Description
The invention relates to a drain fitting with a floor drain valve and a device for automatically actuating the floor drain valve for a sanitary basin, in particular a bathtub, depending on the height of the water level in the sanitary basin. A disadvantage of this drain set, however, is that due to the medium term unavoidable contamination of the mechanism by soap, foam, hair, etc. the reliable triggering function is not guaranteed. The result is that the drain valve opens either too early and thus the desired water level is not reached, or that the drain valve opens too late and thus the overflow protection is not given.

A further embodiment of the device according to the invention is characterized in that its measuring and control device is provided with a timer, preferably an adjustable timer which, after automatically opening the floor drain valve due to a detected by the pressure sensor water level that corresponds to a predetermined maximum water level or exceeds this at the end of a defined period of time, causes a closing of the floor drain valve. As a result, the outflow of a sufficiently high volume of water via the floor drain valve to ensure overflow protection can be achieved in a relatively simple manner.
According to a further advantageous embodiment, the measuring and control device of the device according to the invention is provided with at least one adjusting means, by means of which a minimum water level height or a thereto proportional size at which the floor drain valve is closed by the actuator is adjustable. This makes it possible to adjust the minimum water level height flexible, so that it can be adjusted individually according to the wishes of the user of the bathtub or sanitary pool. In particular, this embodiment makes it possible to optimally adapt the device according to the invention to baths of different depths (wall height).
For the reliable operation of the device according to the invention, a further embodiment of the invention provides that the electronic measuring and control device is prepared to check a pressure signal output by the pressure sensor and the actuator activating control current, for example, the motor current de de floor drain valve associated actuator, for plausibility ,
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the electronic measuring and control device has a processor, preferably a microprocessor, and a component monitoring the function of the processor, for example a so-called "watchdog". Thus, a possible malfunction of the processor can be detected and then either signaled or a suitable jump instruction, which cleans up the existing malfunction, are initiated. The signal or the jump instruction serve as a trigger for one or more other components of the device according to the invention, which are intended to eliminate the malfunction. In this way, a complete failure of the device according to the invention caused by software failure can be avoided.
According to a further embodiment of the device according to the invention, the electronic measuring and control device is designed such that it emits an acoustic and / or optical signal in case of malfunction of the processor and / or the pressure sensor and / or the actuator. The monitoring component ("watchdog") is embodied, for example, in the processor, preferably a microprocessor, or as a microelectronic component which is mounted together with the processor on a printed circuit board.
A further advantageous embodiment of the device according to the invention is characterized in that the electronic measuring and control device and / or the actuator is / are provided with an accumulator. Accordingly, a further embodiment of the invention provides that the electronic measuring and control device is provided with a device which monitors the state of charge of the accumulator and triggers an opening of the floor drain valve falls below a predetermined or too low state of charge of the accumulator and / or an acoustic and / or emits optical signal.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the line to which the pressure sensor is arranged, is designed such that when filling the sanitary basin, in particular a bathtub, with water forms an air bubble in front of the pressure sensor.
In

The formation of the line 6 as a bypass has the advantage that the line 6 is flushed when opening the drain valve of draining water and thus cleaned. In addition, the line 6 is easily accessible for cleaning purposes via the arranged in the bottom of the
The
The line 6, on which the
Another embodiment of the device is that the electronic measuring and control device is prepared to check the pressure sensor signal and the control current of the actuator, for example, the motor current of the
In order to ensure reliable operation of the device even in the event of a power failure, the electronic measuring and control device and / or the actuator are provided with an accumulator (not shown). Preferably, the electronic measuring and control device is provided with a device which monitors the state of charge of the accumulator and triggers opening of the floor drain valve falls below a critical state of charge and / or emits an acoustic and / or optical signal.
The embodiment of the invention is not limited to the embodiment shown in the drawing. On the contrary, numerous variants are conceivable which make use of the invention specified in the appended claims, even if the design deviates from the example shown. In particular, it is within the scope of the invention that the measuring and control device with a timer, preferably an adjustable timer is provided, which causes after automatic opening of the floor drain valve due to a detected by the
