Definitions
- a kit comprising a cloth and a liquid, and a composition for the hydrophilization of surfaces
- the invention relates to a set according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the present invention also relates to a composition for the
- the composition aims to impart hydrophilic properties to these surfaces.
- the invention relates to a composition which
- CONFIRMATION COPY It is known to distribute cloths or sponges together with cleaning or polishing agents.
- the commercial detergent formulations make it possible to use hard surfaces, for example in industry, household or
- surfactants in particular nonionic and anionic surfactants.
- alcohol (s) may be added to facilitate drying, and sequestering agents and pH adjusting bases may be used.
- a major disadvantage of these detergent formulations is that they do not change the surface tension of the treated surfaces for a long time.
- water such as rainwater in the case of slices, or tap water on
- WO 2009/023209 describes a
- a cleaning composition comprising a) from about 0.05 to about 1 percent by weight of a hydrophilic polymer
- surfactant comprising at least one alkoxylated alcohol
- Essential to the composition is that it is free of anionic, cationic or amphoteric surfactants.
- the described cleaning solution allows a cleaning hard
- a disadvantage of the composition is that the relatively high surfactant concentration develops a lot of foam during application. As a result, a uniform distribution of the composition on the treated surface is difficult and it can form stripes or bubbles on the surface.
- the high foam content means that a comparatively high amount of cleaning agent is needed to treat the surface evenly.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, a set of the type mentioned in such a way and further, that a surface with this as effectively and easily hydrophilisable.
- the present invention solves the above object by the features of claim 1. According to the invention it has been recognized that the textile fabric and the liquid must be coordinated with each other so that as many hydrophilizing polymers for surface treatment
- Liquid hardly absorbed polymers in the fabric and therefore are available for interaction with the surface. It is thus possible to use the liquid sparingly, since the sheet does not have to be completely saturated with liquid in order to obtain polymers for the
- the textile fabric may comprise microfibers.
- the liquid can be distributed as evenly and largely streak-free on the surface.
- particularly good and long-lasting hydrophilization effects are achieved when using microfibers by removing these impurities, in particular those having hydrophobic properties, which adversely affect the adhesion of the polymers to the surfaces to be treated.
- microfibers could be generated by a cleavage process.
- Microfibers which have been produced by a cleavage process from a material which is selected from the group have proven particularly suitable
- Polyester polyamide or a combination of the two aforementioned
- microfibers effectively rid the surfaces of interfering contaminants. At the same time they are surprisingly suitable in the set described here, including those contained in the liquid
- hydrophilizing polymers for interaction with the treated
- the proportion of the polyester in the textile fabric can be more than 60
- the positively charged groups could be generated at least in part by protonation in the aqueous medium. It is beneficial to the positively charged Groups at least partially by protonation in the liquid too
- the acidic pH range simultaneously deactivates electron-rich molecular positions in the textile fabric for the absorption of the polymer. This leads to an almost complete availability of the
- hydrophilizing polymer for the surface to be treated therewith.
- the hydrophilic effect of the treated surface in these cases is also particularly resistant to leaching with neutral solvents on further use of the surfaces. It has been found that pH values in the range between 2 and 5 are particularly suitable in that there is sufficient protonation without the liquid already damaging acid-sensitive surfaces by the method described. Before this
- the pH of the fluid could be between 2 and 5.
- the textile fabric could be designed as a cloth. Towels are easy to fold and drape.
- a method of treating a surface could comprise the following steps: a) providing a kit according to any one of the preceding claims, b) applying the liquid to the surface to be treated, and c) distributing the applied liquid to the textile
- composition comprising: a) 0.05-1% by weight of at least one hydrophilizing copolymer comprising in the form of polymerized units;
- At least one amino-functional monomer which has a permanent cationic charge or is capable of forming a cationic charge by protonation
- At least one acidic monomer which has a permanent anionic charge or is capable of forming an anionic charge at least one acidic monomer which has a permanent anionic charge or is capable of forming an anionic charge

Description
umfassend
(1) ein saures anionisches Monomer;
(3) optional, ein Monomer mit neutraler Ladung;
b) etwa 1.5 bis etwa 5 Gewichtsprozent mindestens einer
oberflächenaktiven Substanz, die zumindest einen alkoxylierten Alkohol umfasst;
Dies wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch eine Zusammensetzung umfassend: a) 0,05-1 Gew.-% mindestens eines hydrophilisierenden Copolymers umfassend in Form von polymerisierten Einheiten;
mindestens ein Amino funktionales Monomer, das eine permanente kationische Ladung aufweist oder dazu in der Lage ist, eine kationische Ladung durch Protonierung auszubilden;
mindestens ein saures Monomer, das eine permanente anionische Ladung aufweist oder dazu in der Lage ist, eine anionische Ladung auszubilden;
b) 0,5 bis 1 ,4 Gew.-% mindestens eines nicht ionischen Tensids; - c) 1 bis 10 Gew.-% mindestens eines Lösungsmittels;
vorzugsweise umfassend 8-15 Kohlenstoffatome, noch bevorzugter 8-12 Kohlenstoffatome, beispielsweise erhältlich unter dem Namen Lutensol;
Beispielhafte erfindungsgemäß geeignete hydrophilisierende Copolymere werden in den Druckschriften US 6,569,261 , US 6,593,288, US 6,703,358 und US 6,767,410 beschrieben.
