Claims (17)

  1. Display mechanism for displaying several mutually different horometric items of information comprising several information supports (8) on each of which appears one of said horometric items of information, characterized in that the display mechanism further comprises a magazine (6), in which are stored said information supports (8), a platform (10) arranged to receive, in a movable manner according to the horometric items of information to be displayed, the selected information support (8), first displacement means (12) for moving the selected information support (8) between an inactive storage position in the magazine (6) and an active operating position on the platform (10), said first displacement means (12) being mounted between the magazine (6) and the platform (10), and control means (14) for controlling said first displacement means (12).
  2. Mechanism according to claim 1, characterized in that the magazine (6) comprises various superposed housings (38) respectively arranged to receive an information support (8) and in that said magazine (6) is mounted to be movable in translation so as to bring the selected information support (8) to the level of the first displacement means (12).
  3. Mechanism according to claim 2, characterized in that the mechanism comprises first actuation means (40) arranged to move the magazine (6) so as to bring the selected information support (8) to the level of the first displacement means (12).
  4. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the information support (8) comprises a disc (16) bearing the horometric item of information and comprising first positioning means for positioning said horometric item of information bearing disc (16) on the platform (10), and a ring (22) in which the horometric item of information bearing disc (16) is mounted for free rotation and comprising second positioning means (30) for positioning the information support (8) in the magazine (6).
  5. Mechanism according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the ring (22) further comprises housings (32) arranged to receive the first displacement means (12) of the selected information support (8).
  6. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the first displacement means (12) of the selected information support (8) comprise an arm (80) pivotally mounted between the magazine (6) and the platform (10) and having gripping means for gripping the selected information support (8).
  7. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the platform (10) comprises as many crowns (112a, 112b) as there are horometric items of information to be displayed on the platform (10), each of said crowns (112a, 112b) being arranged to receive an associated information support (8) and being movable in rotation at a speed selected according to the horometric item of information displayed on the associated information support (8).
  8. Mechanism according to claims 4 and 7, characterized in that each crown (112a, 112b) comprises third positioning means arranged to cooperate with the first positioning means for positioning the disc (16) bearing the horometric item of information, the first and third positioning means being arranged such that the disc (16) bearing the horometric item of information is positioned on the associated crown (112a, 112b) to correctly display the associated horometric item of information.
  9. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the third positioning means arranged on crowns (112a, 112b) are movable in translation between a low position for setting the selected information support (8) in place on the platform, and a high position permitting cooperation between the selected information support (8) and the crown (112a, 112b) associated therewith.
  10. Mechanism according to claim 9, characterized in that the platform (10) comprises second displacement means (126) arranged to move the third positioning means arranged on the crown (112a, 112b) in translation between the low position and the high position thereof.
  11. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mechanism further comprises coupling means arranged to pivot the selected information support (8) positioned on the platform (10) until said selected information support (8) cooperates with the associated crown (112a, 112b).
  12. Mechanism according to claim 11, characterized in that the mechanism further comprises second actuation means for actuating the coupling means.
  13. Mechanism according to claims 1, 10 and 12, characterized in that the control means (14) of said first displacement means (12) of the selected information support (8) comprise a centralised control unit (88) also arranged to control the second displacement means (126) of the third positioning means provided on the crown (112a, 112b) and the second actuation means for actuating the coupling means.
  14. Mechanism according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the mechanism comprises a first safety device arranged to ensure the holding of the first displacement means (12) when the information support (8) is in an active or inactive position.
  15. Mechanism according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the mechanism comprises a second safety device of the start-up of the display mechanism arranged to prevent any motion of the first displacement means (12) when the magazine (6) is not correctly positioned.
  16. Mechanism according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the mechanism comprises a third safety device arranged to prevent motion of the magazine (6) when the first displacement means (12) are not arranged in front of said magazine (6).
  17. Timepiece including a display mechanism according to any of the preceding claims.
