Description
The present invention relates to a cupboard according to the preamble of claim 1.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide cupboard furniture with a rail for a sliding door fitting that is simple and inexpensive to manufacture.
This object is achieved with a cupboard with the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, the rail is made in one piece from a bent sheet metal, so that the use of material is reduced compared to extruded extruded profiles. As a result, the rail can be produced effectively and inexpensively, and smaller quantities can also be produced.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bent sheet has a thickness between 0.4 mm and 3 mm, in particular 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm. As a result, the rail can be produced depending on the weight load, whereby rails can be made thinner for smaller and lighter sliding sashes than for heavier sliding doors.
The first and / or second raceway is preferably curved or V-shaped in cross section. This allows the track to have good lateral stability Provide for the guide, the rollers being self-centered on the rail due to the weight load.
According to the invention, the rail has bent sections touching at least in regions. These touching sections increase the stability of the rail; it is optionally possible to additionally connect the touching sections by means of fastening means, for example cohesively by welding or gluing or by other means of fastening, for example by riveting, screwing or by means of shaping technology, for example by clinching or embossing . The touching sections, which are optionally additionally fixed to one another, result in particularly dimensionally stable rails. The arrangement of the raceways, offset from each other in the vertical direction, ensures favorable leverage, so that high forces can be absorbed when the steel sheet is thin. The production of such rails, even if additional sections are attached to one another, can be industrially effectively produced with high quality.
According to the invention, the rail has a horizontal leg which is fixed on the upper floor of the cupboard furniture. For this purpose, the rail can be screwed to the top or an end face of the top panel. The rail can then have an upper vertical leg which adjoins the upper horizontal leg, a horizontally projecting section being provided on the lower side for forming a first raceway. For a particularly compact design, a second lower vertical leg is additionally provided on the rail, which is arranged at least partially below the upper vertical leg and has a horizontally protruding section on the underside for forming a second track. In such a configuration, the upper vertical leg and the lower vertical leg can be arranged in one plane, so that both legs rest at least partially on the end face of an upper floor or a floor, which increases the stability. It is also possible to provide the upper vertical leg and the lower vertical leg offset from one another in different planes, so that the rail is formed in a rather gradual manner, which allows the use of the installation space above the lower vertical leg.
A recess is preferably provided in the rail, which is penetrated by a driver of a damping device or a self-closing mechanism. As a result, the self-closing mechanism or the damping device can be arranged concealed behind the rail, which improves the appearance.
The sliding door fitting has the rail, it being possible to fix several such rails to one another via butt connectors. For this purpose, the rail can have one or more hollow chambers into which corresponding connecting elements are inserted.
