Description

The invention relates to a car for an elevator, in particular an external elevator, such as is used, for example, as a construction elevator, freight elevator or as a transport platform on construction sites, with a protective roof.

External elevators are used, for example, on building construction sites to transport people and / or material to the upper floors of the building to be built or renovated. E.g. construction hoists are also used to erect scaffolding.

Material lifts are regularly provided exclusively for the transport of goods without being accompanied by people. In this case, it is not permitted to transport people in the car.

However, there are also construction hoists such as so-called transport platforms, which are primarily intended for the transport of goods, but where trained lift operators can accompany the goods transport together with other people and are allowed to stay in the car during the journey. However, such construction hoists must meet special regulations with regard to the safety of the people to be transported.

Other construction hoists, which have to meet particularly strict safety precautions, are approved for the transport of untrained persons and material.

External elevators, which are approved for the transport of people, regularly have a protective roof arranged above a loading space of the elevator car as protection for people traveling with them against falling parts. Such a canopy is however, in certain situations, for example when loading the car with material, due to its size and bulkiness.

From the DE 298 02 092 U1 a car for an elevator with a protective roof is known, the protective roof being adjustable from a first operating position, in which it at least partially delimits a cargo space in the elevator car upwards, into a second operating position, in which it is in the first operating position Releases upwardly limited cargo space at least partially upwards.

A car according to the preamble of claim 1 is from FR 2 845 074 A1 known.

In view of the problems described, it is the object of the present invention to provide a car for an external elevator in which people can be transported safely and securely, and which is at the same time easily accessible when it is used to transport loads.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the car described in claim 1. Further developments and advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The protective roof of the elevator car according to the invention is not only adjustable from a first operating position, in which it at least partially delimits the cargo space provided in the elevator car upwards, into a second operating position, in which it at least partially moves the cargo space that is limited upwards in the first operating position releases at the top.

In other words, in the first operating position, the protective roof is arranged above the car floor in such a way that it covers the persons accommodated in the car and thus offers protection against parts falling from above. In contrast, the protective roof is arranged in the second operating position in such a way that a cargo space above the elevator car floor does not, or only hardly, of the Protective roof is covered. In other words, that part of the cargo space that is covered by the protective roof in the first operating position is at least partially open at the top in the second operating position. This has the advantage that, on the one hand, the car can be loaded and unloaded from above without any problems, and on the other hand, elongated goods such as long pipes or scaffolding parts can be placed upright on the car floor without bumping into the protective roof or being hindered by it .

Rather, according to the invention, the protective canopy can also be adjusted from the first operating position and / or from the second operating position by pivoting about a substantially vertical axis into a further operating position. In particular, starting from the second operating position in which the protective roof is arranged essentially in a vertical plane, the protective roof can be pivoted through the cargo space about a vertical axis. As a result of this further pivotability, the protective roof, which, due to its bulkiness, may hinder loading and / or unloading of the car in the second operating position, can be moved out of the way in an even more flexible manner.

In the first operating position, the protective roof preferably covers more than 50% of the loading space of the car, particularly preferably more than 80%, in particular completely, and in the second operating position preferably less than 50%, particularly preferably less than 20%, in particular not at all. In this case, the protective roof can have an area which essentially corresponds to an area of a car floor or is even larger, so the protective roof can run essentially parallel to the car floor in the first operating position.

The invention is based on the knowledge that a roof-free car, as it is regularly used in pure freight elevators, is significantly better suited for the transport of bulky, voluminous and / or particularly long loads than a car with a protective roof set up for passenger transport, because the canopy limits the available load space at the top. The complete dismantling of the protective roof to remove the car from passenger transport to the transport of loads retrofitting, however, is time-consuming and cumbersome. However, because the protective roof according to the invention is adjustable, a changeover from a passenger transport platform (operating mode passenger elevator) with a protective roof to a "roof-free" material transport platform (operating mode material elevator) is possible quickly and easily.

In the first operating position, the protective roof is preferably arranged above a car floor and runs essentially horizontally. In the second operating position, however, the protective roof can run essentially vertically. A roof running horizontally over the car floor offers good protection against falling parts. A vertically running roof, which preferably runs essentially parallel to one of the side walls of the car, hardly obstructs the cargo space and allows elongated components to be transported in the car.

With regard to a space-saving arrangement of the protective roof in the second operating position, it has proven to be expedient that the protective roof in the second operating position at least partially forms part of a rear or side wall of the elevator car and can thus be used to lean on building material. The adjusted protective roof can extend one of the side walls or a rear wall of the car upwards so that an elongated component can be conveniently leaned against this extended side wall.

With regard to a structurally simple and quickly adjustable arrangement of the protective roof, it has proven advantageous that the protective roof can be pivoted or tilted from the first operating position into the second operating position about a preferably horizontally extending pivot axis. Conversely, the protective roof can also be pivoted or tilted from the second back to the first operating position.

An advantageously designed folding mechanism for adjusting the protective roof provides that the protective roof can be folded down from the first operating position by approximately 90 ° in the direction of a rear or side wall of the car. The rear wall can be the side wall of the car facing a mast.

To prevent unintentional adjustment of the protective roof, at least one securing element such as a screw for securing the protective roof in the first operating position and / or in the second operating position can be provided. In this case, the protective roof can only be adjusted after the securing element or securing elements have been released. With the help of an appropriately designed securing element, it can also be prevented that an unauthorized person folds down the protective roof.

With a view to the greatest possible flexibility when loading the car, the protective roof can be detachably attached to the car. In other words, the protective roof can be completely removed from the car if necessary, for example when particularly bulky goods are to be transported.

The transport of particularly elongated goods with the aid of the car can be simplified if the protective roof can be adjusted from the second operating position to a third operating position in which it is arranged at least in sections further away from the car floor than in the second operating position. In this case, the goods to be transported can be leaned against the section of the protective roof that is remote from the car floor, so that the goods can reliably be prevented from tipping over.

The adjustment of the protective roof into the third operating position can take place by displacing the protective roof in the vertical direction starting from the second operating position. E.g. the protective roof, which preferably runs essentially vertically, is pushed vertically upwards by a predetermined amount and is fastened in this position to a fastening section of the elevator car. For this purpose, the car and / or the protective roof can have a guide. In the third operating position, the canopy can be secured with the aid of a securing element such as a screw or a bolt. The further the upper section of the protective roof is away from the car floor in the third operating position, the longer components can be leaned against the protective roof in the cargo space of the car without the risk of tipping over.

In this context, an offset width of the protective roof between the second and the third operating position of more than 30 cm and less than 150 cm, preferably of more than 50 cm and less than 100 cm, in particular of about 60 cm, has proven advantageous. In other words, the protective roof can be moved upwards by about 60 cm and can be fixed in this position. Displacement by this length is sufficient to be able to securely accommodate scaffolding poles and scaffolding floors of the usual length in the loading space of the car.

To facilitate the loading and transport of elongated goods in the car, it has proven advantageous to provide a holder attached to the protective roof for holding building material such as scaffolding parts or pipes in the second and / or third operating position. Goods such as scaffolding parts can be attached to and / or secured to the holder so that they are prevented from tipping over during transport.

The holder can be arranged so that it can be folded out on a surface of the protective roof which, in the folded operating position, is directed towards the interior of the car. In the first operating position, the holder can be folded into contact with the protective roof so that it does not protrude outward from the surface of the protective roof, while in the second operating position it can be folded down in such a way that loads leaning against the adjusted protective roof can be attached to it or are fixable.

Furthermore, the holder can have one or more holding parts such as holding rods, holding ropes, chains or the like. which prevent material leaning against the protective roof from tipping over, slipping or the like.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, in the second and / or third operating position, the protective roof covers a control element of the elevator arranged on the elevator car. Then the elevator with the elevator car according to the invention can no longer be controlled from the elevator car when the protective roof is in the "material elevator operating mode", that is to say in the second or third operating position. In these operating positions there is a Transport of people without a protective roof is not intended due to the risk potential.

According to a further, particularly important aspect of the invention, the protective cover can be adjusted from the third operating position into a further operating position by pivoting about the essentially vertical axis. In particular, starting from the third operating position, in which the protective roof is arranged essentially in a vertical plane, the protective roof can be pivoted through the loading space about a vertical axis, wherein the vertical axis can be formed by a rod part protruding upwards from a lift cage corner . As a result of this further pivotability, the protective roof, which, due to its bulkiness, may impede loading and / or unloading of the car in the second or third operating position, can be moved out of the way in an even more flexible manner.

When building scaffolding, in particular, scaffolding parts and mast parts are alternately transported in the car of the construction elevator. Whenever the scaffolding has gained a certain height, the mast of the elevator can be raised by a corresponding height. After the mast has been raised, the scaffolding parts that are then required can again be conveyed higher up using the elevator car, which simplifies the scaffolding construction. In this way, the scaffolding and the elevator mast are alternately erected to a desired final height. The mast structure can, however, be hindered in the second and / or in the third operating position by the protective roof which is folded down and which closes a rear side of the cargo space on which the car faces the mast.

With regard to a simplified mast structure, it has therefore proven to be expedient that, in the further operating position, a window that is open at the top is formed on a rear side of the cargo space. Through this window, which is open at the top, the mast parts can be mounted directly on the top of the mast to raise the mast. In the further operating position, the loading space is preferably completely cleared towards the top at the same time. This can be done after the master's degree has been increased Protective roof for the transport of scaffolding parts are in turn pivoted inward about the vertical axis into the second or third operating position so that the scaffolding parts can be leaned against the protective roof forming the rear wall of the car and can be accommodated in the scaffold holder attached to it. In other words, in the further operating position, at least an upper part of a rear side of the cargo space facing the mast is released.

Preferably, starting from the second or third operating position, the protective roof can be pivoted by 90 ° or more into the further operating position, so that it is no longer arranged above the elevator car and no longer represents any assembly hindrance.

With regard to the provision of both a pivoting option around the vertical axis into the further operating position and a tilting option around the horizontal axis starting from the first operating position, it has proven to be advantageous that the protective roof in the further operating position at only a single stop point with the Cabin is connected. This stop point is preferably formed at the upper end of a corner linkage of the car. On the other hand, in the other operating positions, in particular in the first operating position, the protective roof can be connected to the car via more than one stop point, in particular via two or more stop points. These two stop points can be arranged at the upper ends of two corner bars of the car on the mast side of the car.

The invention also relates to an elevator, in particular an external elevator, construction elevator and / or material elevator with a car according to the invention.

In the description that follows, the invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawing. In the drawing shows:
  • Fig. 1 a perspective view of a car in which the protective roof is placed in the first operating position,
  • Fig. 2 Figure 3 is a perspective view of the car Fig. 1 with the protective cover in the second operating position,
  • Fig. 3 Figure 3 is a perspective view of the car Fig. 1 , in which the protective cover is in the third operating position, and
  • Fig. 4 a perspective view of a car according to the invention, in which the protective roof is placed in the further operating position.

In Fig. 1 an inventive elevator car 10 of an external elevator such as a construction site elevator or a transport platform is shown in a perspective view.

External elevators regularly have a guide which can be fastened to a wall of a building and thus regularly extends in a vertical direction. The guide consists of one or two mast towers to which the car 10 can be movably attached. The car 10 is used to accommodate the people to be transported and the goods to be transported. The mast towers are used to guide and move the car. As a rule, at least one of the mast towers is provided with at least one toothed rack for this purpose, which extends in the longitudinal axial direction of the guide and in which a pinion of an electric drive unit engages. In such elevators, the travel drive is thus accommodated in the area of the car and is accordingly moved along with the car. The elevator car according to the invention is equally suitable for external elevators with other drive or mast arrangements.

The elevator car 10 according to the invention can be operated from a "passenger elevator operating mode" which is shown in FIG Fig. 1 is shown, can be adjusted in a "material elevator operating mode", which is in the Figures 2 and 3 is shown. In the passenger elevator operating mode, people and goods can be transported, while in the material elevator operating mode, only goods are to be transported.

The car 10 has an adjustable roof 20 which is in a Fig. 1 illustrated first operating position (I) is arranged above a car floor 12 and limits the cargo space of the car at the top. In the first operating position (I), the roof 20 runs essentially horizontally and thus protects people who are transported in the elevator car 10 from falling objects. With regard to the safety of the people to be transported in the elevator car, the roof 20 has an essentially closed material layer, such as a metal sheet, which reliably stops or at least deflects falling objects. The closed material layer can be attached to retaining struts. However, in the first operating position (I), the roof 20 prevents elongated goods and components such as pipes or scaffolding parts from being received in the car.

The roof 20 can be moved from the first operating position (I) to the in Fig. 2 illustrated second operating position (II) can be adjusted, in which substantially the entire cargo space of the car 10 is open at the top. The adjustment takes place by tilting the roof 20 downwards about an axis of rotation A. Since the loading space is not limited at the top in the second operating position (II), elongated components such as scaffolding parts and pipes can also be transported in the car. For this purpose, the elongated components can be leaned against the folded-down roof 20, which in the folded-down position can form part of the rear wall 14 of the car. In particular, the roof 20 runs essentially vertically in the second operating position (II), with an upper section 26 of the roof 20 protruding further upwards than the other side walls of the car.

The roof can be moved from the second operating position (II) to the in Fig. 3 shown third operating position (III) can be adjusted. For this purpose, the roof 20 is offset upwards by more than 30 cm, in particular by about 60 cm, in the vertical direction, so that an upper edge 26 of the roof 20 projects particularly far upwards. Components such as pipes can be leaned against this upper edge 26 without the risk of tipping over.

In each operating position (I, II, III), the roof 20 can be secured with the aid of securing elements such as two or more screws or bolts, so that it cannot be accidentally loosened.

In addition, the roof 20 can also be completely removed from the car 10, for example when particularly bulky loads are to be transported.

A holder 22 in the form of a fold-out scaffold holding device is fastened to a surface of the roof 20 which is directed upwards in the first operating position. When the holder is unfolded in the second or third operating position (II, III), holding parts 24 in the form of holding rods protrude in the direction of the cargo space, whereby the components to be transported can be supported or fixed on the holding parts 24. In particular, elongated components on the holder 22 can be secured against tipping over or slipping. Depending on the shape and weight of the components 60 to be transported, the holder 22 can also be designed differently and, for example, be attached at a different height or have other or additional holding elements such as hooks, chains, ropes or the like.

In the second and third operating position (II, III) the roof 20 covers a control provided in the elevator car for controlling the elevator, so that the elevator can only be controlled from the elevator car in the first operating position (I). The car is only intended for passenger transport in the first operating position (I).

Based on the in Fig. 3 The third operating position (III) shown can move the canopy around a vertical axis V into the position shown in FIG Fig. 4 further operating position (IV) shown are pivoted. In the further operating position (IV), the protective roof no longer forms part of the rear car wall 14, so that components 60 to be transported can no longer be leaned against it. Rather, the upper part of the rear wall is open to form a "window" 50 which is open at the top in the direction of a mast 55 arranged behind it. In addition, the cargo area is completely open at the top. Mast parts can be placed directly on a mast top via this window in order to change the height of the mast 55. When removing the mast you can Mast parts can be removed through the upwardly open window 50 and taken up directly in the cargo space of the car. For the transport of scaffolding parts or other components 60, the protective roof can in turn be moved into the in Fig. 3 The third operating position (III) shown, in which the components 60 can be received in the holder 22, are pivoted. The protective roof is arranged essentially in a vertical plane throughout.

For pivoting, a joint is arranged in an upper section of a corner post 58 of the car 10, via which the protective roof 20 is connected to the car cabin. In the further operating position (IV) this joint forms the only stop point of the protective roof 20 on the car 10. In the other operating positions, however, the protective roof 20 is connected to the car cabin via at least one further stop point 59, for example by means of a hook or spring bolt. A spring latch can be released particularly quickly and easily by pulling it out of a corner post and rotating it into a release position.

The invention is not restricted to the embodiment shown. E.g. If the protective roof is not necessarily folded down about an axis of rotation, but can also be brought into an essentially vertical position in some other way, in which it releases the cargo space upwards. Alternatively, the holder is not integrated into the roof so that it can be folded out, but can be permanently attached to the roof or attached or detached as required. Furthermore, the protective roof can also be pivoted directly from the second operating position into the further operating position without it necessarily having to be moved upwards beforehand.
