Definitions

  • the invention relates to a catch catcher for a firearm, which is operated on both sides of the firearm and this on both sides of the firearm projecting handles, and is integrally formed and a respectively equipped with such a catch lever firearm grip and firearms case.
  • positional designations such as “top”, “bottom”, “front”, “rear” etc. always refer to a gun held in normal firing position in which the axis of the soul is horizontal and firing is forward away from the shooter.
  • Lock catch are known in different versions and have the task to catch a lock and hold or release the firing.
  • This automatic catching and holding the leading shutter when the magazine is empty has, among other things, two advantages: Firstly, the shooter immediately recognizes when the magazine is empty and secondly, after inserting a full magazine, he can remove a cartridge without loosening the shutter To load a weapon.
  • both sides operable locking lever have become known. However, they are all constructed in several parts and therefore make the manufacture of the weapon consuming. In addition, these multi-part structures in rough maneuvering or even combat operation are more susceptible to damage or failure of the parts, for example due to contamination.
  • the US Pat. No. 7,661,219 B1 describes, for example, a catch catcher for a firearm, which can be operated on both sides via an additional multi-part rod construction.
  • US 2005/0183310 A1 describes a double-sided, multi-part catch catcher of a firearm. This includes a downwardly extended rod and can be operated by a trigger element on both sides.
  • DE 1 890 933 U discloses a three-armed catch catcher, according to the preamble of claim 1, the front arm engages in its catch position in the catch lever and the lower arm extends approximately at right angles to the trigger and is provided to release the shutter catch lever.
  • US 2012/0167424 A1 discloses a multi-part, double-sided operated catch lever whose outer handles are operable to a respective fixed in the housing pivot axis.
  • US 2010/0251591 A1 discloses a shutter catch lever with a left hand operating handle.
  • An extension lever is provided thereon, which extends downwards and projects approximately at right angles into the area of the trigger.
  • the extension lever is attached via a bolt to the handle of the shutter catch lever.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a two-sided operable, but structurally simple and at the same time functionally reliable locking catch for firearms.
  • the weapon housing comprises an integrally formed weapon housing and a multi-part weapon housing, which consists for example of an upper housing part and a lower housing part.
  • the shutter catch lever is provided there at a suitable position.
  • the housing lower part can be described as a handle module, a handle module with a magazine slot for receiving a magazine, a handle module with a receptacle for a trigger, a handle module with a magazine slot and a receptacle for a trigger, a handle module with a receptacle for a trigger and a shoulder rest or a handle module with a magazine shaft, a receptacle for a trigger device and a shoulder rest may be formed.
  • the closure catch lever according to the invention thus turns on the basis of its integral nature of the multi-part design principle, is simple and reliable, thereby increasing the reliability of a stocked with him firearm.
  • the closure catch lever according to the invention can be, for example, known metal casting or metal injection molding process, so-called MIM process (Metal Injection Molding), but also z. B. over conventional sintering process, produce inexpensively.
  • the pivot axis can be arranged both left side and right side. This allows short lever paths and prevents unintentional pivoting of the shutter catch lever.
  • closure catch lever is preferably mounted such that it is held in its release position by an elastic element.
  • the release position of the shutter catch lever is known to be the position in which it allows the shutter to run forward unhindered.
  • an elastic element e.g. be provided a spring, a rubber-like or another suitable component. This holds the shutter catch lever elastically biased in its release position.
  • the catch catcher pivots into a catching / holding position, blocks the leading catch and thus prevents a closure advance without taking a cartridge.
  • the shutter catch lever has a protruding from him, projecting into the magazine shaft Tastvorsprung, such that the Tastvorsprung with the Patronenzufringer an empty shot magazine engages and thereby automatically transferred using the magazine spring the catch catch lever from its release position into its catch / hold position ,
  • the Tastvorsprung may be formed as a nose or teeth, in particular ramp-shaped at its front upper side. This ensures that the retracting closure can not catch on one of its trailing edges on the front of the shutter catch lever.
  • the Tastvorsprung protrudes only so far into the rear top of the magazine, that although he acted on the cartridge feeder, but can not be touched by the cartridge shelves, allowing an unobstructed supply of the cartridges.
  • the cartridge feeder preferably has an area which projects beyond the base of the cartridge, so that this outwardly extending area-but not the cartridges located in the magazine-can be brought into engagement with the tactile projection of the closure catch lever. This outreach area of the cartridge transferring transfers that of the Magazine spring on him exerted pressure on the Tastvorsprung and thereby pivots the entire shutter catch lever up in its catch / hold position.
  • the tactile projection ensures that the closure is securely caught and held in an open closure position after the last cartridge has been dropped. As a result, the shooter recognizes that his magazine is empty and can change the magazine.
  • the shutter catch lever comprises three handles for its operation, namely two at its end near its pivot axis and another at its pivot axis remote end.
  • the closure catch lever can be transferred by pressure on one of its handles from its catch / hold position to its release position.
  • the bore for the locking catch lever pivot axis between the two handles is provided in the area near the pivot axis.
  • the handles may have the same or different lengths. The locking catch is so easy to use and allows a compact design.
  • the shooter may transfer the catch catcher from its catching / holding position to its release position by pushing one of the two handles inwardly on the end of the catching lever near the pivot axis and / or pushing down the handle attached to the other end of the catch catch.
  • the shooter after a magazine change the closing catch lever pressure applied to one of its handles to transfer it from its catch / hold position to its release position. This allows the re-released closure continue its interrupted flow and insert a cartridge from the magazine into the chamber.
  • the shooter can directly after replacing the magazine, the weapon with his free hand, not on the handle or handle hand with one hand load.
  • the pressurization of a handle takes place with the free, not on the handle hand.
  • the operability on both the left side and the right side ergonomically form for right-handed and left-handed
  • the shutter catch lever on another handle, which pivots by pressure by the shooter, the shutter catch lever manually in the catch / hold position.
  • the shooter can thus easily catch the shutter manually. This is e.g. required during the security check or for cleaning purposes of the weapon. For example, the shooter must catch the lock of the weapons so that the security personnel can check the ammunition freedom of the weapon.
  • the closure catch lever preferably has a slip-resistant surface on at least one of its handles.
  • the non-slip surface can be created for example by recesses, such as grooves in the surface or a rubber coating. This makes it possible to operate the locking lever even with gloves in a wet environment without slipping off. This can increase the safety of a weapon.
  • the shutter catch lever is designed as a retrofit kit.
  • closure catch lever according to the invention Due to the simple and at the same time space-saving design of the closure catch lever according to the invention also existing grips or weapon housing, in particular housing bases can be retrofitted with him. For example, with a milling machine, a slot can simply be milled into the weapon housing or the grip piece or the housing base and the closure catch lever according to the invention can be inserted there. As a result, firearms, such as standard rifles such as the type M16, can be retrofitted with the closure catch lever according to the invention. Thus, even older weapons can be inexpensively retrofitted with a two-sided operated catch lever.
  • the catch lever according to the invention is preferably from the outset part of the weapon housing or the housing base.
  • Many weapons are nowadays made up of individual assemblies, as so faulty or defective parts can be easily replaced, which also applies in particular to a handle or weapon housing or housing base with built-in inventive catch lever.
  • closure catch lever according to the invention is also part of a weapon housing or handle or housing base.
  • the weapon housing preferably has at least one additional protection projection for at least one of the handles of the closure catch lever.
  • the one or more protective projections may already be provided during manufacture, such as the casting of a weapon housing, or be realized by attachments.
  • the protective projections prevent unintentional pivoting of the catch lever, which could adversely affect the functioning of the weapon.
  • the catch catcher is also protected against impact and damage and, consequently, against bending or breaking off.
  • one of the handles of the shutter catch lever projects towards the shooter and forms with the weapon housing an angle of 70 to 110 degrees, in particular a right angle.
  • the handle for the shooter is ergonomically comfortable and easy to reach and operate, but does not stand so far that it catches in the clothing of the shooter, which increases overall weapon safety.
  • FIG. 1 The structure of a shutter catch lever 1 is first based on FIG. 1 explained. It is subdivided into three areas 23, 25, 27 for better understanding. A first, left portion 23 protrudes on the left side (viewed from the point of view of the shooter in the direction of firing) beyond a weapon housing, not shown, and allows its operation from the left side of the weapon. A middle region 25 connects the first region 23 to a right, third region 27.
  • the shutter catch lever 1 is pivotable about a pivot axis 5 between a release position in which it releases a shutter not shown for firing and a catch / hold position in which it catches and holds the shutter.
  • a first handle 7 and a second handle 17 for left-side operation of the shutter catch lever 1 are provided. Both handles 7 and 17 are portions of a clockwise and counterclockwise pivotable two-armed lever 4 having an upper lever arm 6 and a lower lever arm 41.
  • the handle 7 has a slip-resistant corrugation 11, which ensures their safe manual handling and in particular prevents it from slipping off. With it, the catch lever 1 can in particular be pivoted manually from its catch / hold position to its release position.
  • the handle 17 of the lower lever arm 41 may have a slip-resistant surface. With her, the catch lever 1 can be manually pivot from its release position into its catch / hold position.
  • pivot axis 5 of the two-armed lever 4 is arranged in a bore dowel pin or pin or axle, which is held in the weapon housing or housing base 37 (see. Fig. 2 to 5 ) and the entire locking lever 1 carries.
  • the locking lever 1 is pivotable about the clamping pin 5.
  • a spline ring may also be provided at the free end of a pin which secures the pin and the catch catcher 1 from falling out / losing.
  • On the right side surface of the lower lever arm 41 is a flat surface 29, which merges into a groove 19 in the upward direction at the transition to the second region 25.
  • the groove 19 facilitates pivoting of the shutter catch lever 1 to the housing base 37, in which it provides over a straight edge more play for the movement.
  • a subsequent carrier 21 in the second central region 25 is planar and forms together with the two-armed lever 4 substantially a lying T-shape, wherein the carrier 21, the "leg” and the lever 4 represent the crossbar of the "T's".
  • the lying support 21 is - unlike a T - upwards to a catching / holding area 9 away, which forms a shooters facing area of a total ramp-shaped projection 8 on the carrier 21 (see. 4 to 6 ).
  • the catching / holding area 9 serves as an abutment for him - in the catch / hold position of the shutter catch lever 1 - impinging shutter (not shown) in its forward. If the catching / holding region 9 and the closure are in mutual engagement, the closure and closure catch lever 1 block each other even when the magazine is removed until the closure catch lever 1 is in its position by means of its handle 7 and / or a second handle 13 to be described Release position is transferred or until the magazine is removed, the shutter is retracted and the shutter catch lever 1 is pivoted by the force exerted on the bolt 31 pressure of the spring 33 back to its release position.
  • the total area formed by the shooter-facing surface of the carrier 21 and the catching / holding region 9 is flat from the point of view of the shooter, but has an edge 43 in the horizontal direction.
  • the edge 43 stems from the fact that the catching / holding region 9 projecting somewhat in the manner of a shoulder in the direction of the shooter with respect to the carrier 21.
  • the horizontal edge 43 thus forms a projecting shoulder between the surface of the carrier 21 and the surface of the catching / holding region 9 at the base 8.
  • This projecting horizontal edge 43 forms with the surface of the catching / holding region 9 at the shoulder 8 a stop for a Cock (not shown), if it is knocked off at a separated from the upper housing part housing part 37 to protect the lower housing part 37 from damage by the cut cock.
  • the projection 8 extends in the weft direction ramped such that its ramp surface in the weft direction, ie in the direction of the magazine shaft (44) drops (see. 4 to 6 ). This extension is finally at your front end in the weft direction in a serrated or nose-shaped tactual projection 45 on.
  • the tactile projection 45 is formed and adapted to engage the rearwardly projecting portion of the cartridge feeder 47 of an empty magazine (not shown) (see FIG. 4 to 6 ).
  • a third handle 13 with a corrugation 15 is shown in the third right area 27 .
  • the handle 13 extends parallel to the axis of the soul of the firearm.
  • the handle 13 and its side surface 39 form the plane surface of the support 21 approximately at a right angle.
  • Fig. 2 and 4 each show a used in a housing base 37 shutter catch lever 1 in its release position and Fig. 3 and 5 in his catch / hold position.
  • a bolt 31 is inserted in a recess or blind hole 34 in the weapon housing 37.
  • the bolt 31 is rounded at its voltage applied to the flat surface 29 head.
  • a spring 33 inserted into the blind bore 34 biases the bolt 31 against the flat surface 29 and thus pivots the locking catch 1 into its release position.
  • Fig. 5 is the shutter catch 1 in its catch / hold position.
  • the cartridge feeder 47 of an empty magazine with the Tastvorsprung 45 of the shutter catch lever 1 is engaged.
  • a spring not shown, urges the cartridge feeder 47 and thus the Tastvorsprung 45 upwards. Since the Tastvorsprung 45 is an integral part of the shutter catch lever 1, and the shutter catch lever 1 pivots about the pivot axis 5 from its release position into its catch / hold position and pushes with its flat surface 29 the bolt 31 against the force of the spring 33 in the blind hole 34th
  • the shutter After firing the shutter runs when the magazine is empty when returning over the ramp surface of the neck 8 of the shutter catch lever 1 and urges the shutter catch 1 against the force of the spring (not shown) of the cartridge 47 back to the release position.
  • the shutter runs in the direction of the shooter back. As soon as the returning shutter has passed the catch lever 1, it pivots as before darg Hor with empty magazine in its catch / hold position. The shutter then continues to run back against closing springs, not shown. At maximum compression of the closing springs, the end of the return of the closure is reached and the closing springs then push the closure back in the weft direction. During the advance of the closure in the weft direction, this bounces against the flat surface of the catch-holding area 9 and is trapped there.
  • the shooter can unlock the empty magazine via a magazine release, not shown, and remove it from the magazine slot.
  • the cartridge feeder 47 comes out of engagement with the Tastvorsprung 45.
  • the catch lever 1 can not automatically swing back into the release position, since the closure is urged over the closing springs with its front end against the catch / holding surface 9.
  • the shooter can now insert a full magazine into the magazine slot.
  • the shutter catch lever 1 can now be transferred to its release position: For this purpose, the shooter either the left handle 7 in the direction of the weapon housing or housing base and / or the right handle 13 down to a protective projection 49 (see. Fig.
  • Fig. 6 shows a side view of a used in a housing part 37 according to the invention the locking lever in its release position.
  • a protective projection 49 is formed, which projects laterally from the lower housing part 37 approximately at right angles.
  • the protective projection 49 may alternatively also be placed on the lower housing part 37 or attached thereto.
  • the third handle 13 In the release position, the third handle 13 is located in the vicinity of the protective projection 49 and is protected against external influences. In the catch / hold position, the handle 13 is pivoted upwardly and spaced from the protective projection 49.
