- a unilateral impregnation according to the invention in a impregnation channel is much easier to accomplish than the "pressing in” of glue into the backside of a paper, as in the case of the dry decorative paper. This is made difficult by the various parameters (density of the paper, pigment content, etc.). In addition, there is significantly more time available for the impregnation process compared to pressing, which makes the process less critical.
