Claims (11)
- Vorrichtung zum Bereitstellen eines zu umhüllenden Tabakstroms, um einen Tabakstock zu bilden, aufweisen eine Kammer (100) für Schnitttabakfüller (132);
einen Förderer (102) zum Aufnehmen des Schnitttabakfüllers (132) von der Kammer (100);
einen Trimmer (108) zum Entfernen des Tabaks von dem Förderer (102) ;
einen Empfänger (114) neben dem Trimmer (108) zum Empfangen des Schnitttabakfüllers (132), der von dem Tabak getrimmt wurde, auf dem Förderer (102);
einen Separator (118), der mit dem Empfänger (114) verbunden ist, zum Aufnehmen des Schnitttabakfüllers (132) davon und Trennen des aufgenommenen Schnitttabakfüllers (132) in einen wiederverwendbaren Abschnitt und einen Aussonderungsabschnitt;
einen Rückführpfad (126) von dem Separator zum Wiedereinführen des wiederverwendbaren Abschnitts in den Förderer (102) und
einen Luftstromgenerator, der einen Luftstrom von dem Empfänger (114) durch den Separator (118) erzeugt, sodass Schnitttabakfüller (132), der durch den Trimmer (108) entfernt wurde, in dem Luftstrom transportiert und zum Separator (118) gezogen wird,
wobei der Separator (118) aufweist:eine drehbare poröse Trenntrommel (216), die kleine Partikel an Tabak in das Innere der Trenntrommel (216) zulässt, aber keine größeren Stücke Tabak, wobei das Innere der Trenntrommel (216) mit dem Luftstromgenerator verbunden ist, sodass der Luftstrom von dem Empfänger (114) durch die Trenntrommel (216) gezogen wird; undMittel zum Blockieren des Luftstroms über einem Teil der zylindrischen Fläche der Trenntrommel (216), während diese sich dreht, sodass die größeren Stücke Schnitttabakfüller (132) die Fläche der Trenntrommel (216) verlassen und in den Rückführpfad eintreten können. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Rückführpfad vom Separator (118) zum Wiedereinführen des wiederverwendbaren Abschnitts in den Förderer (102) die Kammer (100) für den Schnitttabakfüller (132) einschließt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei der Förderer (102) ein Endlosband ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Band durchlässig ist und ein Vakuum auf einer Seite des Bandes gezogen werden kann, um Schnitttabakfüller (132) auf der anderen Seite zurückzuhalten.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Separator (118) weiter aufweist:eine obere Kammer (212) zum Aufnehmen des überschüssigen Tabaks von dem Empfänger (114), die mindestens einen oberen Teil der sich drehenden Trenntrommel (216) enthält;eine untere Kammer (214);eine Luftschleuse zwischen der oberen Kammer (212) und der unteren Kammer (214), die erlaubt, dass wiederverwendbarer Schnitttabakfüller (132) von der oberen Kammer (212) zur unteren Kammer (214) hindurchgeht, während sie im Wesentlichen verhindert, dass ein Luftstrom in die untere Kammer (214) hindurchgeht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, wobei die Luftschleuse einen drehbaren Luftschleusenzylinder (222) aufweist, der unter der Trenntrommel (216) und im Wesentlichen in der unteren Kammer parallel zur Trenntrommel (216) angeordnet ist und sich axial erstreckende elastische Schaufeln (224) aufweist, die im Gebrauch auf die zylindrische Fläche der drehenden Trenntrommel (216) auftreffen, wobei der Umfangsabstand der Schaufeln (224) derart ist, dass mindestens eine Schaufel während der Drehbewegung des Luftschleusenzylinders (222) in Kontakt mit der Trenntrommel (216) ist.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, weiter aufweisend eine Druckluftversorgung zum Inneren der sich drehenden Trenntrommel (216), die betätigbar ist, um Tabak von der äußeren zylindrischen Fläche des sich drehenden porösen Zylinders zu entfernen.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei der Rückführpfad (126) von dem Separator (216) zum Wiedereinführen des wiederverwendbaren Abschnitts des Schnitttabakfüllers (132) in den Förderer (102) von dem Separator zu der Kammer (100) für Schnitttabakfüller (132) verläuft.
- Verfahren zum Bereitstellen eines zu umhüllenden Tabakstroms, um einen Tabakstock zu bilden, aufweisend:Bereitstellen eines Stroms von Schnitttabakfüller (132) auf einem Förderer (102);Trimmen von Tabak von dem Tabak auf dem Förderer (102);Trennen des Tabaks, der von dem Strom getrimmt wurde, in einen wiederverwendbaren Abschnitt und einen Aussonderungsabschnitt; undZurückführen des wiederverwendbaren Abschnitts zu dem Förderer (102),wobei der Trennschritt unter Verwendung einer sich drehenden porösen Trenntrommel (216) erreicht wird,weiter aufweisend das periodische Entfernen von angesammeltem Tabak von einer Fläche der Trenntrommel (216) mit Druckluft.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei der wiederverwendbare Abschnitt des Schnitttabakfüllers (132) zu dem Förderer (102) zurückgeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, wobei der wiederverwendbare Abschnitt des Schnitttabakfüllers (132) zu der Kammer (100) für Schnitttabakfüller (132) zurückgeführt wird, bevor er zu dem Förderer (102) zurückgeführt wird.
