Description

The invention relates to a ventilation device for attachment to a wall opening, in particular to a wall opening of a heating device such as a furnace. It also relates to a furnace which has such a ventilation device.

There are heating devices, in particular ovens, known, in the walls of which openings are made. The wall openings can serve to supply air from the environment into the heating device or to remove air from the heating device. Stoves can have brick walls. A wall opening is often provided above the combustion chamber, through which air that has been heated in the furnace can escape into the environment - this is usually the room in which the furnace is located. Ventilation grilles are known to cover the wall openings. By means of the ventilation grille, on the one hand, the wall opening is secured against unintended interference, and on the other hand, the ventilation grille also allows the heat dissipation to the environment to be regulated.

Out DE 20 2010 001 764 U1 a ventilation grille is known that can be inserted into wall openings of stoves. The ventilation grille has a frame in which an opening is formed in the center. The opening can be closed and opened with six parallel, strip-shaped flaps. The flaps can be adjusted by means of a pivot lever in such a way that the adjustment of one flap effects the adjustment of all other flaps. Clamps are attached to the rear of the frame, which are intended to enable the ventilation grille to be clamped in the wall opening by means of springs.

This in DE 20 2010 001 764 U1 The ventilation grille disclosed is mechanically demanding and requires a lot of maintenance. Adjusting the six strip-shaped flaps to close or open the opening requires access to one of the flaps. The force to be exerted on a gripped flap to adjust all six flaps can cause deformation of this flap, which ultimately results in a Damage to the ventilation grille. It is then no longer possible to adjust the air supply. Difficult and no longer adjustable ventilation grilles are well known from practice. In addition, the covering of a wall opening of a fireplace by means of ventilation grilles that have strip-shaped flaps does not meet today's aesthetic expectations, or at least not completely.

US 2005/0227609 A1 describes a ventilation device with a base element and an adjustable element which is intended to restrict an air flow through the base element. U.S. 1,679,773 discloses a ventilation device having a base and a lid connected to the base by a single screw and adjustable in height above the base.

The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a ventilation device for attachment to a wall opening is to be specified, which allows a mechanically less demanding adjustment of the air flow, is more durable than known ventilation grilles, enables easier assembly and moreover meets today's aesthetic expectations. A furnace with such a ventilation device is also to be specified.

This object is achieved by the features of claims 1 and 6. Expedient configurations of the inventions result from the features of the subclaims.

  • eine Deckplatte mit einer Rückseite, die der Luftdurchtrittsöffnung zugewandt ist;
According to the invention, a ventilation device is provided for attachment to a wall opening, in particular a wall opening of a furnace. • a carrier with a carrier frame, the front side of which surrounds a carrier opening and the rear side of which faces the wall of the wall opening, the carrier frame having a circumferential carrier frame web extending into the carrier opening to form an air passage opening and the support frame web has two retaining strips which are fastened to the support frame web and have strip openings, wherein two spaced-apart strip openings are formed in each holding strip; and
  • a cover plate with a rear side facing the air passage opening;
wherein four adjusting elements are formed on the back of the cover plate for releasable attachment to the retaining strip of the support frame web, the adjusting elements allowing a variation of the distance between the cover plate and the air passage opening and a control of an air flow that passes through the air passage opening, the Adjusting elements have locking elements for engaging the strip openings.

The wall opening is surrounded by a wall. The wall can be, for example, a wall, a concrete wall, or a drywall, although the list is not exhaustive. The wall opening has a width, height and depth. The height of the wall opening is its extent in the vertical direction, the width is its extent in the horizontal direction and the depth in the orthogonal direction to the height and width. The depth of the wall opening denotes the distance between the opposing wall surfaces. In the following, the details of width, height and depth refer to this coordinate system. The term coaxial refers to the axis of the respective openings, which extends in the depth direction.

The back of the carrier frame preferably rests against the wall of the wall opening. In this way, it is prevented that air can pass between the wall of the wall opening and the rear of the support frame. The support frame is preferably rectangular or square. The carrier can be made of metal, for example steel. It can be painted.

The two holding strips that the carrier has are preferably two parallel holding strips that are spaced apart from one another and are fastened in the same way to the carrier frame web. The longitudinal edges of both retaining strips should be spaced from the support frame web.

Two bar openings are formed in each holding bar, engagement elements, for example latching elements or latching lugs, of an actuating element being able to engage in one of the bar openings. The bar opening is preferably slot-shaped. In each retaining strip: two spaced apart strip openings are formed. Two retaining strips are provided and four adjusting elements are formed on the cover plate. The distance between the cover plate and the air passage opening can be varied by means of the adjusting elements. If the cover plate rests against the support frame web, the air passage opening is closed. This means that no air can get through the opening in the wall. If the cover plate is not in contact with the carrier frame web, the air passage opening is open. This allows air to pass through the opening in the wall. An air flow can then, for example, enter the carrier opening through the air passage opening and from there into the environment.

The adjusting elements can be struts. Latching lugs can be formed in the struts, which allow engagement in the strip openings. If the adjusting elements engage with the locking lug that is closest to the cover plate in the strip openings, then the distance between the cover plate and the air passage opening is the smallest. If the adjusting elements engage with the locking lug, which is furthest away from the cover plate, in the strip openings, then the distance between the cover plate and the air passage opening is greatest. If the adjusting elements each have one, two or more latching lugs, then they can also be referred to as latching elements that engage in the strip openings. In the ventilation device according to the invention with four adjusting elements, it is also possible to direct the air flow in a special direction by introducing two adjusting elements arranged in parallel with respect to the other two adjusting elements arranged in parallel at different depths into the bar openings. Thus, through Engagement of the two lower adjusting elements with the locking lug, which is closest to the cover plate, a lock on the lower edge of the cover plate in the strip openings and, by engaging the upper adjusting elements with the locking lug, which is farthest from the cover plate, a lock in the strip openings Opening on the upper edge of the cover plate and thus directing the air flow upwards.

It can be provided that a complete closure of the air passage opening is not possible. For this purpose, a minimum distance can be provided between the air passage opening and the cover plate. In this case, the locking lug of the adjusting elements that is closest to the cover plate can be arranged so that the minimum distance is maintained.

The cover plate is dimensioned so that it can close the air passage opening. The cover plate can be moved in the carrier opening to vary the distance between it and the air passage opening.

The cover plate can consist of metal, for example steel, or glass. If it is made of metal, it can be painted. However, it can also be provided that on the surface side of the cover plate facing away from the air passage opening and thus facing the environment, a layer of a material is applied that corresponds to that of the surface of the wall on the side facing the environment. The layer can be, for example, a plaster layer, for example a plaster layer made of mortar plaster. This means that the cover plate looks like the surface of the wall, which can be aesthetically pleasing. The adjusting elements can be made of metal, for example steel.

It can furthermore be provided that the carrier has a fastening frame for at least one air nozzle, which surrounds a fastening opening and extends away from the carrier frame. The fastening opening is aligned with the carrier opening. The air nozzle can be detachably fastened to the fastening frame by means of fastening elements. The fastening opening can be aligned be designed for the carrier opening. The fastening frame can surround several fastening openings. The fastening elements can be brackets. The mounting frame can be made of metal, for example steel.

The air connection piece can have an annular shoulder which extends from a connection opening in a connection plate, the connection plate being held at a distance from the fastening frame by means of the fastening elements in such a way that the connection plate does not bear against the fastening frame. This creates a gap between the connection plate and the mounting frame, so that the air nozzle can be surrounded by warm air from the furnace, the accumulated heat. This accumulated heat can thus be transported into the environment. The air nozzle, the connection plate and the fastening elements can be made of metal, for example steel. You can be black. A pipe, for example a pipe running in the furnace, in which air is transported through the furnace, can be connected to the air connector.

In one embodiment of the invention, at least one lighting element is arranged in the carrier. The lighting element can be arranged in the carrier opening. The lighting element can be covered by the support frame web. This creates a space between the support frame web and the support frame web in which the lighting element can be attached to the support frame. Furthermore, a reflective element can be arranged in the carrier, which has a reflective surface and can reflect the light emitted by the lighting element. Preferably, the reflection element is also attached to the support frame in said space opposite the lighting element. The lighting element can, however, also be arranged in a chamber which is formed in a carrier housing of the carrier. The carrier housing has the carrier frame with the carrier opening on its front wall and a housing opening on its rear wall. A chamber in which the lighting element is inserted is formed between the front and the rear wall of the housing.

The ventilation device according to the invention enables simple installation on a wall opening, in particular the wall opening of a furnace. First, the furnace is built with the wall in which the wall opening is located. The carrier can then be inserted into the wall opening. The cover plate can then be attached to the carrier by inserting adjusting elements into the strip openings of the retaining strips.

According to the invention, a furnace is also provided which has the ventilation device according to the invention. For this purpose, the ventilation device according to the invention can be inserted in a wall opening which enables warm air to exit the furnace. The wall can be a wall. However, the ventilation device according to the invention can also be used for other purposes. It is suitable, for example, for other heating devices in which there is a wall opening to which the ventilation device according to the invention can be attached. It can also be attached to wall openings that are used for air supply, air discharge or both. For example, the ventilation device according to the invention can be attached to a wall opening of ducts which are intended to supply fresh air, warm air or cold air to a room or to remove air from the room.

The ones in the Figures 1 to 7 The shown first embodiment of a ventilation device 100 according to the invention has a carrier 200 and a cover plate 400. The carrier 200 has a carrier frame 201, the front side 202 of which surrounds the carrier opening 204. The rear side 203 of the support frame 201 rests against the wall of an opening in a wall 500 (see FIG Fig. 3 ). The support frame 201 is square in the embodiment shown. In the Fig. 3 The wall 500 shown is a vertical wall that separates an interior space 600, for example a living room, from a warm air area 700 of a furnace (see FIG Fig. 5 ). In an opening The ventilation device 100 according to the invention is installed in the wall 500 in such a way that the cover plate 400 faces the interior 600.

The carrier 200 has retaining strips 226 to which the cover plate 400 can be releasably attached. The holding strips 226 are attached to a carrier frame web 205 which is formed on the carrier 200 and extends orthogonally to the carrier frame 201 into the carrier opening 204. The carrier frame web 205 delimits an air passage opening 228. The retaining strips 226 do not necessarily have to be attached to the carrier frame web 205. They can also be attached to the support frame 201.

In the in the Figures 1 to 7 The first embodiment shown, two retaining strips 226 are provided. The holding strips 226 are fastened to the carrier frame web 205 via spacer elements 239 which are formed on two opposite edges of the carrier frame web 205. The spacer elements 239 extend in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis A and make it possible to hold the retaining strips in a position on the carrier 200 which is not in the carrier opening 204. In the in the Figures 1 to 7 In the embodiment shown, the spacer elements 239 extend in the direction of the warm air area 700. The retaining strips 226 are thus in a position which lies in the warm air area 700. The longitudinal edges of the two retaining strips 226 are spaced from one another and from the carrier frame web 205. In each of the retaining strips 226, two spaced-apart strip openings 240 are formed. The cover plate 400 can be adjustably attached to the retaining strips 226.

The cover plate 400 has a front side 401 and a rear side 402. If the cover plate 400 is inserted into the carrier 200, the front side 401 faces the interior space 600 and the rear side 402 faces the warm air area 700. The cover plate 400 is located in the carrier opening 204. The cover plate 400 is dimensioned such that a gap 800 is formed between the edge 403 of the cover plate 400 and the front side 202 of the carrier 200 when the cover plate 400 is inserted into the carrier. Through this gap 800 air, which from the warm air area 700 over the Air passage opening 228 reaches the carrier opening 204 (arrow B), emerges from the carrier opening 204 into the interior 600 (arrows C). The gap 800 expediently runs around the entire edge 403 of the cover plate 400. For this purpose, the cover plate 400 can be arranged coaxially in the carrier opening 204.

The distance D between the rear side 402 of the cover plate 400 can be changed by means of adjusting elements 404. The smaller this distance, the less air can get through the gap 800 into the interior 600. If the cover plate 400 rests with its rear side 402 on the carrier frame web 205, the air passage opening 228 is completely closed. The cover plate 400 is therefore not only dimensioned such that the gap 800 is formed between the edge 403 of the cover plate 400 and the front side 202 of the carrier 200, but also so that it closes the air passage opening 228 when it is on the carrier frame web 205 is applied. The extent of the cover plate 400 orthogonal to the longitudinal axis A of the ventilation device 100 is therefore greater than the extent of the air passage opening 228 and smaller than the extent of the carrier opening 204, in each case in the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal axis A of the ventilation device 100.

Four strip-shaped adjusting elements 404 are formed on the rear side 402 of the cover plate 400. The adjusting elements 404 extend parallel to the longitudinal axis A of the ventilation device 100 when the cover plate 400 is inserted into the carrier 200. The adjusting elements 404 are guided through the strip openings 240. Latching lugs 405 are formed in the adjusting elements 404, which enable the adjusting elements 404 to be hooked into the strip openings 240. The locking lugs are formed on the lower edge 406 of the adjusting elements 404. The lower edge 406 is the edge that faces the floor 900. The greater the number of latching lugs 405, the greater the number of distances D that can be set between the rear side 402 of the cover plate 400 and the air passage opening 228.

A fastening frame 206, which has a fastening opening 207, can be attached to the side of the carrier frame web 205 which faces away from the carrier frame 201 surrounds, which is aligned with the carrier opening, coaxial with the longitudinal axis A. A fastening frame 206 is not absolutely necessary. It is used to attach an air nozzle 51 (see Fig. 8 ). The fastening frame 206 can be formed on the carrier frame at a distance from the edges of the carrier frame. The fastening opening 207 is thus larger than the opening delimited by the carrier frame web 205.

The Figures 7a to f show the ventilation device 100 according to the invention, in which the cover plate 400 is equipped with four adjusting elements 404 and the carrier 200 is equipped with two retaining strips 226, each with two strip openings 240. In these representations, the cover plate 400 with its respective adjusting elements 404 is inserted into the respective strip openings 240 of the holding strips 226 at different depths. In Figure 7a the adjusting elements 404 of the cover plate 400 with the locking lug 405, which is closest to the cover plate, are inserted in the strip openings 240, whereby a closure of the air passage opening 228 is achieved. In the Figure 7b and 7c the adjusting elements 404 of the cover plate 400, each with the locking lugs 405, which are located further away from the cover plate, are inserted in the strip openings 240, whereby a variable amount of air passage is achieved. In Figure 7e the two lower adjusting elements 404 of the cover plate 400 with the respective latching lugs 405, which is closest to the cover plate, are inserted into the two lower bar openings 240, and the two upper adjusting elements 404 of the cover plate 400 with the respective latching lugs 405, which are from the cover plate furthest away, inserted into the two upper bar openings 240. As a result, the lower edge 406 of the cover plate 400 is closed and the upper edge 407 of the cover plate generates the maximum air passage. Thus, with this type of insertion of the cover plate 400 into the carrier 200, an air flow towards the ceiling of the room can be generated. By inserting the cover plate 400 in the carrier 200 in the opposite way, an air flow towards the floor of the room is possible ( Fig. 7f ).

Figure 8 shows a second embodiment of a ventilation device according to the invention, which corresponds to the first embodiment, except that on the Mounting frame 206 an air nozzle 51 is attached. For this purpose, the air nozzle 51 has a connection plate 52 in which a connection opening 53 is formed, on the edge of which a tubular or ring-shaped extension 54 is attached.

The connection plate 52 is detachably fastened to the fastening frame 206 by means of fastening elements 55, so that the connection opening 53 is aligned with the fastening opening 207 and coaxial with the longitudinal axis A. The fastening elements 55 can be angle elements that can be inserted into tabs 208, 56 and ensure that the air nozzle is held securely on the carrier 200. Each angle element is inserted into a tab 56, which is formed on the connection plate 52, and a corresponding tab 208, which is formed on the carrier 200. The tabs 208 can be attached to the rear of the mounting frame 206, i. H. the side of the fastening frame 206 that faces away from the fastening opening 207 may be formed. The connection plate is held at a distance F from the fastening frame 206.

A circumferential fastening frame web 209, which extends from the fastening frame 206 into the fastening opening 207 orthogonally to the longitudinal axis A, can be formed on the fastening frame 206. The extension of the connection plate 52 in the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal axis A can correspond to the extension of the fastening frame. The inner edge of the fastening frame web 209 can be designed in alignment with the carrier frame web 205. The expansion of the air passage opening 228 thus corresponds to the fastening opening 207. Both openings are formed coaxially to one another.

In the Fig. 9 The third embodiment shown corresponds to the first embodiment, except that a lighting element 61 with a lighting means 62 is arranged in the carrier 200. For this purpose, the carrier 200 is designed as a carrier housing 210, which has four opposite side walls 211a, 211b, 211c and 211d as well as a front wall 212 and a rear wall 213. The side wall 211a is the top, the side wall 211b is the bottom and the side walls 211c and 211d is the Vertical sides of the support housing 210. The indications “top” and “bottom” relate to the base 900. The support frame 201 is formed on the front wall 212, with three walls of the support frame 201 being formed by the side walls 211a, 211c and 211d of the support housing 210 . The fourth, lower wall of the support frame 201 is arranged above the lower side 211b. The carrier housing is closed by means of the front wall 212 between the fourth wall of the carrier frame 201 and the underside 211b of the carrier housing 210. In the rear wall 213 of the carrier housing 210, a housing opening 215 is formed, which is arranged coaxially to the carrier opening 204, with reference to the longitudinal axis A. The housing opening 215 lies in a region which adjoins the upper side 211a and the side walls 211c and 211d and is spaced apart from the lower side 211b up to the level of the fourth, lower wall of the support frame 201. The extension of the housing opening 215 should at least correspond to the extension of the air passage opening 228 of the carrier 200. The rear wall 213 is closed between the underside 211b and the housing opening 215. As a result, a chamber 214 is obtained between the rear wall 213 and the front wall 212, which is delimited at the bottom by the side wall 211b and on the sides by the side walls 211c and 211d. The lighting element 61 has a U-shaped cross section and can be inserted precisely into the chamber 214. The legs of the lighting element 61 are in contact with the rear wall 213 or the front wall 212, while the base of the lighting element 61 is in contact with the side wall 211b. The lighting means 62 is arranged between the legs of the lighting element 61, specifically in such a way that it does not protrude beyond its legs. The formation of the chamber 214 in the support housing 210 allows the lighting means to be arranged in such a way that it is not visible through the gap 800 and does not obstruct the flow of air.

On the rear wall 213, as in Fig. 9 shown, the mounting frame 206 may be attached. But that is not necessary. The fastening opening 207 should be aligned with the housing opening 215. An air nozzle 51 can also be attached to the fastening frame 206. The air socket 51 and the manner of its attachment to the mounting frame 206 correspond to that in FIG Fig. 8 embodiment shown.
