Definitions
- the invention relates to a compressive knitted part, in particular a flat knitted part, consisting of at least one knitting thread and an inserted elastic weft thread.
- Such compressive knitted parts are known in different designs.
- the most prominent example is a stocking or a sock, but longer leg warmers are also known that enclose the lower leg and possibly also the thigh, but have no foot part, or arm warmers that are pulled over the lower and/or upper arm, as well as body knits . They all have a compressive effect of the knitted part, which means that the knitted part applies a defined pressure to the affected part of the body or the underlying tissue in order to treat it lymphologically, for example.
- this is often knitted in the form of a flat knitted part from at least one knitting thread and an inserted elastic weft thread, after which the flat knitted part is sewn or glued at the edges to form a corresponding tubular geometry.
- a knitted part is also knitted circularly as a "seamless" knitted fabric on a flat knitting machine.
- Such a knitted part can be knitted from just one knitting thread and an inserted weft thread, but it is also known to knit the knitted part from two knitting threads, which are either both inelastic, both elastic or one of which can be elastic and the other inelastic, and one in the to produce inlaid weft threads formed from the meshes.
- the wearer has an area of the body in which the compressive knitted part overlaps and is therefore pressure-loaded, which is pressure-sensitive due to a given inflammation or deformation, etc., so that the pressure load on this area resulting from the compressive knitted part is perceived as uncomfortable or painful.
- a part of the body has to be supplied with the compressive knitted part, for example from a lymphological or orthopedic point of view, the wearer must tolerate this inconvenience.
- An example of such a pressure-sensitive area is the hallux valgus, a deformation of the metatarsophalangeal joint, which manifests itself in a crooked position of the big toe and in a protrusion of the ball of the big toe on the inner edge of the foot. Painful inflammation often occurs in the area of the metatarsophalangeal joint.
- Another example is inflammation, for example in the area of the knee or elbow joint, or local areas with skin irritation or the like.
- a knitted part which consists of several knitted sections adjoining one another in the circumferential direction.
- the knitted part has elastic properties that are imparted by an elastic thread.
- the invention is based on the problem of specifying a compressive knitted part which is improved in comparison and offers improved wearing comfort.
- a compressive knitted part consisting of at least one knitting thread and an inserted elastic weft thread
- a first knitted section with a compressive first basic weave type, wherein in several rows of stitches of the first knitted section between two areas of the first knitted section a second knitted section with a second type of weave that is different from the basic weave type, which gives the second knitted section greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the first knitted section, and a third knitted section adjoining the second knitted section with a basic weave type that matches the first and the second Basic binding different third type of binding, which the third knitted section has a higher elasticity in the longitudinal and / or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the second knitted section, is knitted, wherein the second and the third knitted section form a locally defined relief zone.
- the knitted part according to the invention is characterized by at least three defined knitted sections or zones, two of which, namely the second and in particular the third knitted section, form a defined area with reduced compression and thus enable targeted local pressure relief of the body section covered with this area.
- three different knitted sections are knitted with three different types of binding.
- the actual basic knitted fabric, the first knitted section forms the largest, essential part of the knitted fabric. It defines the basic compressive properties of the knitted part. It is knitted with a compressive first type of basic weave, as is customary or prescribed for known knitted parts, in particular flat knitted parts.
- This first knitted section is followed by a second knitted section, which is knitted with a second type of weave that is different from the first type of basic weave.
- This second type of weave is chosen so that the second knitted section has a slightly higher elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the second knitted section than the first knitted section has in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction.
- preference is given to choosing a type of binding that leads to greater elasticity both in the longitudinal and in the transverse direction.
- This second knitted section is then followed by a third knitted section, which in turn is knitted with a different type of weave than the first basic weave and the second weave.
- the type of weave selected here gives the third knitted section greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the knitted section than the second knitted section has, preferably in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
- the first knitted section forms the basic knitted fabric, ie by far the largest part of the knitted fabric.
- the second knitted section and the third knitted section are knitted in such a way that they form a locally defined relief zone within the first knitted section, ie the basic knitted fabric. This means that the basic compression of the knitted part is only reduced locally in this very area or zone. Because the second knitted section is knitted between the first and the third knitted section, which has a slightly higher elasticity than the first, but a slightly lower elasticity than the third knitted section, a soft transition of elasticity from the first to the third knitted section is achieved, i.e. that there is no abrupt increase in elasticity.
- the pressure decreases with a sufficiently smooth transition from a relatively high value in the first knit section to a relatively low value given in the third knit section.
- the invention consequently relates to a compressive knitted part, in particular a flat knitted part, consisting of at least one knitting thread and an inserted elastic weft thread, with a first knitted section consisting of several rows of stitches with a compressive first basic weave, which is characterized in that a local relief zone is formed in that in several rows of stitches between two areas of the first knitted section, a second knitted section adjoining the first knitted section with a second type of weave that differs from the basic weave, which gives the second knitted section greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the first knitted section, and a the second knitted section adjoining the third knitted section with a third type of weave different from the first basic weave and the second type of weave, which is the third Knitted section gives a higher elasticity in the longitudinal and / or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the second knitted section, is knitted.
- this defined relief zone means a significant improvement in wearing comfort and a reduction in the sometimes painful pressure load on a pressure-sensitive area.
- this relief zone according to the invention can be knitted on the compressive stocking or compressive sock exactly in the area that the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe or the ball of the big toe overlaps, so that this pressure-sensitive area is pressure-relieved via this relief area according to the invention.
- all knitted sections are knitted with a RR knitting thread and, in contrast, a generally more elastic RL knitting thread and the weft thread.
- a RR knitting thread is a right-right knitting thread that is relatively inelastic.
- a RL knitting thread is a right-left knitting thread, which in contrast is usually more elastic.
- the weft thread itself is elastic. All threads can be untwisted or wrapped threads. The fact that two knitting threads are used makes it possible to form the three different knitted weaves by appropriate thread guidance.
- the first plain weave type is a semi-tubular weave of the RR knitting yarn knitted in RR binding, the RL knitting yarn knitted in RL binding, and the laid-in weft yarn.
- the two stitch-forming knitting threads are knitted with different types of binding.
- the RR knitting yarn is knitted with a right-to-purl binding, while the RL knitting yarn is knitted with a right-to-purl binding on the front and rear needle beds of the flat knitting machine, respectively.
- the weft thread is in the stitches knitted above or below or inserted in front of them.
- This so-called semi-tubular weave forms the first type of basic weave, i.e. the compressive basic weave.
- the second type of basic weave is preferably a tuck weave, which means that the RR knitting thread is knitted with a tuck and the RL knitting thread is knitted with a RR weave. Because the RR knitting thread is knitted with a tuck, the second knitted section shows greater elasticity than the compressive first knitted section, in this case preferably in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the knitted section. This means that the second type of binding, i.e. the tether binding, is more elastic than the compressive basic binding. This is primarily due to the formation of the tuck loops on the part of the RR knitting thread, which is not guided in a stitch-forming manner with the tuck loops. An inverted knitting method would also be conceivable, in which the RL knitting thread is knitted with a tuck and the RR knitting thread is knitted with a RL binding.
- the RR knitting thread is again knitted with a RR weave, while the RL knitting thread is again knitted with a RR weave.
- at least a part of the loops knitted with the RR knitting thread are transferred, that is, transferred from the front to the back needle bed or vice versa. Because the stitches knitted from the RR knitting thread are partially transferred, and because the RL knitting thread is knitted with RR binding on both needle beds of the flat knitting machine, the RL knitting thread forms, which is usually more elastic than the RR knitting thread , corresponding tuck loops, since it is partly knitted on empty needles resulting from the transfer of the RR stitches.
- a right-right knit structure is knitted, which becomes even more elastic due to the stitch transfer to the opposite needle bed. Transferring the stitches results in small, open stitch-free areas within the individual rows of stitches in the third knitted section, i.e. very small "holes", which means that the third knitted section is relatively "open".
- a simultaneous transfer of the stitches is also conceivable, here a stitch is alternately transferred from the front needle bed to the rear and a stitch from the rear needle bed to the front etc. slung.
- the stitches would be transferred to adjacent stitches. In both cases, rehanging causes an increase in elasticity.
- every second, every third or every fourth stitch knitted with the RR knitting thread is transferred, whereby the transferred stitches of a row knitted with the RR knitting thread can be offset to the transferred stitches of the previous row knitted with the RR knitting thread.
- the “holes” mentioned are consequently offset from row of stitches to row of stitches in the transverse direction, resulting in a homogeneous distribution.
- such an offset is not required, in which case the "holes” would then follow in a straight line.
- every second RR stitch is preferably transferred.
- the first type of basic weave is preferably a RR weave knitted from the RR knitting thread, in the stitches of which the weft thread is laid.
- a tuck weave is also preferably provided here as the second type of weave, which means that the RR knitting thread is knitted with a tuck.
- the second knitted section becomes somewhat more elastic in the longitudinal and transverse direction via this tuck binding, so that a pressure reduction is introduced via this second knitted section.
- the third knitted section can be knitted with a RR binding, with at least part of the stitches knitted with the RR knitting thread being transferred from one needle bed to the other needle bed.
- This stitch transfer in turn leads to small "holes” forming in the knitted fabric in the respective rows of stitches in the area of the transferred stitches, which means that the third knitted section is significantly "opener” in terms of the stitch structure than the second and the first knitted section .
- transfer to an adjacent stitch is also possible here.
- every second, third or fourth stitch knitted with the RR knitting thread can be transferred, depending on how large the third knitted section should be and what elasticity it should have.
- the transferred stitches of a row of stitches knitted with the RR knitting thread can be offset to the transferred stitches of the previous row of stitches knitted with the RR knitting thread, so that the "holes" are offset from row of stitches to row of stitches.
- this is not mandatory.
- the formation of the three knitted sections with only one RR knitting thread which (compared to a RL knitting thread) is relatively inelastic, allows the formation of differently elastic knitted sections and the creation of a pressure relief zone with a soft transition between the more elastic third knitted section and the significantly less elastic and therefore highly compressive first knitted section.
- the geometry of the pressure relief zone, formed from the second and the third knitted section can ultimately be chosen arbitrarily. Basically, the first knitted section, the second knitted section and / or second knitted section partially or completely enclose the third knitted section. If the pressure relief zone is formed, for example, in a more inner area of the flat knitted fabric, the first knitted section will completely enclose the second knitted section and the second knitted section will completely enclose the third knitted section.
- the second and third sections of the knitted fabric can be knitted in the form of a ring, a circle, an ellipsoid or even a square shape. There is a wide range of geometric variations here.
- the flat knitted fabric is, for example, a stocking or a sock and the relief zone serves to relieve the hallux valgus
- the first knitted section only partially encloses the second knitted section and the second knitted section only partially encloses the third knitted section
- all knitted sections are followed by a knitted fabric that encompasses the toes, ie a fourth knitted fabric section, which then has no compressive properties, for example.
- Such a fourth knitted section which is followed by at least the first knitted section, but not necessarily the second and third knitted sections, is preferably knitted without a weft thread, since it does not necessarily have to have compressive properties.
- all three knitted sections can also adjoin the fourth knitted section, with the first knitted section then inevitably only partially enclosing the second knitted section and the second knitted section only partially enclosing the third knitted section.
- Any pattern or geometries can therefore be produced, but they have in common that at least locally the first knitted section adjoins the second knitted section and this adjoins the third knitted section.
- this course can also only be local, ie the third knitted section outside of this “zone” can also directly adjoin the first knitted section.
- the flat knitted fabric itself can be, for example, a stocking or a sock, but also a leg stocking (then without a foot part) or an arm stocking or a body part or a bandage.
- the invention also relates to a method for producing such a flat knitted fabric using a front and a flat knitting machine having a rear needle bed.
- a first knitted section is knitted with a compressive first plain weave type, with a second knitted section adjoining the first knitted section between two areas of the first knitted section in several rows of stitches of the first knitted section with a second type of weave different from the basic weave type, which gives the second knitted section a higher elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the first knitted section, and a third knitted section adjoining the second knitted section with a third type of weave that differs from the first basic weave type and the second weave type, which gives the third knitted section greater elasticity in Longitudinal and/or transverse direction of the knitted section than in the second knitted section, is knitted, the second and the third knitted section having a locally defined form a relief zone.
- all knitted sections can be knitted with a RR knitting thread and a RL knitting thread and the weft thread.
- a semi-tubular weave is preferably knitted from a RR knitting thread, which is knitted with a RR weave, an RL knitting thread, which is knitted with a RL weave, and the laid-in weft thread as the first basic weave type.
- the compressive basic knitted fabric is formed over this.
- the RR knitting thread is preferably knitted with a tuck and the RL knitting thread with a RR binding.
- a simultaneous transfer of the stitches is also conceivable, here a stitch is alternately transferred from the front needle bed to the rear and a stitch from the rear needle bed to the front, etc.
- the stitches would be transferred to adjacent stitches. In both cases, rehanging causes an increase in elasticity.
- the first type of basic weave can be a RR weave knitted from the RR knitting thread, ie RR stitches into which the weft thread is inserted.
- the second knitted section is knitted with a second type of binding, a tuck binding, that is, the RR knitting thread is knitted with a tuck, the elasticity within the knitted fabric being increased by the tuck loops.
- the RR knitting thread is knitted with a RR binding, with at least part of the stitches knitted with the RR thread being transferred from one needle bed to the other. Corresponding tuck loops are also formed here after the RR thread is knitted on both needle beds. At the same time, the rehanging leads to the formation of "holes" in the stitch structure, i.e. to a certain openness of the third section of the knitted fabric. In the case of a "seamless" knitted fabric, transfer to an adjacent stitch is also possible here. Again, every second, if necessary, every third or fourth RR stitch are transferred, whereby the transferred stitches can, but do not have to, be offset to the transferred stitches of the previous row.
- the first knitted section can completely enclose the second knitted section and/or the second knitted section can completely enclose the third knitted section, i.e. the relief zone lies almost completely within the first knitted section and there is a peripheral second knitted section that enables a soft pressure transfer.
- the respective knitted sections it would also be conceivable for the respective knitted sections to only partially enclose one another.
- the knitted part is preferably knitted as a stocking, sock, leg stocking without foot part, arm stocking, body part or bandage.
- a fourth knitted section preferably without the weft thread, can be knitted, to which at least the first knitted section adjoins, this fourth knitted section without weft thread having no compressive properties. If this fourth knitted section is a toe section and the hallux valgus is to be relieved, then all three knitted sections can connect to the fourth knitted section, with the first knitted section only partially encompassing the second and the second the third knitted section.
- the flat knitted part 1 shows a compressive knitted part according to the invention in the form of a flat knitted part 1, which is knitted as a stocking.
- the flat knitted part 1 consists of four knitted sections, namely a first knitted section 2, which is knitted with a compressive first plain weave.
- This first knitted section forms the compressive basic knitted fabric.
- a second knitted section 3 is knitted onto the first knitted section 2, which is knitted with a second type of weave that is different from the first basic weave.
- This second type of weave is selected in such a way that it gives the second knitted section greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction, preferably in both directions, than the first knitted section 2 has.
- a third knitted section 4 is knitted on the second knitted section 3, which is knitted with a third type of weave, which differs from the first two types of weave and is selected in such a way that it gives the third knitted section 4 an in turn greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or Transverse direction, preferably in both directions, imparts than the second knitted section 3 has.
- a third type of weave which differs from the first two types of weave and is selected in such a way that it gives the third knitted section 4 an in turn greater elasticity in the longitudinal and/or Transverse direction, preferably in both directions, imparts than the second knitted section 3 has.
- All knitted sections 2, 3 and 4 can be knitted with only one knitting thread and an elastic weft thread inserted into the knitted stitches.
- two knitting threads can also be used, with the elastic weft thread inserted into the stitches.
- one knitting thread can be largely inelastic and the other knitting thread can be elastic, just as both knitting threads can be inelastic or both knitting threads can be elastic.
- the threads used can be non-braided or braided.
- a fourth knitted section 5 is also provided, which forms the toe section. This is only knitted with the knitting thread or threads, but not with the weft thread.
- this fourth knitted section 5 is followed by all three knitted sections 2 , 3 and 4 .
- the first knitted section 2 surrounds the second knitted section 3 and the second knitted section 3 only partially surrounds the third knitted section 4 .
- the relief zone is formed over the second and third knitted section 3, 4 in the area of the hallux valgus in order not to compress it too much.
- the second and the third knitted section 3, 4 are knitted in the form of a ring or circle or ellipsoid etc., but here the respective knitted sections enclose each other completely.
- the second knitted section 3, which is only intended to create a soft transition of elasticity, can be knitted relatively narrowly, i.e. only a few stitches wide, compared to the third knitted section 4, which is the most elastic and provides the most significant pressure relief and is therefore knitted over a much larger area .
- This combination is only an example, other possible variations or other geometries are possible.
- the second knitted section 3 shows a section III of FIG 1 showing the first knitted section 2, the second knitted section 3 and the third knitted section 4, each in a partial view.
- the different types of binding and stitches are represented by the different symbols within the individual fields in the respective knitted section 2, 3 and 4.
- the first knitted section 2 is knitted with a compressive plain weave, for example a semi-tubular weave or a pure right-right weave. This is represented by the longitudinal symbols.
- the second knitted section 3 is knitted with a contrast softer, more elastic tuck binding, it forms a kind of transition zone between the first knitted section 2 and the third knitted section 4.
- the tuck binding is represented by the transverse symbols.
- the third knitted section 4 is knitted, for example, with an elastic right-right weave with partially transferred stitches, which results in an even greater elasticity of the knitted fabric.
- Two exemplary embodiments are described in more detail below as to how the individual knitted sections can be produced using different threads.
- the right-to-right binding is represented by the circular symbols, the transferred stitches by the cross symbols.
- FIG 3 shows a first example of a thread run for producing the three knitted sections 2, 3 and 4 or the different three types of binding.
- two knitting threads and one weft thread are used to form the knitted fabric.
- An RR knitting thread (right-to-right knitting thread), which is identified as RR in the figures below, and an RL knitting thread (right-to-left knitting thread), identified as RL in the figures below, are used as the knitting yarn. While the RR knitting thread is largely inelastic, the RL knitting thread is significantly more elastic.
- the weft thread is elastic and is marked with S in the figures.
- the first knitted section 2 is knitted. It a semi-tubular weave is knitted from the RR knitting thread and the RL knitting thread.
- the RR knitting thread is knitted with a RR binding on both needle beds of the flat knitting machine, i.e. a right-right binding.
- the RL knitting thread knitted only on the front needle bed is knitted with a RL binding, i.e. a right-left binding.
- the weft thread S is inserted into the stitches that are being formed.
- stitch row b all three knitted sections or all three different types of binding are knitted.
- the RR and RL knitting threads are knitted as described above for stitch row a to form the compressive semi-tubular basic knitted fabric.
- the second knitted section 3 is formed in the areas marked “3”.
- a tuck binding is knitted in which the RR knitting thread is knitted with tuck so that tuck loops 6 are formed, as shown in the course of the thread.
- the RL knitting thread is no longer knitted with an RL binding (as in area “2"), but now on both needle beds with an RR binding, i.e. a right-right binding.
- the tuck binding described, resulting from the knitting of the RR thread with tuck and the knitting of the RL thread with RR binding, leads to increased elasticity in area "3", i.e. in the second knitted area 3, compared to the highly compressive one First knitted area 2 having a semi-tubular base knitted weave.
- the third knitted section 4 adjoins the second knitted area, as is also shown in the stitch row b.
- the individual needles in this area are marked with "4" here.
- the RR thread is again knitted with a RR binding, as the course of the thread shows.
- individual stitches, here every second stitch are transferred from the front to the back needle bed.
- the RL thread which is still knitted with a RR binding, forms tuck loops 7, specifically on the needles on which the transferred RR stitches of the RR thread previously lay.
- the knitted section 4 see the stitch row b, is in turn adjoined by the area "3", ie the knitted section 3, which forms the transition area.
- the RR thread is again knitted with tuck, it forms tuck loop 6, while the RL thread, again on both needle beds, is knitted with RR binding.
- the adjoining area marked "2" which forms the first knitted section 2
- the RR thread is again knitted with a RR binding
- the RL thread is again knitted with a RL binding only on the front needle bed.
- This scheme is set in the in 3 shown rows c and d. Only the number or position of the stitches within the respective knitting areas “2", “3", “4" varies, as a comparison of stitch rows c and d with stitch row b, for example, shows. The number of transferred RR stitches in the area "4" also decreases, for example, after - see also 2 - The third knitted section 4 tapers elliptically and consequently becomes narrower. However, the basic knitting scheme remains the same within the respective areas, i.e.
- the respective first knitted section 2 is always knitted as a semi-tubular weave, while the second knitted section 3 is knitted as a tuck weave, while the third knitted section 4 is always knitted with a stitch transfer of the RR stitches of the RR thread and a RR knitted RL thread.
- the transferred stitches of a row are preferably offset by one needle in relation to the transferred stitches of the previous row, so that an offset “hole pattern” in the third knitted area 4 results.
- the Figures 4 - 7 show an example of a stitch pattern or sections thereof, as with a thread course according to 3 is formed. are shown in 4 the three knitted sections 2, 3 and 4. The RR thread RR and the RL thread RL are each shown, each of which forms the stitches. Only on the right edge according to 4 is also the weft thread S shown, he was for reasons of clarity in the other part of the figure as well as in the Figures 5 - 7 omitted.
- figure 5 shows the stitch pattern of the compressive first knitted section 2 in an enlarged view.
- the first type of basic weave is, as described, a half-tubular weave, the RR knitting thread is knitted with a RR weave on both needle beds.
- the RL knitting thread is knitted with an RL binding only on the front needle bed, like figure 5 displays.
- FIG. 6 shows an enlarged view of a detail from the second knitted section 3.
- the RR knitting thread is knitted with a tuck, so that it 6 shown tuck loop 6 forms.
- the RL knitting thread in turn is knitted here with RR binding on both needle beds.
- the row of stitches a shows a row of stitches of the first knitted section 2, ie the basic knitted area.
- the RR yarn is knitted with a RR-only weave on both needle beds.
- the weft thread S is inserted into the stitches formed.
- the stitch row b shows the thread course of a stitch row in which all three knitted sections 2, 3 and 4 are knitted.
- the RR knitting thread is again knitted with a RR binding, because it forms the first knitted section 2.
- the RR thread is again knitted with a RR binding.
- every other stitch is transferred from the front to the rear needle bed, and reverse transfer is also possible is.
- the third knitted section 4 is given even greater elasticity than the second knitted section 3 knitted with a pure tuck weave.
- next course c which is knitted onto the course b, for example, the RR yarn in the area "2" is still knitted with RR binding. In the "3" area, the knitting thread is knitted with a RR binding. This is necessary in order to knit the tuck loops 6 of the previous row b, since no two tuck loops should be on the same needle.
- the first knitted section 2 is again knitted with RR binding.
- Two tuck loops 6 are again shown in area “3”, which means that this row of stitches is again knitted with a tuck binding.
- Corresponding tuck loops 10 are again formed in area "4" after RR stitches have again been transferred from the front to the rear needle bed in row c, as shown by the transfer arrows there.
- the transferred stitches are offset to the transferred stitches of the previously knitted row of stitches, so that in the knitted stitch pattern the resulting holes of one row of stitches are offset to those of the other row of stitches.
- Stitch row g finally again shows a pure basic knitted row, ie the knitted area 2 with a pure RR weave.
- a stitch pattern, as it is with a thread course according to 8 results is in 9 shown.
- the RR knitting thread and the weft thread S are each shown Figures 10, 11 and 12 are shown somewhat highlighted.
- FIG. 10 shows a section of the compressive first knitted section 2.
- the RR knitting thread is knitted with a pure RR binding, the weft thread runs through the stitches formed.
- FIGS. 8-12 allow the three knitted sections 2, 3 and 4 to be produced with different types of binding and different transverse and longitudinal elasticity.
- the third knitted section 4 which is designed to be most elastic, creates a pressure relief zone that can be designed in any size, which is connected softly and with a constant pressure transfer profile to the first, highly compressive knitted section 2 via the second knitted section 2, which has a slightly lower elasticity.
- the knitted sections 3 and 4 can ultimately have any shape, they can be round, elliptical, square or rectangular, or have any other shape, ultimately depending on the geometry of the area to be relieved.
- the use of two knitting threads offers the possibility of producing a considerably high elasticity and thus pressure gradient between the first knitted section 2 , the second knitted section 3 and the third knitted section 4 .
- the use of only one knitting thread in the example a RR knitting thread, also allows the formation of an elasticity or pressure gradient, but not in the same dimension as when using two knitting threads.
- the use of two knitting threads also results in a visually more attractive stitch pattern than using only one knitting thread. Equally, however, the goal according to the invention is also achieved with only one knitting thread.
