Description
The present invention refers to an extendable awning pull arm, the features of which give it more mounting options over existing arms. In particular, the arm which is the subject of the present invention allows the prestressing of the internal elastic element without a tool provided for this purpose being necessary.
Extensible traction arms of the front traction bar of a blind are known, of the type which comprise a first arm element and a second arm element articulated between them.
On these arms the first arm element consists of a first profile, on which is located at its ends a first articulation end with the second arm element and a second connecting end to the front traction bar and the second element consists of a second profile on which is located at its ends a first end of articulation with the first arm element and a second end of connection to a fixed support of the end of the arm.
Inside the arm is a traction element provided with a first end, a second end and an elastic element disposed between the two ends. The first end of the traction element is integral with the first articulation end of the first arm member and the second end of the traction element is integral with the second end.
The elastic member is stressed so that in the equilibrium position in the absence of other forces, the arm is extended. The movable ends of the arms are connected to the front drawbar. The ends are attached to a fixed component of the blind, where the roller box is usually located.
Therefore, the arms are unfolded by pushing by their mobile end the traction bar, which unrolls the fabric of the blind. To store the awning, the roller must overcome the pulling force of the elastic elements, so that the arms can bend.
In order for the arms to move the front bar and unwind the canvas, and additionally keep the canvas taut, the elastic element, which is usually a coil spring, must be tightly stretched to ensure sufficient force to overcome the resistance of the canvas. . In order to be able to carry out the prestressing, it is necessary to have a special tool, which implies limits concerning the place in which the assembly of the arm can be carried out.
It often happens that an intermediary customer needs to give a particular look to the arm, in particular to paint it a certain color. However, the manufacturer of the arms usually has to be the one who has the spring preload tool, which implies that the latter has to paint the arms himself before sending them to the intermediary customer, who usually does not have of the tool. Therefore, this supposes that the latter must carry out the painting operation himself before sending them to the intermediate customer, which implies high costs of differentiated treatment and storage, more particularly in the case of limited series.
- b) Obtenir un élément de traction pourvu d'une première extrémité, d'une deuxième extrémité et d'un élément élastique disposé entre les deux extrémités, l'élément de traction comprenant un tronçon de longueur réglable entre sa deuxième extrémité et l'élément élastique, le tronçon étant de longueur réglable pourvu d'une tige filetée et d'un tube fileté qui coopère avec la tige filetée;
- a) Obtain a first arm element and a second arm element, the first arm element consisting of a first profile, a first articulation end with the second arm element and a second link end to the front pull-up bar, the second arm element consisting of a second profile, a first articulation end with the first arm element and a second connecting end a fixed support of the end of the arms,
- b) Obtain a traction element provided with a first end, a second end and an elastic element arranged between the two ends, the traction element comprising a section of adjustable length between its second end and the element elastic, the section being of adjustable length provided with a threaded rod and a threaded tube which cooperates with the threaded rod;
- c) Articulate the two arm elements by their articulation ends, so as to configure an articulation,
- d) Anchor the first end of the traction element to the first articulation end of the first arm element,
- e) Anchor the second end of the traction element to the second end,
- f) Screw the threaded rod onto the threaded tube until the desired tension of the elastic element is obtained.
- a first arm element and a second arm element,
- the first arm element consisting of a first profile, a first end of articulation with the second arm element and a second end of connection to the front traction bar,
- the second arm element consisting of a second profile, a first articulation end with the first arm element and a second connecting end a fixed support for the end of the arm,
- the two arm elements being articulated by means of an articulation,
la première extrémité de l'élément de traction étant solidaire de la première extrémité d'articulation du premier élément de bras, la deuxième extrémité de l'élément de traction étant solidaire de la deuxième extrémité, dans lequel l'élément de traction comprend un tronçon de longueur réglable entre sa deuxième extrémité et l'élément élastique, le tronçon de longueur réglable étant pourvu d'une tige filetée et d'un tube fileté qui coopère avec la tige filetée, et dans lequel la première extrémité de l'élément de traction est un anneau, et dans lequel l'extrémité d'articulation avec le deuxième élément de bras du premier élément de bras comprend une rainure accessible depuis l'extérieur pourvue à son tour d'une saillie au contour circulaire pour l'ancrage de la première extrémité de l'élément de traction.the first end of the traction element being integral with the first articulation end of the first arm element, the second end of the traction element being integral with the second end, in which the traction element comprises a section of adjustable length between its second end and the elastic element, the section of adjustable length being provided with a threaded rod and a threaded tube which cooperates with the threaded rod, and in which the first end of the traction element is a ring, and in which the end of articulation with the second arm element of the first arm element comprises an externally accessible groove provided in turn with a projection of circular contour for anchoring the first end of the traction element.
Thus, it is not necessary for the assembly step to have a special tool like the one mentioned above, the arm can then be mounted in any place where there are means for mutually thread the threaded rod and the threaded tube. Furthermore, it is a compact solution which enables the anchoring part to be obtained by molding the articulation end of the first arm element.
In some embodiments, the resilient member has a proximal end closer to the second arm end of the second arm member and a distal end closer to the joint and wherein the second end of the traction member corresponds to the The end of the threaded rod and the threaded tube is provided with means for anchoring the proximal end of the elastic element.
Thus, a configuration allowing access to the end of the rod thread is possible, which can be provided with an orifice for its rotary actuation by means of a tool, such as for example an Allen key or similar.
In some embodiments, the anchoring means are arranged at the end of the threaded tube.
In some embodiments, the anchoring means are arranged on the outer surface of the threaded tube.
In some embodiments, the traction element comprises an inextensible traction section, the end of which corresponds to the first end of the traction element and the other end of which is connected to the distal end of the elastic element.
In some embodiments, the inextensible traction section consists of a cable passed in duplicate and the ends of which are arranged as connecting rings at the distal end of the elastic element, so that the central part of the cable is arranged as an anchor, with the cable arranged inside a rectangular section sheath.
The sheath offers in the context of the present invention the advantages mentioned in the utility model U200700021 of the same holder and relating to a traction element for articulated arms, namely, it makes it possible to protect both the cable and the elements of arm, and also offers an attractive aesthetic appearance, because the cable is not visible. In particular, the present invention allows the cable to pass through the exterior of the joint without the cables being visible.
In certain embodiments, the end of articulation with the second arm element of the first arm element comprises a housing with a section complementary to the rectangular section of the sheath.
With this configuration, a perfect fit is obtained between the sheath and the housing, which also offers great aesthetic quality, since the outer surface of the joint can be perfectly cylindrical.
In some embodiments, the arm comprises a cover of the assembly consisting of the groove and the projection.
This cover makes it possible to hide, in the same way as the sheath, the parts which configure the anchoring, which guarantees an aesthetic quality of the articulation of the arm.
In some embodiments, the projection and the cover include mutual coupling means.
In some embodiments, the second end of the second arm element comprises a through orifice for the partial accommodation of the section of adjustable length, the through orifice being provided with a conical flare at its distal end, and a flare of constant section. at its proximal end which defines a bearing surface for the head of a visible end of the section of adjustable length.
In some embodiments, the arm includes means for preventing rotation of the threaded tube. Preferably, said means consist of a pin which passes through the threaded tube, the length of the pin being at least greater than the smallest of the transverse dimensions of the internal housing of the housing profile of the threaded tube.
It is thus possible to prevent the torque caused by the screwing of the threaded rod on the threaded tube from being transmitted to the elastic element, and therefore to allow the rod to be screwed more effectively.
- b) Obtenir un élément de traction pourvu d'une première extrémité, d'une deuxième extrémité et d'un élément élastique disposé entre les deux extrémités, l'élément de traction comprenant un tronçon de longueur réglable entre sa deuxième extrémité et l'élément élastique, le tronçon de longueur réglable étant pourvu d'une tige filetée et d'un tube filetée qui coopère avec la tige filetée ;
- d) Ancrer la première extrémité de l'élément de traction sur la première extrémité d'articulation du premier élément de bras ;

- b) Obtain a traction element provided with a first end, a second end and an elastic element arranged between the two ends, the traction element comprising a section of adjustable length between its second end and the element elastic, the adjustable length section being provided with a threaded rod and a threaded tube which cooperates with the threaded rod;
- c) Articulate the two arm elements by their articulation ends, so as to configure an articulation,
- d) Anchor the first end of the traction element to the first articulation end of the first arm element;
- e) Anchor the second end of the traction element to the second end,
- f) Screw the threaded rod onto the threaded tube until the desired tension is obtained on the elastic element,
This method makes it possible to circumvent the shortcomings of the state of the art, given that the operations d), e) and f) do not need a particular tool for the operation of prestressing the elastic element. .
Therefore, once the elements of steps a) and b) have been produced in one place, the other operations can be carried out in another place. In particular, in this second place, a painting operation can be carried out, before proceeding with steps c) to f), to produce small series of arms with particular colors.
De préférence, l'élément élastique a une extrémité proximale plus proche de la deuxième extrémité du deuxième élément de bras et une extrémité distale plus proche de l'articulation et dans lequel la deuxième extrémité de l'élément de traction correspond à l'extrémité de la tige filetée et le tube fileté est pourvu à l'une de ses extrémités de moyens d'ancrage de l'extrémité proximale de l'élément élastique, dans lequel la deuxième extrémité du deuxième élément de bras comprend un orifice traversant pour le logement partiel du tronçon de longueur réglable, l'orifice traversant étant pourvu d'un évasement conique à son extrémité distale, et d'un évasement de section constante à son extrémité proximale qui définit une surface d'appui pour la tête d'une extrémité apparente du tronçon de longueur réglable, de sorte que l'on puisse réaliser confortablement et facilement l'étape e).Preferably, the resilient member has a proximal end closer to the second end of the second arm member and a distal end closer to the joint and wherein the second end of the traction member matches the end of the arm member. the threaded rod and the threaded tube is provided at one of its ends with means for anchoring the proximal end of the elastic element, in which the second end of the second arm element comprises a through-hole for the partial accommodation of the section of adjustable length, the through orifice being provided with a conical flare at its distal end, and a flare of constant section at its proximal end which defines a bearing surface for the head of a visible end of the adjustable length section, so that step e) can be carried out comfortably and easily.
Finally, the method includes an additional step of coupling a cover of the assembly consisting of the groove and the projection.
