Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a door, in particular aluminum front door with a composite of individual frame profiles frame and a hinged door mounted therefrom of a revolving sash profile, wherein between the frame profile and sash profile inner and outer stop seals are arranged made of elastic material and wherein between frame and door a Shadow joint is formed.
  • a generic door consists essentially of a frame construction, a 3-sided circumferential frame profile with a stop on the outside or inside (depending on the type of opening), and a door, consisting of a 3-sided circumferential door leaf profile and a door base profile (door sill) or a 4-sided circumferential door leaf profile ( DE 10 2012 111005 A1 ).
  • the sealing takes place in the region of the shadow gap via a seal, also called stop seal, which can be arranged both in the frame and in the sash profile.
  • the stop seal is arranged on different levels, hereinafter referred to as sealing levels.
  • the outer sealing plane is formed vertically and horizontally in the frame by an abutment seal, the inner sealing plane is located vertically on the wing by a stop seal and horizontally above.
  • the arrangement of the seals is exactly the opposite, that is in the frame is formed by a stop seal vertically and horizontally above the inner sealing level, the outer sealing level is located on the wing by a stop seal vertically and horizontally above.
  • the second possibility is a centrally arranged, usually centered (relative to the tread depth) arranged bottom seal, with the ability to seal laterally to the frame.
  • This can be realized both by means of a per se known automatic lowering seal, magnetic seal or drag seal or a combination thereof, such a seal is also referred to as a threshold seal.
  • This results in the three inner, middle and outer sealing planes which are separated from each other by the plane intersection, so that a potential weak point with respect to the watertightness of the roadway arises, above all, at the ends of the respective seal.
  • the middle sealing level in the threshold area here a special role, as this is at the lowest point of all sealing levels, so that water (possibly also caused by leaks further above in the door construction) accumulate before this point and the threshold seal in addition can burden.
  • Another both known and effective measure is the use of a weatherboard in the door threshold, which is arranged at the bottom of the door base profile or door leaf profile over the entire wing width.
  • the discharge, the depth of the weatherboard and a drip edge, the running down from the top of the door water is further led forward, so that the amount of water dripping onto the threshold is significantly reduced.
  • the weatherboard or the weathershank end caps necessary for the covering of the open profile cutting edges terminate in each case on the surface flanking the shadow gap in the door leaf profile, so that water which flows down from above over the cross section of the shadow joints can bypass the weatherstrip.
  • the profile edge at the end of the shadow gap then allows part of the water to drip directly down to the threshold - with the drip point offset by the depth of the shadow inside the door construction.
  • the water by design first runs around the weatherboard end cap to the lower edge of the weatherboard and from there to the lower profile edge or the profile sectional area of the vertical door leaf profile, and migrates along the lower profile edge or the profile section surface of the door leaf profile in Direction middle sealing plane, where it comes then just before the threshold seal due to the edge tear to drip on the threshold.
  • the drip points are in close proximity to the side seal ends of the threshold seal (which is the weak point of the sealing plane). With increasing irrigation time, both outer and outer collects also more center on the threshold more and more water, which can not flow through the very low or non-existent slope of the threshold, resulting from the very low threshold height. This increases the risk that the middle sealing level at the two ends will sooner or later be under- or over-migrated by the capillary action of the water, which in turn is equivalent to a failure of the sealing function of the entire door closure.
  • a known measure is the direct drainage through openings in the door sill in the area of the middle sealing level.
  • the water is discharged to the outside within the sleeper construction.
  • the disadvantage is especially the associated with increasing use of the outer door natural and hardly avoidable pollution of the door sill and thus also the drainage system, which may lead to a reduction in drainage performance to complete failure of the drainage system. For this reason, this principle will not be discussed further below.
  • the invention is based on the object, an outer door cover for stop doors with threshold or threshold-free stop doors or interruption of the outer Schofugenabdichtung (for example, roller belts) to design and further develop that the resulting surface water in the joints controlled discharged and thus the watertightness is improved. Furthermore, it is desirable that a solution to this problem can be retrofitted to existing exterior doors.
  • a water drainage-improving guide element is used at the respective end of the outer stop seal.
  • the degree of advancement of the leg of the baffle should not be greater than the depth of the weather leg used for optical reasons, but large enough to the drip point no longer above the actual threshold but ideally directly above a outside of the outer door drainage system position so that the water can get directly into the designated drainage without any detours.
  • the door opens inwardly and the outer stop seal in the frame profile, that is arranged stationary.
  • the door opens to the outside and the outer stop seal is arranged in the sash profile, so when moving the door away from the window frame profile.
  • the base portion of the door is designed with a threshold with a low threshold height, wherein the door can also be designed as a so-called., Zero barrier door ', d. H. without a threshold (sticking out of the ground).
  • the threshold drainage facilities occur here the biggest problems in persistent rainfall situations.
  • the door leaf outside in the region of the door threshold has a weather leg for discharging rainwater.
  • end caps are preferably arranged at both ends of the weatherboard in order to minimize the proportion of the rainwater penetrating laterally under the weatherboard, in particular during driving rain, as far as possible.
  • a, preferably lowerable, threshold seal is provided between the lower frame profile and the door threshold.
  • a seal can exist as 'automatic' Absenkdichtung, magnetic seal or drag seal as well as a combination of the solutions mentioned.
  • each guide element is firmly connected at its respective connection region with the outer stop seal.
  • the guide element and the lower surface of the stopper seal can be glued together or vulcanized together.
  • the guide element has an upwardly projecting connecting web for facilitating the connection with the outer stop seal disposed above.
  • the door is hinged by means of several roller bands on the frame profile and above each roller belt, a guide element is provided. It is expedient if the guide element projects so far out of the shadow gap that the rainwater can flow away via the upper end of the roller belt.
  • the guide element in the lower region has a collecting and Ableitkragen embracing the extended outer stop seal. It is of particular advantage if each guide element, as well as the other stop seals, are made of elastic material.
  • the guide element can be formed in one piece with the end cap of the weatherboard.
  • Fig. 1 shows in a view from the outside a front door with a peripheral window frame 1, which is composed of three frame profiles 2 and a threshold profile 15 and a hinged thereto door 3 from a circumferential sash profile. 4
  • the frame profile 2 is composed of an inner profile 2i and an outer profile 2a and that the two profiles 2i, 2a are interconnected by means of two web elements 5A and 5B.
  • the web element 5B is covered by a clipped on it aperture 6A.
  • the cavity between the web elements 5A and 5B is filled with an insulating body 7A.
  • the sash profile 4 consists of an inner profile 4i and an outer profile 4a, which in turn spaced by means of web elements 5C and 5D connected to each other.
  • the web element 5C is covered by a clipped-on aperture 6B.
  • the cavity between the inner profile 4i and the outer profile 4a is filled by a further insulating body 7B.
  • a filler 8 is provided, which also acts insulating.
  • an inner stop seal 9i and an outer stop seal 9a ensure the necessary tightness.
  • an outer stop seal 9a In addition to the seals 9i and 9a one recognizes in each case an unspecified but hereinafter described shadow joint SF, which extends over the entire height of the door leaf.
  • the door panel consists of a triple glass pane 10, which is secured by means of retaining strips 11 A and 11 B in the door profile 4.
  • Fig. 3A first shows a vertical section in the base area along the line III-III in Fig. 1 ,
  • the structure of the sash profile 4 corresponds to the previously based Fig. 2 described.
  • a threshold seal 14 which is lowered in the illustrated embodiment, down to the underlying door sill 15.
  • the door sill 15 initially consists of an inner profile 16i and an outer profile 16a, which are spaced apart by means of a web member 17.
  • the upper termination is formed by an inner threshold seal 18i, an outer threshold seal 18a, and a ridged surface threshold grating 18r to improve slip resistance.
  • the weatherboard 12 which is mounted in the lower region of the outer sash profile 4a and ensures that the door leaf running out water is led away from the door sill 15. in the Weather legs 12 is also a brush seal 12 B arranged in front of the threshold 15, which intercepts high-splash water.
  • Fig. 4A you can see the lower part of the shadow gap SF at the lower left corner of the door Fig.1 in enlarged and partially cut representation. It can be seen clearly that the shadow gap SF is internally sealed by the outer stop seal 9a, but this can lead to difficulties in the base area if a part of the down-shooting water reaches the threshold area. For this reason, the present invention provides that at the respective lower end of the outer stop seal 9a in the shadow gap SF each acting as a seal closure guide element 19A is provided. This guide element 19A ensures that the downflowing water is discharged in the direction of the upstream connection area in order not to be able to get between the outer and middle sealing levels, as in FIG Fig. 3B is shown, in which no guide element is present.
  • Fig. 4B shows a further perspective view of the area Fig. 4A , wherein the door is shown raised for better illustration, so that the guide element 19A is also recognizable from the inside.
  • the guide element has a collection and Ableitkragen 20 embracing the extended outer stopper seal 9a to also absorb such water that overcomes the outer stopper seal 9a and at this inside the profile runs down. When installed, this collecting and Ableitkragen 20 is covered by the weatherboard 12.
  • This construction is in Fig. 4C to recognize even more clearly, in which the corresponding frame area is shown in perspective enlarged from the inside.
  • Figs. 5A to 5C Now show the first embodiment of a guide element 19A according to the invention in various representations, namely in perspective in Fig. 5A , as well as in a side view ( Fig. 5B ) and in a back view ( Fig. 5C ).
  • the guide element 19A has a vertically extending fastening body which corresponds to the stop seal 9a from its cross section. This area ends at the top with a flat surface 19A ', which forms the connection area to the outer stop seal 9a.
  • a corresponding connecting web 19A "provides an even better connection in which a further surface is created with which the lower region of the stop seal 9a can be connected, preferably glued or vulcanized, to the guiding element 19A and Ableitkragen 20, wherein by the Figs. 5B and 5C It quickly becomes clear that water flowing downwards on the stopper seal 9a is deflected via this collecting and discharging collar 20 in the direction of the upstream connecting region.
  • FIG. 6 Now shows a further embodiment of a front door according to the invention with a frame 1 ', in turn composed of frame profiles 22. Attached thereto, this time outwardly opening, a door 3' from a circumferential sash profile 24th
  • Fig. 7 shows that - with largely the same structure in comparison with Fig. 2 -
  • the position of the stop seals 9i and 9a is "reversed", so that here the inner stop seal 9i is stationary and the outer stop seal 9a together with the door 3' when opening the door from the frame. 1 'moved away.
  • the water problem in the area of the shadow gap SF is not different in this alternative embodiment than in the first embodiment, as from Fig. 8 evident. It can be seen that here too, the impact water channeled with the arrows, which is channeled into the shadow joint SF, can be a problem in the threshold region 15, if it is not distracted sufficiently from the threshold region. This serves as if from Fig. 9A can be seen, this time on the outer casement 24 a fixed guide element 19 B, which in turn is arranged in the region of the end cap 13 of the weatherboard 12. The exact arrangement can be clearly the Fig. 9B take a perspective view obliquely from the bottom inside.
  • the guide element 19B represents the "extension" of the bottom stop stopper seals 9a.
  • Fig. 9C with explosively raised sash profile 4 shows that the guide element is hidden in this illustration by the weatherboard 12 and the end cap 13 plugged thereon.
  • Fig. 10 and 11 It is shown that even further guide elements 19B can be used in the case of an outwardly opening door. Namely, where the stopper seal 9a is interrupted due to the design, above the respectively associated with the frame 22 roller belt 21. It is quickly clear that here the shadow joints are divided into several sections, which each end above a roller belt 21 down. Fig. 10A makes it clear that the guide element 19B, the water from the shadow gap leads such that it can flow over the upper end 23 of the roller belt 21. A corresponding enlarged view is in 10B played.
