Diese Stanzkontur 14 ist in Figur 5 nur angedeutet. Die Rastfläche 12 kennzeichnet die Hauptrast 22, d. h. also die Position, in der die Sperrklinke 5 die Drehfalle 2 in der Schließposition an einem Rückschwenken hindert. Dann liegt wie ebenfalls schon erwähnt, die Rastfläche 13 der Sperrklinke 5 auf der Rastfläche 12 der Drehfalle 2 auf und beide können mit verminderter Reibung sich aneinander vorbeischieben, ohne dass es zu den nachteiligen Geräuschen kommt, weil die geraden Riefen 17 der Drehfalle 2 und die schräg gestellten Riefen 18', 19' der Sperrklinke 5 nicht ineinander verhaken oder verrasten können. Claims (12)

  1. Method for producing motor vehicle door latches with the locking mechanism elements catch (2) and pawl (5), in which the catch (2) and the pawl (5) are stamped in such a way that vertical or near vertical edges (15,16) with corresponding latching surfaces (12,13) are provided on the catch (2) and pawl (5) after which a coating (10) is applied, not covering the latching surfaces (12,13),
    characterized in that,
    the straight stamped contour of the catch (2) is fixed to the base (39) of the frame box housing (40) with the catch top (41) arranged parallel to the base (39), whilst the pawl (5) is connected to the base (39) of the latch housing (40) offset at a specified angle (26'), said angle preventing the stamped contours (11, 14) of the two locking elements (30, 31) from meshing with each other.
  2. Method according to claim 1,
    characterized in that,
    the pawl is pivotally fixed to the base (39) of the frame box housing (40) offset by an angle of 5 - 8°, with this angle (26') applying to a pawl with a thickness of approximately 4 mm and with a distance of the grooves, representing the stamped profile of the catch and pawl, of 0.15 - 0.30 mm.
  3. Method according to claim 1,
    characterized in that,
    the base (39) of the frame box housing (40) is provided with a seat (42) for the pawl (5), moulded to the base (40) to form a slope.
  4. Method according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that,
    the seat (42) of the pawl (5) is connected to the base (39) of the frame box housing (40) via a seat containing a slanting contact area (43), whilst maintaining a conventional connection of the pawl.
  5. Method according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that,
    the pawl is surrounded by a slanting plastic coating, resting flatly on the base of the frame box housing and being connected to said housing.
  6. Method according to claim 5,
    characterized in that,
    the coating (10) is a rectangular plastic body (46), in which the pawl (5) is retained offset by an angle (26') required for the slanted adjustment of the stamped contour on the latching surface in relation to the straight stamped contour of the latching surface of the catch.
  7. Method according to one or several of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that,
    the seat of the catch or the seats of the pawl and catch are connected to the base (39) of the frame box housing (40) so that they are offset to each other.
  8. Motor vehicle door latch containing a catch (2) and a pawl (5), locking the catch (2) in the closed state, in which the catch (2) and pawl (5) contain corresponding latching surfaces (12, 13) on their vertical edges (15,16) produced during stamping and a coating (10) not covering the latching surfaces (12,13),
    characterized in that,

    characterized in that,
    the pawl (5) is offset by a specified angle (26') and fixed in a box-like coating (10) that forms a level base.
  12. Motor vehicle door latch according to one of the above claims,
    characterized in that,
