Claims (12)

  1. Lock for a door or flap with a locking mechanism having a catch (1) and at least one pawl (2) for latching the catch (1), with a spring (13) for moving the pawl (2) in direction of its latching position and a release lever (4), by which the latched locking mechanism can be released by actuating the release lever (4), wherein the release lever (4) is designed such that its actuation reduces or eliminates the spring force, which acts on the pawl (2), characterized in that the spring (13) allows lying against a lever arm (11) of the pawl (2) for moving the pawl (2) in direction of latching position and/or against a lever arm (10) of the release lever (4) for reducing or eliminating of the spring force that acts on the pawl.
  2. Lock according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the in the preceding claim mentioned lever arm (11) of the pawl (2) and the in the preceding claim mentioned lever arm (10) of the release lever (4) are arranged over each other in a latched condition of the locking mechanism.
  3. Lock according to claim 1, characterized in that the pawl (1) and the release lever (4) are pivotable mounted on a common axis (6).
  4. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the catch (1) allows inducing an opening moment of force into the pawl (2) in order to move the pawl (2) out of its latching position.
  5. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a cam (9), which allows to move the pawl (2) additionally out of its latching position, specifically particularly in a deferred manner.
  6. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a blocking lever (3), which allows to block the pawl (2) in its latching position.
  7. Lock according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the release lever (4) allows to move the blocking lever (3) out of its blocking position.
  8. Lock according to one of the two preceding claims, characterized by a spring (23) for moving the blocking lever (3) in its blocking position.
  9. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a spring (24) for moving the catch (1) in its opening position.
  10. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the release lever (4) comprises three lever arms (10, 15, 22).
  11. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the pawl (2) comprises two lever arms (8, 11).
  12. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by a blocking lever (3) with two lever arms (21, 25).
