Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mounting ring for installing a recessed luminaire in a recess formed in a ceiling or wall element, which has an annular base element with a flange area for contact with the ceiling or wall element and at least one holding element for holding the base element in the installation opening. Furthermore, the invention relates to a recessed light with such a mounting ring.
  • the installation ring For mounting in the installation opening, the installation ring has latching arms which are arranged on vertically adjustable webs.
  • the locking arms comprise support elements which, when the mounting ring is fastened, engage from an inside of the mounting opening against an edge region of the mounting opening.
  • each of the locking arms consists of several individual parts. As a result, both the production and the handling are associated with considerable effort.
  • a mounting ring for a built-in lamp which has an annular base element and a holding element, the holding element being held on the base element by means of a spring.
  • the holding element can be moved back and forth between an assembly and a holding position.
  • the mounting ring can be moved into a corresponding mounting opening when the holding element is in the mounting position; in the holding position, the holding element holds the mounting ring in the mounting opening.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a corresponding improved mounting ring or a corresponding improved recessed light. In particular, the manufacture and handling should be facilitated.
  • a recessed ring for installing a recessed luminaire in a recess formed in a ceiling or wall element, which has an annular base element with a flange area for bearing against the ceiling or Has wall element. Furthermore, the installation ring has at least one holding element for holding the base element in the installation opening.
  • the at least one holding element is arranged such that it can move relative to the base element such that it can be moved back and forth between an assembly position and a holding position, the installation ring being able to be moved into the installation opening when the at least one holding element is in the assembly position and wherein the mounting ring is held in the mounting opening when the base element is positioned as intended in the mounting opening and the at least one holding element is in the holding position.
  • the mounting ring is designed in such a way that the at least one holding element is movably arranged on the base element such that it cannot be separated from the base element without changing the shape of the base element and / or the at least one holding element.
  • the mounting ring is preferably designed in such a way that the at least one holding element can be completely and reversibly separated from the base element by a, preferably manually generated, change in shape of the base element and / or of the at least one holding element. This simplifies the assembly of the mounting ring. In addition, a defective holding element, for example, can be exchanged particularly easily.
  • the base element and / or the at least one holding element are advantageously made of plastic. As a result, particularly suitable mechanical properties can be achieved with simple manufacture.
  • the holding element preferably consists of a single piece or, if appropriate, the holding elements each consist of a single piece. This allows the mounting ring to be designed with very few individual parts. This is advantageous in terms of manufacture and handling.
  • the at least one holding element for movable arrangement on the base element has first guide elements and the base element has second guide elements which interact with the first guide elements in such a way that the at least one holding element is movably arranged on the base element.
  • the first guide elements and the second guide elements comprise a guide pin and a guide surface for guiding the guide pin.
  • the first guide elements and the second guide elements also comprise a further guide pin and a further guide surface for guiding the further guide pin, the first-mentioned guide pin and the further guide pin being designed such that their free ends point towards or away from one another . This enables particularly reliable guidance.
  • the at least one holding element is connected to the base element via a snap-in connection in a particularly easy-to-use manner. This particularly facilitates the handling and also the assembly of the mounting ring.

  • the at least one holding element preferably has a release element, the mounting ring being designed such that the locking mechanism is released when the release element is actuated.
  • the holding element can be released from the holding position in a particularly simple manner, for example in order to remove the installation ring from the installation opening again.
  • a particularly reliable hold in the installation opening with an overall simple design is made possible if the installation ring has at least two holding elements, preferably has at least three holding elements.
  • a recessed luminaire in particular a recessed ceiling luminaire, which has an installation ring according to the invention.
  • Fig. 1 shows a perspective sketch of a recessed light according to the invention.
  • the built-in lamp comprises a built-in ring 1 according to the invention, which in Fig. 2 is outlined in a separate form.
  • the mounting ring 1 is used to install the recessed light in an installation opening; as in Fig. 3 indicated in a cut perspective sketch, the installation opening is formed in a ceiling or wall element D.
  • the ceiling or wall element is a horizontally oriented element, so that a horizontal plane is defined by the installation opening and that the built-in lamp is predominantly above the horizontal plane when installed like the case with a recessed ceiling light.
  • the mounting ring is generally also suitable for a different orientation, for example for installation in a vertical wall element. In such a case, the present directions etc. have to be reinterpreted accordingly.
  • the mounting ring 1 comprises an annular base element 3 with a flange area 4, which is provided for contacting the ceiling or wall element D from below.
  • the installation ring 1 comprises at least one holding element 5 for holding the base element 3 in the installation opening.
  • the at least one holding element 5 is provided in particular to hold the mounting ring 1 in connection with the flange area 4 in the mounting opening.
  • the flange area 4 can be provided for this purpose in order to be brought into abutment against an edge area of the installation opening which points towards an outside of the installation opening, in this case "from below", and the at least one holding element 5 against an inside of the installation opening to be brought into contact with the edge region of the installation opening, in this case from above, so that by interaction between the flange region 4 and the at least one holding element 5, the installation ring 1 or the installation light is held in the installation opening.
  • the mounting ring 1 has a total of exactly three holding elements 5. However, only two holding elements can also be used, for example 5 or four holding elements 5 may be provided or a still different number of holding elements 5. Basically at least one holding element 5 is provided, at least two holding elements 5 being preferred. If the mounting ring 1 or the base element 3 has a diameter of approximately 200 mm or larger, at least three holding elements 5 are preferred.

  • the mounting ring 1 is designed in such a way that the holding element 5 is movably arranged on the base element 3 in such a way that it cannot be separated from the base element 3 without changing the shape of the base element 3 and / or the holding element 5.
  • a separation is a complete separation, that is, a separation such that - with reference to one level - the holding element 5 can be moved completely to one side of the level and the base element 3 at the same time completely to the other side of the level. In this sense, of course, destruction is inevitably associated with a change in shape.
  • the design mentioned means that the risk of inadvertent separation of the holding element 5 from the base element 3 or of losing the holding element 5 is significantly reduced. As a result, the handling of the mounting ring 1, in particular when mounting the mounting ring 1 in the mounting opening, is facilitated in particular.
  • the mounting ring 1 is preferably also designed such that the holding element 5 can be completely and reversibly separated from the base element 3 by changing the shape of the base element 3 and / or the at least one holding element 5.
  • the holding element 5 can be connected to the base element 3 in a particularly simple manner and thus the mounting ring 1 can be assembled particularly easily.
