Durch die Ausbildung der Eingriffs- und Sichtmulde in der Vorderwand der Verpackung kann auf einen separaten Kragen beziehungsweise Innenrahmen verzichtet werden. Damit ist vorteilhafterweise gewährleistet, dass die Verpackung aus einem einstückig ausgebildeten Zuschnitt hergestellt werden kann. Neben der Zeitersparnis im Herstellungsprozess ergibt sich auch eine Materialersparnis, da insbesondere die bei bekannten Verpackungen vorhandenen Überlappungsbereiche zwischen der eigentlichen Verpackung und dem Kragen wegfallen. Je nach Verpackungstyp können hier zwischen 5 und 10 % Material eingespart werden. Des Weiteren bildet die Vorderwand nunmehr eine nicht-unterbrochene Fläche, so dass sich deutlich mehr Variationsmöglichkeiten beim Bedrucken dieser Fläche ergeben. Des Weiteren ist bei der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung die Vorderwand derart ausgebildet, dass im Bereich der Eingriffs- und Sichtöffnung mindestens ein Rastmittel zum Verrasten der Deckelkonstruktion mit der Vorderwand in geschlossenem Zustand der Verpackung angeordnet ist. Dadurch ist ein sicherer Verschluss der Verpackung gewährleistet. Das Rastmittel ist dabei als Rastlasche ausgebildet, wobei die Rastlasche mittels eines Schlitzes ausgebildet wird, und der Schlitz ausgehend von der Vorderwand über eine Biegelinie zwischen der Vorderwand und der Seitenwand hinweg in die Seitenwand und von der Seitenwand wieder in Richtung der Biegelinie zurück verlaufend ausgebildet ist. Dies hat den Effekt, dass die Rastlasche seitlich von der Vorderwand absteht und die Deckelkonstruktion beim Schließen der Deckelkonstruktion mittels Reibungswiderstand festhält. Dadurch ist ein sicherer Verschluss der Verpackung gewährleistet. Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung kann zur Aufbewahrung verschiedenster Waren verwendet werden.
