Claims (6)

  1. A method for producing a fixing tab (2) formed in a sheet of metal (4), said sheet of metal (4) being intended to run along a succession of presses (3) so as to form components (5) by way of a succession of cutting and stamping steps, the fixing tab (2) forms a temporary connection on at least a portion of the sheet of metal (4), between a first, thinned part (43) of said portion forming a linear strip that is substantially aligned in the running direction of the sheet of metal (4), and at least one component (41, 42) which is being formed and is formed in a second part of said portion, characterized in that:
    • a first step of the method consisting in cutting simultaneously in the portion of the strip of metal (4), by means of one of the presses (3a), the linear strip (43), at least the component (41, 42) which is being formed and the fixing tab (2) connecting said component (41, 42) to said strip (43); and
    • a second step consisting in deforming by stamping, by means of one of the presses (3a), the fixing tab (2) to lengthen it, a part (21) of the fixing tab (2) projecting from at least the upper upper face or the lower face of the sheet of metal (4).
  2. The method for producing a fixing tab (2) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the cutting step and the step of deformation by stamping of the fixing tab (2) are carried out by means of the same press (3a).
  3. A sheet of metal (4) intended to run along a succession of presses (3) so as to form components (5) by way of a succession of cutting and stamping steps, comprising on at least a portion a first, thinned part (43) forming a linear strip that is substantially aligned in the running direction of the strip of metal (4), at least one component (41, 42) which is being formed, formed in a second part of said portion, and a fixing tab (2) forming a temporary connection between the linear strip (43) and the part (41, 42) which is being formed, characterized in that the fixing tab (2) comprises at least one part (21) extending in a projecting manner from the upper face or from the lower face of the sheet of metal (4).
  4. The sheet of metal (4) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the fixing tab (2) is integral with the linear strip (43) and with the part (41, 42) which is being formed.
  5. The sheet of metal (4) according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the projecting part (21) of the fixing tab (2) has a profile substantially having the shape of an arc of a circle.
  6. The sheet of metal (4) according to any one of Claims 3 to 5, characterized in that said fixing tab (2) is produced by means of a production method according to Claim 1 or 2.
