Die Beschickungsöffnung ist zu diesem Zweck auf der dem Pressstempel gegenüberliegenden Vorderseite mit einer V-förmigen, mit Messern bestückten Aussparung versehen, an die sich nach oben ein Aufnahmeraum für das abgescherte Pressgut anschließt, der zum Füllschacht hin offen ist, sodass das durch die Messer im Zusammenwirken mit dem Pressstempel abgescherte und in den Aufnahmeraum geförderte Pressgut aus dem Aufnahmeraum wieder durch den Fallschacht in den Presskasten fallen kann. Das sich zum Teil im Aufnahmeraum stauende Pressgut kann jedoch zu Störungen führen. Aus diesem Grund ist oberhalb des Aufnahmeraums ein die Decke des Aufnahmeraums durchsetzender, gegen die V-förmige Aussparung gerichteter Stößel vorgesehen, der bei einer Beaufschlagung durch einen Stellzylinder das Pressgut aus dem Aufnahmeraum in den Presskasten drücken soll, was jedoch nicht immer gelingt. Um das Ausfördern des abgescherten Pressguts aus dem Aufnahmeraum zu verbessern, ist es bereits bekannt (
