Abstract

Zugleich wirkt die Hohlkammerplatte aufgrund der luftgefüllten Hohlkammern isolierend. Das mittels der Hohlkammerplatte gebildete Wandelement ist insofern nach Art eines Isolierelements gebildet, welches geeignet ist, den im Vergleich zur restlichen Wohnung häufig höher temperierten Sanitärraum wärmezudämmen. Insofern stellt die Modernisierung des Sanitärraums zugleich eine energetische Sanierung dar, die geeignet ist, den für das Heizen aufgewandten Energiebedarf zu senken. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Wandelement 1 umfasst als wesentliche Komponenten eine Trägerplatte 2 und eine flächig an einer Flachseite der Trägerplatte 2 vorgesehene Dekorschicht 3. Die Dekorschicht 3 ist hierbei exemplarisch nach Art einer Fliesenschicht 3 ausgebildet.A
