the second and third rows of stitches.
- the elastic weft thread of the first, the second and the third row of stitches is now guided over the same needle as this "long" stitch and is consequently stretched in the direction of the wale, lying over this stitch in each case. So several or all weft threads are stretched in the direction of the wale, so that the effect of the tightening in the wale direction even more. This supports the formation of the elevation even further, and the elevation is more or less “stable” since the several stretched weft threads develop a remarkably high restoring force, which stabilizes the knitted elevation or wave.
- the knitted thread can also be guided in different ways in the wavy section or in particular in the respective second wale. It can be provided that the knitted thread, at least in one or all further wave section stitch rows in the respective second wale, likewise, extending over one or more wave section stitch rows, lies float over the stitch of the respective second wale extending over several wave section stitch rows.
- the knitted thread can also be tensioned in the longitudinal direction of the knitted fabric by being guided over the "long" stitch of the second wale. In this case, only the knitted thread of one or a few wavy section rows of stitches can be guided over the "long" stitch, in the other rows of stitches it is floating.
- the knitting yarn of each wave section course may overlie the "long" stitch.
- the entire recovery potential that results from the "long” stitch, the stretched elastic thread or threads and the stretched knitted thread or threads in the respective second wale can be varied. Any number of variations with regard to the guidance of the knitted thread and the elastic thread are therefore possible, also depending on the number of wavy section stitch rows.
- the first and second wales can more or less alternate.
- the specific geometry within the knitted fabric can be adjusted as required. Provision can thus be made for a plurality of first and second wales to be knitted alternately, which are knitted from the same shaft section stitch rows. This results in a rib-like elevation running in a quasi-linear manner in the transverse direction of the knitted part.
- any sequence of double crochets is possible.
- subsections comprising one or more pairs of a first and a second wale or comprising only first or only second wales are knitted offset to one another in the wale direction.
- a zigzag or wavy elevation geometry can be knitted in this way.
- Each subsection may consist of a single pair of first and second wales, with two adjacent pairs being offset from each other by, for example, one course or two courses.
- each subsection may include only first or only second wales.
- a corresponding zigzag or wave pattern can be formed.
- a particularly expedient development provides that seen in the direction of the wales, between the basic knitted section and the Shaft section is a transition section extending over several wales and rows of stitches with a greater stitch density than that formed in the adjacent basic knitted section.
- a specific transitional section is formed between the basic knitted section and the corrugated section, in which there is a high stitch density. This mesh density is greater than that in the adjacent basic knitted section.
- a large stitch volume is made available via this transition section, which enables a length compensation by which the shortening of the knitted fabric resulting from the knitted elevation or elevations is compensated for.
- this transition section is knitted with a high stitch volume, which compensates for this shortening of the knitted fabric.
- such a transition section is preferably formed both before and after the or each shaft section.
- the transition section should extend over the same number of wales as the respective shaft section, so that there is always a sufficient mesh compensation volume available over the entire width of the shaft section.
- each stitch of each row of stitches is preferably knitted in the transition section, so that the maximum stitch volume is given.
- a smaller stitch volume is knitted.
- each stitch can be knitted in a first row of stitches in the basic knitted section, with every second stitch extending into the following second row of stitches, while in the second row of stitches every second stitch is knitted, with first and second rows of stitches alternating in the wale direction. Since every second stitch of the first basic knitted row of stitches extends into the second basic knitted row of stitches, i.e.
- elongated stitches are also formed, and consequently only every second stitch is knitted in the second basic knitted row of stitches, there is consequently a reduced stitch volume in the basic knitted fabric section. If every stitch is knitted in the transition section, there is a significantly higher stitch volume there.
- the knitting pattern described for the basic knitted section is merely an example; other types of weave are of course also conceivable. Basically, however, when a transition section is knitted when necessary due to the stitch density in the base knitted section, the stitch density or stitch count in the transition section is larger than that in the base knitted section.
- the invention provides that the knitted part has at least one elastic weft thread.
- This elastic weft thread which is, for example, a silicone or elastane thread that is wound or not wound, gives the knitted part sufficient elasticity.
- a weft thread is preferably used or introduced in a form that gives the knitted part a compressive property, ie that it is a compressive knitted part.
- Such a compressive knitted part builds up a defined pressure on the body tissue that is gripped, additionally connected with the massage effect, which is reinforced according to the invention, due to the elevation or wave formation improved according to the invention.
- the knitted part can be, for example, a stocking or pantyhose, with the corrugated section or sections being provided in a section covered by the sole of the foot in the wearing position.
- the plantar fasciitis already described in the introduction can be treated in this way will.
- the knitted part it is also conceivable for the knitted part to be in the form of a sock, a body or upper part or trousers, with the respective knitted part being sufficiently elastic that it nestles against the body of the wearer.
- the knitted part preferably has compressive properties, regardless of how it is specifically designed.
- the knitted thread itself can be any knitted thread, for example made of PA, PP or PE or a natural fiber such as cotton or silk, although this list is not exhaustive.
- the knitted part 1 shows a knitted part 1 not according to the invention as a partial view in the form of a stitch pattern.
- the knitted part 1 is made from at least one knitted thread 2 as a flat knitted fabric. It comprises a multiplicity of consecutive basic knitted rows 3a, 3b, which alternate in the longitudinal direction L of the knitted fabric.
- each basic knitted row of stitches 3a is knitted in such a way that although each stitch is knitted, the stitches 5a only extend to the next row of stitches 3b, while the stitches 5b extend into the next but one row of stitches 3a, i.e. overlap a row of stitches 3b. Consequently, in every second basic knitted row of stitches 3b, only every second stitch 6 is necessarily knitted, since the lengthened stitch of the first basic knitted row of stitches 3a extends between two stitches 6. In this way, the stitch volume in the basic knitted section 4 is reduced somewhat.
- a shaft section 7 is provided, which is also knitted from the knitted thread 2 . It consists of several shaft section stitch rows 8a, 8b, 8c . The wave section rows of stitches connect to the basic knitted rows of stitches 3a, 3b.
- the shaft section 7 consists of a plurality of separate wales, namely pairs comprising a first wale 9 and an adjacent second wale 10. It is terminated on both sides by a first wale 9.
- a stitch 11 is knitted in each first wale 9 in each wave section stitch row 8a, 8b. In the direction of wale 9, stitch 11 follows stitch 11.
- the second wale 10 differs significantly from this.
- the second wale 10 ultimately has only one "long" stitch 12 .
- the knitted thread 2 is "pulled” starting from the first wave section stitch row 8a over several further wave section stitch rows to the last wave section stitch row 8f, i.e. the stitch of the wave section stitch row 8a is held on the needle during knitting . It is only knitted when the last wave section stitch row 8f is knitted. This results in a longitudinal stretching of the knitted thread 2 resulting from the "long” stitch 12. This tends to contract again somewhat due to the elasticity of the thread, so that an elevation or bulge occurs on the left side of the fabric facing the wearer. As can be seen, several pairs of first and second wales 9, 10 alternate within the shaft section 7.
- these transition sections 13 the rows of stitches coming from the basic knitted rows of stitches are knitted with a higher number of stitches than in the actual basic knitted section 4 .
- every stitch 5 6 is knitted here, so that the maximum stitch volume results here.
- This increased number of stitches ensures that each transition area 13 can serve as a "length compensation", resulting from the fact that as a result of the longitudinal expansion of the knitted thread 2 in the respective wale 10, i.e. the "long" stitches 12, the wave section in the longitudinal direction L of the knitted fabric is contracted.
- the knitted part 1 comprises at least one elastic weft thread 14, which in 1 shown example, contrary to the invention, lying float through every second row of stitches, be it the basic knitted stitch rows 3a, be it the wave section stitch rows 8a, 8c, etc., runs.
- This elastic weft thread provides the basic knitted fabric 1 with sufficient elasticity and even compressive properties. It reinforces the formation of the elevation in the respective wave section 7 after it is stretched somewhat lengthwise during knitting. It therefore contracts somewhat in the transverse direction Q of the knitted fabric, which ultimately promotes the formation of the elevation in the shaft section 7, since there is also a transverse contraction component, in addition to the longitudinal contraction of the "long" stitches 12.
- FIG. 2 shows a knitted part 1 according to the invention in a first embodiment, which in terms of its basic structure consists of the knitted part 1 1 is equivalent to. It also has a base knitted section 4 formed from corresponding base knitted courses which are knitted in the different manner described. A wave section 7 is also provided, as well as transition sections 13 connected before and after this with an increased stitch density compared to the basic knitted section 4.
- the knitted part 1 is in turn knitted from a knitted thread 2 and the inserted elastic thread 14.
- the elastic thread 14 in turn runs as an inserted weft thread through every second row of stitches, for example. He lies there fast.
- the elastic thread 14 of the respective rows of stitches in the respective second wale 10 does not run smoothly through the row of stitches, but is also held on the needle on which the "long" stitch 12 of the respective second wale 10 is held. In the example shown, three elastic threads run together over the respective "long" stitch 12 in the respective second wale 10.
- the knitted part according to 2 consequently has a much stronger elevation formation than the knitted part 1 1 .
- the knitted thread runs smoothly in the second wale 10 of the shaft section 7 in the shaft section stitch rows 8b etc., such as 2 can be clearly seen. Only the elastic weft threads 14 of the individual rows are stretched in the longitudinal direction L and lie over the "long" stitch 12 in the respective wale 10.
- the configuration of the knitted part 1 according to the invention is different 3 . This corresponds to the design according to the stitch pattern 2 , which means that here too the elastic thread 14 in the respective second wale 10 lies over the “long” stitch 12
- the knitted thread 2 also runs over the "long" stitch 12 in every second row of stitches 8b, 8d, 8f, while it runs briskly over the second wale 10 in every other row of stitches 8c, 8e.
- the resilience within the shaft section 7 is therefore somewhat greater than in the embodiment according to FIG 2 , where the resilience is generated only by the "long" stitches 12 and the stretched elastic threads 14. In accordance with the design 3 In addition, the resilience of the knitted thread 2, insofar as it runs over the "long” stitch 12 and is not floating in the wale 10, is added.
- 4 finally shows an embodiment with quasi "maximum” resilience.
- 4 sets the design according to 3 even further away in that within the respective second wale 10 the knitted thread 2 is no longer floating, but runs over the stitch of the "long" stitch 12 in each wave section stitch row 8b - 8e. It can be seen that the knitted thread 2 is stretched several times within the wavy section 7, as is the elastic thread 14, of course. There is therefore a very strong contraction within the wavy section 7, particularly in the longitudinal direction of the knitted fabric, and to a certain extent also in the transverse direction of the knitted fabric .
- transition section 13 which precedes and follows the respective shaft section 7 and in which a higher stitch density is knitted than in the basic knitted section 4, as already mentioned in the introduction 1 described.
- a "length compensation" is realized via this, which compensates for the shortening of the knitted fabric resulting from the contraction in the shaft section 7 .
- the knitted thread can be, for example, a PA, PE or PP thread or a natural thread based on cotton or silk.
- the elastic thread 14 is, for example, a silicone or elastane thread, which may or may not be wound.
- any number of corrugated sections 7, which can also have a wide variety of geometries or sizes, can of course be formed.
- a shaft section 7 extend almost in a straight line in the transverse direction Q of the knitted fabric, so that a transverse rib is formed.
- a plurality of such ribs can be knitted in the longitudinal direction L of the knitted fabric, with a transition area 13 being located between each two such ribs or corrugated sections 7 .
- the individual pairs consisting of the first and second courses 9, 10 would be knitted offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the knitting, for example by one or two stitches offset, the offset direction varying to knit a wave or a zigzag shape .
- the knitted part 1 itself can be designed as a leg stocking, for example.
- the various corrugated sections 7 are preferably knitted on the knitted area that covers the sole of the foot in order to produce a massaging effect with them, for example in order to be able to treat plantar fasciitis.
- the knitted part can also be designed as tights or arm stockings or as a body part or the like.
- the wave section or sections 7 are always produced at those points on the left warning side where a massaging treatment of the body part or tissue gripped is to take place.
