Abstract

La présente invention concerne, dans un exemple, un ensemble de culbuteur à double échappement pouvant fonctionner dans un mode moteur à combustion et un mode frein moteur. L'ensemble de culbuteur à double soupape d'échappement ouvre de façon sélective des première et seconde soupapes d'échappement et comprend un axe de culbuteur, un ensemble de culbuteur de soupape d'échappement, un ensemble de culbuteur de frein moteur et une capsule de frein moteur. L'ensemble de culbuteur de soupape d'échappement possède un culbuteur d'échappement qui reçoit l'axe de culbuteur et est conçu pour tourner autour de l'axe de culbuteur. Le culbuteur d'échappement définit en outre un alésage possédant un diamètre interne. L'ensemble de culbuteur de frein moteur possède un culbuteur de frein moteur. La capsule de frein moteur est reçue de manière coulissante le long du diamètre interne de l'alésage du culbuteur de soupape d'échappement et peut se déplacer en translation lorsqu'elle est pressée par le culbuteur de frein moteur.
