Definitions
- the invention relates to a bulkhead construction for a fluid collecting device for a vehicle construction comprising a crankshaft and connecting rod, preferably an internal combustion engine (e.g. an internal combustion engine).
- the invention also relates to an associated liquid collecting device.
- oil collecting devices for arrangement under crankshaft / connecting rod structures are known in a wide variety of embodiments.
- a disadvantage of conventional oil collecting devices is, in particular, that in the case of an inclined position, oil can collect in corner areas of the oil collecting devices, with the result that a suction strainer lies above the oil level of the oil to be extracted.
- Another disadvantage with conventional oil collecting devices is e.g. B. that they tend to have relatively strong oil deposits.
- the EP 1 892 390 A2 discloses that oil scrapers strip oil from the crankshaft and connecting rods.
- An oil pan is arranged below the crankcase and receives the oil scraped off by the oil scrapers.
- Air / oil separators separate the air from the returned oil.
- Each oil scraper is made in one piece with the associated air / oil separator and is routed to the oil inlet opening of each air / oil separator.
- An oil outlet opening is assigned to each air / oil separator, so that the oil outlet opening is above an oil level in the oil pan in every driving state of a motor vehicle.
- the DE 10 2008 060412 A1 relates to an internal combustion engine with an upper crankcase part and a lower crankcase part.
- An oil plane is provided which is flanged onto the lower crankcase part and protrudes into the lower crankcase part, which forms a wall for an oil mist roller initiated by the rotation of a crankshaft and which has at least one plane-like slot for separating oil droplets.
- the US 6,729,292 B1 discloses an oil deflector for an internal combustion engine that includes first and second oil deflecting plates between a crankshaft and an oil pan.
- first and second oil deflecting plates between a crankshaft and an oil pan.
- the longitudinal edge of the second oil deflection plate forms a main wiper edge.
- Between the oil deflection plates are in Arranged their overlapping area strip-shaped ribs to guide the oil in the direction of a suction point of the oil pan.
- the JP 2010 151011 discloses an engine baffle for a vehicle disposed between a crankshaft and an oil pan.
- the baffle plate consists of a bottom plate, side walls and flange parts which extend from the upper ends of the side walls to the two sides.
- oil drop holes are formed as openings for connecting an upper space with a lower space of the baffle plate
- EP 0 140 108 A1 discloses that an insert is disposed between the crankshaft and the bottom of the oil pan. This prevents the air set in rotation by the rotation of the crankshaft from displacing oil from the oil pan in the direction of rotation of the shaft into the range of motion of the connecting rods and the crank webs.
- the spray oil escaping from the shaft bearings can get into the oil pan directly outside the insert and in the area of the insert via the depressions.
- the side walls of the depressions largely prevent spray oil from entering the area of movement of the crank webs or connecting rods or connecting rod heads.
- An object of the invention is to create a possibility by means of which an improved and / or alternative liquid collecting device can be realized.
- the invention provides a bulkhead structure for a liquid collecting device for a vehicle structure comprising a crankshaft and connecting rods, e.g. B. an internal combustion engine, in particular an internal combustion engine (e.g. diesel engine) or another piston machine.
- an internal combustion engine e.g. diesel engine

- the bulkhead construction can consequently, in particular together with rotating crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections, have an integrated fluid delivery function.
- the bulkhead construction can be formed from a single bulkhead element or several, preferably at least two, separate bulkhead elements.
- crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections expediently include lower, preferably lowermost, crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections.
- At least one liquid channel is a formation with another formation, preferably an adjacent formation, expediently directly or indirectly connected, so that a liquid is made possible from formation to formation.
- at least one liquid channel it is possible for at least one liquid channel to expediently connect a recess directly or indirectly to a liquid suction area, so that liquid can be conveyed to the liquid suction area.
- At least one liquid channel can expediently have a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet.
- the liquid inlet can be formed in a recess or adjacent thereto.
- the liquid outlet can be formed in another, preferably adjacent, formation or adjacent thereto.
- At least one fluid channel can consequently connect two preferably adjacent formations directly (entry in one formation and exit in another formation) or indirectly (entry in formation or adjacent to it and exit in another formation or adjacent to it).
- At least one liquid channel can consequently connect a formation directly to a liquid suction area (entry into the formation and exit into the liquid suction area) or indirectly (entry into the formation or adjacent to it and exit into the liquid suction area or adjacent to it).
- At least one liquid channel has a tapering passage cross section in order to e.g. B. to achieve a pressure difference and / or a conveying effect.
- the passage cross-section preferably tapers in the direction of liquid conveyance.
- the formations are designed according to the envelope geometry of the rotary movement of the crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections, in addition to a distance (e.g. at least 1mm, at least 2mm, at least 3mm, at least 4mm or at least 5mm) for forming the gap Liquid absorption between the formations and the rotating crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections.

- the bulkhead elements are preferably designed symmetrically to one another.
- the bulkhead construction 1 comprises several oil channels K1, K2, K3, K4, K5 and K6 and several formations A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 and A6 for rotating, suitably lower, in particular lowermost crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections.
- One formation A1 to A6 is provided for each connecting rod 3.1 to 3.6 and thus per crankshaft and / or connecting rod section.
- the formations A1 to A6 are shaped in such a way that, by means of the rotary movement of the crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections, oil is applied from the formations A1 to A6 into the liquid channels K1 to K6, so that oil is conveyed from formation to formation to the oil suction area 5 .
- oil is applied from the formation A1 via the liquid channel K1 to the formation A2, oil from the formation A2 via the liquid channel K2 to the formation A3 is applied and oil is conveyed from the recess A3 via the liquid channel K3 to the oil suction area 5.

- the column S can have the same or different dimensions.
- the formations A1 to A6 are in particular designed according to the envelope geometry of the rotational movement of the crankshaft and / or connecting rod sections, in addition to a distance to form the gap S. It follows that the formations A1 to A6 map the envelope geometry of a crankshaft rotation movement, plus a defined distance to Formation of the gap S.
- the oil suction basket in the oil suction area 5 always has to be below the oil level in the oil suction area 5, especially in every inclined position, otherwise air would be sucked in, so that the lubrication of the vehicle structure V (especially the engine) would no longer be guaranteed.
- the oil delivery from the formations A1 to A6 and thus the effectiveness of the oil delivery function integrated in the bulkhead construction 1 depends in particular on the gap size of the gap S (the smaller the gap S, the smaller the gap losses) and of the passage cross-sections of the oil channels K1 to K6.
- the oil delivery from the formations A1 to A6 and thus the effectiveness of the oil delivery function integrated in the bulkhead structure 1 is also dependent on the operating state of the vehicle device V, in particular on the engine and / or the crankshaft speed of the vehicle device V.
- the oil delivery function ensures that there is constant oil delivery from the formations A1 to A6 to the oil suction area 5, so that the risk of air being drawn in can be reduced or even avoided entirely.
- FIG. 8 shows another sectional view of the bulkhead structure 1 and the oil collecting device F of FIG Figure 1 , not all parts being provided with reference numerals for purposes of illustration.
- FIGS Figures 3 and 4 show a bulkhead construction 1 according to an embodiment of the invention, which as in FIGS Figures 1 and 2 is executed.
- Figure 3 shows in particular the formations A4 to A6 and the associated channels K4 to K6, while Figure 4 shows in particular the formations A1 to A3 and the associated channels K1 to K3.
- Reference 7 denotes optional recesses in the bulkhead construction 1 for the crankshaft bearing.
- the oil channels K3 and K4 are very short and can be designed as a mere oil passage opening within the scope of the invention.
- the Figure 4 shows that an inlet of an oil channel can be formed in a formation, but the associated outlet does not necessarily have to be formed in a formation, but can also be formed adjacent to it.
- the bulkhead construction 1 has to be expediently designed so that oil can flow from the outlet into the associated formation.
- the bulkhead structure 1 z. B. a slope section towards the associated. Have molding.
- Figure 5 shows a sectional view of the bulkhead construction 1 and the oil collecting device F together with the vehicle construction V of FIG Figures 1 and 2 .
- Figure 6 shows a schematic perspective view of two adjacent formations A6 and A5, in particular two connecting rod violins with allowance.
- FIG 6 it can be seen first that the oil channels K6 and K5 serve to connect the two formations A6 and A5.

- Figure 6 also shows that the passage cross-section of the respective oil channels K6 and K5 is designed to taper, namely in the oil delivery direction, that is, from the formation A6 to the formation A5. As a result, a pressure difference and / or an oil delivery effect can be achieved.
- the narrowing passage cross-section expediently leads to an acceleration of the transported oil.
- the oil mass flow at the outlet of an oil channel can be thrown against the adjacent formation or flow out adjacent to it.
- Figure 7 shows a perspective view of the bulkhead construction 1, the oil collecting device F and the vehicle construction V with the crankshaft 2 and the connecting rods 3.1 to 3.6.

Description
