  • the handling of articles often provides one or more articles with an outer packaging.
  • the package will additionally receive a package of several items.
  • Containers are an effective way to handle multiple items simultaneously, for example, to facilitate the transport of multiple items at the same time. Therefore, packages of several held together articles represent the most common variant of sales units for many articles, such as beverage containers.
  • the articles may, for example, be objects such as, for example, packaged or unpacked articles, containers, such as beverage bottles or cans, or themselves containers of several objects, the objects of a container being conveyed, for example by means of a group of objects Peripheral surrounding enclosure, such as a strapping, an overwrapping, such as a wrapping, a shrink tube or a cardboard box or a support frame, such as a beverage crate, can be held together, to name only a few conceivable embodiments.

  • Folding cartons are used as outer packaging accommodating one or more articles each, since these offer a high, optionally additional protection for the articles housed in them, moreover are stackable with the articles housed in them and also identify the ones they contain To allow articles to be printed or pasted on their outside. Furthermore, they can serve as an advertising medium through appropriate information on their outside.
  • Folding boxes are industrially prefabricated, mostly folded or folded to a particularly small space or pack size, usually rectangular containers that are transported to save space and stored in the collapsed state to their use to their needs with simple handles or by machine for repackaging unfolded, as is known, for example, from folding cartons used for postal packages. When folded, they require little space for their transport and storage.
