Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de revêtement pour le revêtement de composants, en particulier pour le revêtement de composants de carrosserie de véhicules automobiles dans une installation de mise en peinture. Le procédé de revêtement selon l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes : le déplacement d'un appareil d'application au-dessus d'une surface du composant à revêtir le long d'une voie de revêtement prédéterminée (1) et l'application d'un jet d'agent de revêtement au moyen de l'appareil d'application sur la surface du composant. Selon l'invention, le jet d'agent de revêtement est appliqué pendant que l'appareil d'application se déplace au-dessus de la surface du composant. Le jet d'agent de revêtement est en outre produit pour ne pas être à symétrie de rotation par rapport à son axe de jet et provoque donc sur la surface du composant une image injectée oblongue (2) ayant un sens longitudinal déterminé (7). L'invention vise en outre à mettre en œuvre les étapes suivantes : la rotation de l'appareil d'application autour de l'axe du jet par rapport à la voie de revêtement (1) pendant le déplacement de l'appareil d'application de manière que la position de l'angle (a) du sens longitudinal (7) de l'image injectée (2) varie par rapport au sens transversal de la voie (12) le long de la voie de revêtement (1).
