Definitions

  • the invention relates to a discharge device for at least two flowable components according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the discharge device has a storage container with a first storage chamber for a first component with a first component outlet and a second storage chamber for a second component with a second component outlet.
  • the discharge device also has a closure element which is rotatable relative to the storage container.
  • the closure element can assume a closing position and a dispensing position relative to the storage container or the storage container relative to the closure element. In the closed position, the component outlets are closed and in the discharge position, the two component outlets are open, so that a discharge of the components from the discharge device via a discharge opening is possible.
  • a change from the closed position into the discharge position is carried out by a rotation of the storage container relative to the closure element.
  • the component outlets are closed in the closed position of the closure element by flexible sealing plugs of the closure element.
  • the sealing plugs Upon rotation of the closure element from the closed position to the discharge position, the sealing plugs are pulled out of the discharge openings and thereby greatly deformed or bent.
  • the storage container and the closure element are made in one piece in the closed position and connected to one another only via connecting webs.
  • the said connecting webs are designed and arranged so that they alone or together with other components of the closure element close the component outlets tight.
  • the connecting webs are thus part of the closure element.
  • the component outlets are only tightly closed if the reservoir has not yet been brought out of the closed position. If the reservoir has ever been rotated relative to the closure element, the connecting webs may be demolished and thus present the reservoir and the closure element as separate parts. In this case, even if the reservoir is in the closed position, no longer guaranteed that the component outlets are sealed.
  • the discharge device is therefore intended in particular only for a single use.
  • the connecting webs are designed so that they tear off during a rotation of the reservoir from the closed position to the discharge position and so the component outlets are opened. Thus, the connecting webs can not be stretched or stretched so far that they do not tear off during said rotation.
  • the closure element is designed so that then the components can be discharged via their associated component outlet and then via the discharge opening.
  • the discharge device has a particularly low loss volume.
  • the loss volume is to be understood as meaning the amount of the components which can not be discharged from the discharge device and therefore remain unused in the discharge device.
  • the entire volume of a sealing plug received in the discharge position in a discharge port is part of the lost volume. Since in the inventive discharge no sealing plug are necessary, the loss volume is correspondingly smaller.
  • the storage chambers have in particular a hollow cylindrical inner contour, in each of which a piston is arranged, which is displaceable for discharging the component in the direction of component outlet and thus in the direction of a discharge.
  • the pistons can be moved in particular by hand.
  • corresponding markings or stops can be provided on the storage container or closure element.
  • a rotation of the storage container relative to the closure element of 90 ° may be necessary. But there are also other angles of rotation possible.
  • the reservoir can be rotated out of the closed position in both directions relative to the closure element. But it is also possible that only one twist in one direction is possible.
  • a reverse rotation can be provided so that after adjusting the discharge position, a rotation in the closed position is no longer possible. This can ensure that the discharge can be used only once.
  • the storage container and thus also the closure element may be made, for example, from cyclo-olefin copolymer (abbreviated COC) or polyoxymethylene (abbreviated POM).
  • COC cyclo-olefin copolymer
  • POM polyoxymethylene
  • the connecting webs then have, for example, a length of about 1 mm with a thickness of about 0.15 mm.
  • the other parts of the discharge for example, polypropylene (abbreviation PP) exist.
  • the discharge device can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, applications in the dental field or in the skin care sector are possible.
  • a cream for application to the skin can be mixed and discharged by means of the discharge device, in which additional components, such as, for example, vitamins, are mixed in just before the delivery of a base cream.
  • the first storage chamber is arranged in particular coaxially to the second storage chamber and encloses these at least partially.
  • the reservoir thus has in particular a mainly cylindrical basic shape. With a cylindrical outer contour of the closure element, this allows a particularly effective use of space.
  • the first, that is, the outer storage chamber in particular has two component outlets.
  • the two pantries can also be designed in a different way. They can for example be arranged parallel next to each other.
  • the outer part has in particular a mainly hollow-cylindrical basic shape and the closure web connects two opposite sides of the outer part.
  • the closure web has a different width, in particular over its length. It has, in particular, closure areas which correspond to the component outlets. So are designed so that they can wear the component outlets in the closed position. The said closure areas are then connected to each other, the connections being less wide. Since the component outlets usually have circular diameters, the corresponding closure areas also have a circular, slightly larger diameter.
  • closure element With said structure of the closure element with an outer part and a closure web, it is possible that for the production of the closure element comparatively little material is necessary, which allows a cost-effective production of the combination of closure element and reservoir. In addition, it is possible by this construction in a simple manner that the components in the discharge position from the component outlets can flow in the direction of the discharge opening.
  • the closure element is connected to a discharge element, which has the discharge opening, wherein the closure element is in particular rotationally fixedly connected to the discharge element.
  • the rotation of the reservoir relative to the closure element is usually carried out by hand. This means that the closure element must be held in place, so that a rotation of the reservoir can take place relative to the closure element. Due to the rotationally fixed connection to the discharge element, the closure element can be fixed via the discharge element. This allows easy handling of the discharge device.
  • the discharge device has a plug, which is designed so that it can be inserted into the discharge opening so that it is closed and which can serve as a handle for an applicator for discharging the components.
  • the applicator is designed, for example, as a brush, by means of which the mixed components can be removed via the discharge opening and applied to a desired location.
  • the discharge opening can be securely closed.
  • the dispensing element and the applicator are in particular designed such that the applicator is arranged within the dispensing element when the plug closes the dispensing opening.
  • the applicator can be arranged protected within the discharge element.
  • the discharge device has a mixer with a mixer housing and a mixing element, which is arranged so that the components are supplied to it after discharge from the component outlets.
  • the components are particularly well mixed before discharging from the discharge.
  • the mixer is designed in particular as a static mixer.
  • the mixer housing is designed as a part of the discharge element.
  • no separate mixer housing is necessary, which allows a particularly cost-effective production of the discharge.
  • the discharge on a discharge chamber and the mixer is disposed between the reservoir and the discharge chamber.
  • the two components can be pressed by the mixer into the discharge chamber, from which they can be removed by means of said applicator, so for example by means of a brush on the discharge. This allows on the one hand a good mixing and on the other hand a targeted removal of the mixed components.
  • the discharge still has a discharge chamber.
  • the components pressed into the discharge chamber can be mixed with the applicator, for example by shaking or by stirring, and then removed with the applicator.
  • the closure element has no special discharge chamber.
  • the mixer housing forms the discharge opening, so that the components are discharged via the discharge opening directly after mixing by the mixing element.
  • the closure element are completely and the reservoir partially disposed within the discharge element.
  • the storage element has, for example, one or more grooves into which corresponding projections of the discharge element engage in the assembled state of the discharge device.
  • the discharge element, the closure element and the storage container have, in particular at least in sections, circular outer contours.
  • the discharge device has an actuating element, which comprises a first and a second piston.
  • the first piston is slidably disposed in the first storage chamber and the second piston in the second storage chamber.
  • the actuator is partially disposed within the reservoir, resulting in a particularly compact design of the discharge.
  • the actuating element also has an at least partially circular outer contour.
  • a discharge device 10 for two flowable components has a storage container 11.
  • the storage container 11 has a first storage chamber 12 for a first flowable component and a second storage chamber 13 for a second flowable component.
  • the storage chambers 12, 13 each have a hollow cylindrical inner contour and are arranged coaxially with one another and parallel to a discharge direction 14.
  • the first storage chamber 12 completely encloses the second storage chamber 13.
  • the first storage chamber 12 has two first component outlets 15 oriented in the discharge direction 14, and the second storage chamber 13 has an equally oriented component outlet 16.
  • the component outlets 15 and 16 are in the Fig. 1 not shown.
  • the storage container 11 is produced in one piece with a closure element 17 by means of an injection molding process.
  • the reservoir 11 and the closure member 17 are over in the Fig. 1 not shown connecting webs 18 connected.
  • the storage container 11 can assume a closing position relative to the closure element 17, in which the component outlets 15, 16 are closed.
  • By rotating the reservoir 11 by 90 ° relative to the closure element 17 of the reservoir 11 is placed in a discharge position in which the component outlets 15, 16 are open and so the components of the Storage chambers 12, 13 can be discharged via the component outlets 15, 16.
  • On the mentioned closure position and the discharge position is in connection with the Fig. 2, 3rd and 4 discussed in more detail.
  • the storage chambers 12, 13 are closed against the discharge 14 by an actuating element 19, which also has a mainly cylindrical basic shape.
  • the actuating element 19 has an open, hollow cylindrical recess 20 in the discharge direction 14, which is arranged so that a likewise hollow cylindrical, the second storage chamber 13 delimiting boundary wall 21 is immersed therein.
  • a first piston 22 and a second piston 23 for the first and second storage chamber 12, 13 are formed.
  • the actuating element 19 protrudes out of the storage container 11 counter to the discharge direction 14, so that it can be displaced by hand in the discharge direction when the component outlets 15, 16 are open and the components can be pushed out of the storage chambers 12, 13 by means of the pistons 22, 23.
  • the reservoir 11 has seen in the discharge 14 a first portion 24 and a second portion 25, wherein both portions 24, 25 have a cylindrical basic shape and the first portion 24 seen in the discharge 14 is arranged in front of the second portion 25.
  • the first portion 24 has a slightly smaller diameter than the second portion 25 and is almost completely disposed within a discharge element 26, which also has a mainly cylindrical basic shape.
  • the closure element 17 adjoins the first portion 24 of the reservoir 11 and also has a mainly cylindrical basic shape with the same diameter as said first portion 24 of the reservoir 11.
  • the closure element 17 is non-rotatably connected to the discharge element 26, whereas the storage container 11 can be rotated relative to the discharge element 26 and thus also relative to the closure element 17. The twisting is usually done by hand.
  • the second section 25 of the reservoir 11 has not shown in detail, extending in the discharge 14 grooves.
  • the discharge element 26 has a static mixer 27, which is partially disposed within the closure element 17 and completely within the discharge element 26.
  • the mixer 27 has a mixing element 28 and a mixer housing 29.

In the narrow part of the funnel, the mixing element 28 is arranged, which is designed in one piece with the closure element 17. Due to the funnel shape of the mixer housing 29, the components discharged via the component outlets 15, 16 are led to the mixing element 28, so that the components are well mixed by the mixer 27.
  • the mixing element and the closure element can also be designed as separate components.
  • the mixer housing 29 opens in the discharge direction 14 into a cylindrical discharge chamber 30, which has a smaller diameter than the discharge element 26.

  • the plug 32 also serves as a handle for an applicator 33 in the form of a brush with a handle 34 and a brush head 35 with bristles 36.
  • the stem 34 is oriented in the discharge 14 and the applicator 33 is disposed completely within the discharge chamber 30 and thus within the discharge element 26.
  • the stem 34 of the applicator 33 is so long that the brush head 35 reaches in the inserted state almost to the mixer 27.
  • the discharged and mixed by the mixer 27 components in the discharge chamber 30 can be taken with the applicator 33 and removed via the discharge port 31 from the discharge device 10.
  • a mixer is arranged between the component outlets of the storage chambers and the discharge chamber. It is also possible that the two components arrive unmixed in the discharge chamber and there by shaking the particular be mixed closed dispensing device or by stirring with the applicator.
  • Fig. 2 a detail in the region of the component outlets 15 and 16 is shown in more detail, wherein the reservoir 11 is opposite the closure element 17 in the closed position.
  • the component outlet 16 of the second storage chamber 13 is not centered with respect to the storage chamber 13, but in the Fig. 2 arranged shifted to the left outside.
