Description
In gravel tracks the gravel is subject to enrichment by fines, which are caused by the abrasion and the edge breakage of the loaded ballast in train operation. On the other hand, fines are caused by an increase of particles from the ground, by transporting e.g. of coal and ores, brought in by approach from the environment or by organic material.
If the mass fraction of fines (<12 mm) exceeds 30% of the total mass of the ballast, the ballast is cleaned, otherwise the drainage and thus the load bearing capacity of the substrate would no longer be guaranteed. Inadequate drainage means that any existing wooden sleepers are constantly in a moist environment and so quickly become rotten and lose their durability.
The cleaning of the ballast takes place with the help of track bed cleaning machines. For this purpose, the track grate is raised below the machine and below a chain guide, a chain guide bar, installed, in which the circulating cleaning chain is guided. The chain comprises scraper blades which are hinged together via intermediate links. The clearing blades with the pontics slide in chain guides on exchangeable wear plates. The chain is usually driven hydraulically via a so-called Turas drive. The ballast is excavated from the ballast bed with the aid of the clearing blades, transported upwards into the track bed cleaning machines and falls onto a conveyor belt which pours the contaminated material onto a multi-layer vibrating screen. The fine material is separated from oversize (> 80mm), transported to entrained loading trolleys and stored there until it is disposed of. The cleaned gravel is returned to the excavation site and reinstalled behind the excavation chain.
Each bucket can be fitted with interchangeable scraper fingers made of hardened forgings that can be fitted with carbide tips. The individual chain links are subject to high wear during operation. In particular, the earth-pointing blade bottom side and the material-promoting blade working surface, the blade root and the intermediate links sliding in the guide wear very heavily. The connecting bolts also wear out and the holes receiving them widen. The blade work surfaces, so the attack surface of the Räumschaufeln, in particular the gravel facing outer parts are also subject to very high wear.
Over a tolerable level worn surfaces are job-welded with filling electrodes, at least the top layer is designed as a tank weld. Since high-strength cast materials are used as blade material and these are highly sensitive to heat, it is necessary to cool the chain link to be repaired during the welding process in a water bath. The build-up welding takes place with appropriate cooling pauses between the individual welded-on layers. This work is very time consuming and associated with very high personnel and material costs for the special welding electrodes. In addition, the repair welds can only be performed in a dedicated workshop and not on the construction site. Drilled holes are either welded out and then re-drilled to the original diameter or drilled and hardened. Worn connection bolts and scratch fingers are replaced depending on the wear condition. The upper area of the worn-off reamer blades is also contracted and then armored.
The invention is therefore based on the object to avoid costly order and armored welding largely, with a repair on the site should be quickly and easily possible, so as to extend the useful life of the chain. The downtime of the track bed cleaning machine associated with a chain change to be reduced with the invention.
The invention solves this problem by the fact that the blade main working surfaces, which are particularly exposed to wear, are equipped with replaceable wear plates.
Due to the fact that the blade main working surfaces, which are exposed in particular to the wear on the ballast bed to be cleared, are equipped with exchangeable wear plates, it is possible to rapidly change the wear plates at a construction site if the wear exceeds a permissible extent. The clearing chains can already be factory-fitted with the sliding plates according to the invention or, after wear has been carried out and post-processing carried out by milling away the worn surface, provided with the wear plates according to the invention. Costly order and armored welding can thus be largely avoided and a repair at a construction site is quickly possible at any time. In addition, the service life of the chain can be considerably extended by this measure. Particularly exposed to the wear is the blade main working surface, so that area that receives the material to be removed and promotes from the track bed. In particular, the wear is subject to the front blade area in the region of the blade tip. This is the area that digs into the ballast bed during excavation. It will usually be sufficient to equip around a quarter to half of the bucket main working surface with a replaceable wear plate.
The clearing chain slides at least in the track bed in a guide rail, which can be equipped in particular with wear plates. The sliding surfaces of the chain links on the chain guide are also subject to massive wear due to the mineral rock to be removed, which is equipped with considerable fine dust content. Therefore, according to the invention, the chain links assigned to this chain guide and sliding on these side surfaces of the chain links are preferably also equipped with replaceable wear plates. These limb surfaces are in particular those surfaces which slide directly in the guide on corresponding slide rails and subject to wear. The secondary surfaces subject to this wear, in particular, are the bottom-side limb surfaces which also slide along the ground.
Particularly stable conditions arise when the main working surfaces and the minor surfaces associated wear plates connected to each other, in particular welded or integrally formed. Thus, a removal of the blade can be avoided even in the transition region between the wear plates.
In order to ensure a particularly secure and firm hold of the wear plates on the blade, it is recommended that the blade main working surfaces have recordings for the wear plates. This can in particular be cutouts in the surface to be equipped, in which the wear plates are used. Said wear plates are screwed to the associated Räumschaufeln preferably by means of screws or riveted by riveting. In order to ensure easy handling of the wear plates and to avoid excessive removal of screw elements, which are optionally provided in the area of the blade main working surface, it is advisable to weld the bolts of the screws on the blade main working surfaces facing away from the back surfaces of the wear plates, in particular press-welded, thus ensuring that the screw elements are not subject to direct abrasion.
In addition and as an alternative to this, the wear plates for attachment can have, in particular, at the edge edge at least one, preferably slot-like, aperture through which the wear plates are welded to the clearing blades. The wear plates are attached to the connection to the blade at the intended location and welded via the openings with the Räumschaufeln. To detach the wear plates only this weld must od by a short incision with a grinding wheel. Like. Be solved. Additionally or alternatively, the wear plates may be welded to the front side with the blades. This is understood to mean a weld seam between the blade and the welding plate in the region of the blade edge.
Stahlplatten aus Hardox 500, 550 oder 600.As well as the clearing blades, it is recommended to weld the wear plates of the intermediate links in particular two perforations filled with weld metal with the intermediate links. Optionally, the wear plates of the intermediate links may additionally or alternatively also be welded to the intermediate links via weld seams provided on the intermediate link side surface, between the link axes. The material used for the wear plates is coated with suitable hard material coated steel plates or steel plates made of Hardox 500, 550 or 600.

The Räumschaufel- and also the Verbindungsgliedernbenflächen N slide in the
By these measures, the service life of the blade and intermediate member body is greatly increased and the maintenance costs are significantly reduced.
