Definitions
- the invention relates to a screw of a solid bowl screw centrifuge having a screw hub extending along a longitudinal axis and a screw spiral surrounding the screw hub.
- the invention further relates to a use of such a screw in a solid bowl screw centrifuge.
- Solid bowl centrifuges are characterized by a closed or full shell drum.
- the drum is rotated at high speed, whereby an in-drum, multiphase mixture can be separated into at least one heavy phase and one light phase.
- the heavy phase is usually a solid phase, which is conveyed out of the drum by means of a screw.
- the screw is rotatably mounted in the drum relative to this and has a spiral screw which is arranged around a screw hub.
- the spiral screw sweeps along the inner side or inner circumferential surface of the drum and thus promotes the material of the heavy phase to an axial end portion of the drum and there in particular from a discharge cone out.
- the multi-phase mixture to be clarified is thus between the inside of the drum and the screw hub.
- a large pond depth is sought, in particular for clarification reasons. At the same time is the pond depth but limited by the diameter of the screw hub and there resulting buoyancy and deposition effects of the mixture to be clarified or the light phase.
- the diameter of the screw hub can not be reduced indefinitely because it would adversely affect the rigidity of the screw and its stability.
- Out WO 2012 014031 A1 is a screw of a solid bowl centrifuge with a along a longitudinal axis extending screw hub and a worm gear surrounding the screw helix known.
- the screw hub has a cylindrical and a conical longitudinal section. Both longitudinal sections are designed with a grid structure.
- the invention has for its object to provide a Vollmantelschneckenzentrifuge with a screw whose screw hub can dip into the mixture to be separated, without causing disadvantages in terms of stiffness and also the mentioned buoyancy and deposits.
- a screw of a solid bowl screw centrifuge according to claim 1 In the screw of a solid bowl screw centrifuge according to the invention, its screw hub or screw body is partially made of a lattice structure designed. This lattice structure is basically not closed to the outside, but open and can therefore immerse in the pond of circulating in the drum, to be clarified mixture without problems caused by buoyancy forces. With the embodiment of the lattice structure according to the invention, it is possible to ensure that sedimenting particles, which sink from the mixture to be clarified in the direction of the drum inside, do not adhere to the lattice structure. Such particles slide from the grid structure according to the invention rather radially outward or in the outer region of the drum. Another advantage of the screw hub according to the invention lies in the fact that the region in which material to be clarified is discharged from an inlet pipe in the center of the drum can be freely selected in the axial direction.
- the screw hub has a cylindrical longitudinal section and at least one conical longitudinal section, and the section in which the screw hub is designed with a grid structure is the cylindrical longitudinal section.
- the lattice structure according to the invention is located in a cylindrical longitudinal section of the screw and can be made according to particularly simple and inexpensive.
- the conical longitudinal section of the screw hub is designed according to the invention with a closed lateral surface.
- the thus designed with a closed lateral surface conical longitudinal section is particularly easy to manufacture and also gives the screw according to the invention a particularly high rigidity.
- the conical longitudinal section is advantageously designed to be hollow overall and closed in a fluid-tight manner, so that no material to be clarified or clarified can penetrate into its interior.
- the screw hub advantageously has at least one longitudinal section, which comprises a screw bearing, in which the screw hub is designed with a closed lateral surface.
- the worm bearing is thus surrounded in this development by a closed lateral surface and accordingly not only stored particularly stiff, but at the same time protected against entry of clarified or clarified good in its inner storage area.
- the grid structure is also advantageously designed with at least one transverse disc, which extends in particular in the form of an annular disc over the entire circumference of the screw hub.
- the lattice structure is also preferably designed with at least one longitudinal bar, which extends in particular over a transverse disk and particularly preferably over the entire length of the portion in the longitudinal direction.
- Such longitudinal bars are easy to process and provide for the subsequent attachment of a screw hub on the screw hub according to the invention an advantageous backbone.
- the grid structure is designed in particular with at least one oblique strut, which extends in particular obliquely to the longitudinal axis between two transverse slices.
- oblique struts are advantageous between the two transverse slices, in particular by means of a welded joint to install stationary with high rigidity.
- connections can be made very simply because simply shaped contact surfaces result at the transverse disks.
- the oblique strut protrudes advantageously at its end into the adjacent transverse disc.
- the intrusion of the diagonal strut into the associated transverse disk there is also a form-fitting connection by means of which, in particular, the grid structure can also be pre-positioned.
- a total of three oblique struts across the circumference of the screw hub are arranged evenly distributed spaced.
- three oblique struts surprisingly results in a favorable optimum in terms of many Factors such as cost, manufacturability, stiffness, fatigue strength, and functionality with respect to immersion in the pond.
- the invention is also directed specifically to a use of such a screw according to the invention in a solid bowl screw centrifuge.
- a solid bowl screw centrifuge 10 which extends substantially along a horizontal longitudinal axis 12.
- the solid bowl centrifuge 10 has an outer housing 14 in which a drum 16 is rotatably mounted about the longitudinal axis 12. By rotating the drum 16 at high speed can be generated in this a centrifugal force, by means of a to be clarified good in a heavy and a light phase can be separated.
- the drum 16 is supported on a first drum bearing 18 and a second drum bearing 20.
- the drum 16 has an inlet 22 for the material to be clarified, a heavy phase outlet 24 and a light phase outlet 26.
- a drive 28 is provided for rotating the drum 16.
- the outlet 26 acts as an overflow for the light phase located radially inside the drum 16, so that it exits there automatically, if in the drum 16, a predetermined level, the so-called pond depth is reached.
- a screw 30 is provided in the drum 16. The worm 30 is rotated by means of the drive 28 relative to the drum 16 and thereby discharged the material of the heavy phase along a cone formed on the drum 16 radially inward and thus to the outlet 24.
- the worm 30 is designed for this purpose with a longitudinally extending along the longitudinal axis 12 screw hub 32, which is surrounded radially outwardly by a worm 34.
- the worm hub 32 thus serves to support the worm gear 34 in the radial direction, to transmit torque from the drive 28 to the worm gear 34 and in particular to absorb tensile forces and shear forces.
- the screw hub 32 has a cylindrical longitudinal section 36 and an axially adjoining conical longitudinal section 38. It is rotatably supported by means of a first screw bearing 40 and a second screw bearing 42. As in Fig. 1 can be seen, is in a screw hub 32 according to the prior art over the entire longitudinal extent, so both in the cylindrical longitudinal section 36 and in the conical longitudinal section 38 whose lateral surface 44 is substantially closed or full surface, in particular by means of a sheet or a Pipe surface designed. Only there, where one Inlet pipe 46 for supplying material to be clarified ends centrally in an inlet region 48 into the interior of the screw hub 32, individual openings 50 are provided in the lateral surface 44, through which the material to be clarified can pass radially outward.
- a pond depth 52 of this solid bowl screw centrifuge 10 is essentially limited by the outer radius or the outer diameter of the screw hub 32 to a comparatively large radius or diameter.
- Embodiments of solid bowl centrifuges 10 are illustrated, which make it possible and which are also intended to ensure that the screw hub 32 is permanently immersed in the material to be clarified.
- the associated screw hub 32 is designed in the cylindrical longitudinal section 36 and especially exclusively in this section with a grid structure 56.
- the grid structure 56 is designed by means of twelve longitudinal bars 58 which are arranged distributed over the circumference of the screw hub 32 in the longitudinal direction thereof, ie, parallel to the longitudinal axis 12, at uniform intervals.
- the invention preferred number of longitudinal bars 58 is between eight and sixteen, in particular between ten and fourteen.
- the longitudinal bars 58 form radially outwardly each a contact surface for the screw helix 34 and are supported radially on transverse discs 60.
- the longitudinal bars 58 extend beyond the transverse discs 60, which are aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis 12 and thus form an inner support for the longitudinal bars 58.
- the transverse discs 60 are designed radially inwardly by means of a central opening 62 hollow in the form of an annular disc, so that in particular the inlet tube 46 can extend through it.
- each two transverse discs 60 extend between two and six oblique struts 64.
- oblique struts 64 In the embodiment according to Fig. 5 and 6 there are three oblique struts 64 and in the embodiment according to Fig. 7 four oblique struts 64.
- These oblique struts 64 are inclined to the longitudinal axis at an angle of between 30 ° and 40 °, preferably between 33 ° and 37 °, in this case of 35 ° and are cut at each end obliquely and welded to the adjacent transverse disc 60.
- the respective oblique strut 64 preferably protrudes into a depression (not shown) on the transverse disc 60. By means of this depression, the oblique strut 64 is advantageously positively coupled to the transverse disc 60 and for the assembly of the grid structure, which is quite difficult with the required small dimensional tolerances, easier and more precise position.
- FIG. 6 In addition to the in Fig. 5 and 7 in cross-section respectively round and solid designed longitudinal bars 58 and oblique struts 64 are in Fig. 6 various advantageous cross-sectional shapes 66 for the longitudinal bars 58 illustrated.
- a hexagonal shape is advantageous in terms of a uniform bending moment distribution and also on a flow of material from radially inward to radially outward.
- a rectangular shape is advantageous in terms of the thus achieved, different sized two bending moments in the radial direction and in the circumferential direction.
- a triangular shape is advantageous because there is a wide radially outer surface for the screw helix 34 results and yet good easily can flow from the inside out.
- a semi-circular shape is a good compromise, whereby semi-circular material can be procured much more cost-effectively.
- a hollow mold in particular a circular tube shape high bending moments can be achieved with low material requirements and low weight.
- a square shape is inexpensive to procure and just then advantageous when two of the corners are aligned in the radial direction. Then the diagonal bending moment axes of this shape are also advantageously used.
- a wide contact surface for the screw hub 32 can also be provided radially on the outside.
Description

Fig. 5 in alternativer Ausgestaltung.
