Description

The present invention relates generally to a vacuum cleaner nozzle intended to be mounted on a vacuum cleaner.

Un autre exemple de suceur d'aspirateur selon le préambule de la revendication est décrit dans le document DE 21 00 465 A1 .Vacuum cleaner squeegees are known in the prior art, and in particular vacuum cleaner squeegees equipped with strips of gripping fabric called wire pullers, positioned on a suction and scraping surface, as presented in the document. EP 1,210,898 B1 . This system has in particular the drawback of having limited effectiveness, since the wires trapped by the wire puller can remain on the latter and saturate it. The wires can simply remain trapped on the wire puller without being vacuumed. In addition, it can be noted that the manufacturing constraints must take into account the positioning of the wire puller in a female imprint of the sole, which imposes costly adjustments. Another example of a vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the preamble of the claim is described in the document.

An object of the present invention is to respond to the drawbacks of the document of the prior art mentioned above and in particular to provide a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a wire puller, which has good cleaning efficiency.

For this, a first aspect of the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising:
  • a suction and scraping surface,
  • a suction slot, arranged to be connected to a suction circuit of the vacuum cleaner and opening onto the suction and scraping surface,
  • at least one wire puller arranged on the suction and scraping surface, next to the suction slot,
characterized in that the wire puller comprises a part which opens into the suction slot. The squeegee according to the invention offers good suction efficiency because the wire puller extends up to the suction slot and opens out directly into it. Consequently, a wire trapped by the wire puller will be guided without interruption or discontinuity to the suction slot to be sucked there. In other words, there are no obstacles between the wire puller and the suction slot.

According to one embodiment, the wire puller has a first portion arranged on the suction and scraping surface, and a second portion which extends, in continuity with the first portion, in the suction slot. The second portion which extends into the suction slot further improves the guiding towards the suction circuit of the wires trapped by the wire puller.

According to one embodiment, the squeegee comprises two wire pullers, each arranged on either side of the suction slot in a cleaning direction.

According to one embodiment, the second portion extends along a wall of the suction slot. Integration is optimal with the second portion which forms part of the wall of the suction slot, and is flush with it.

According to one embodiment, the squeegee comprises a squeegee body, and the wire puller is supported by an insert relative to the squeegee body. The manufacturing is facilitated with an attached part which makes it possible to choose a suitable material for fixing the wire puller, without having to adopt this material for the whole body of the nozzle.

According to one embodiment, the wire puller is overmolded on the insert.

According to one embodiment, the first portion and the second portion each belong to inclined planes with an angle less than or equal to 90 degrees. This implementation offers an interesting alternative to bonding, by overcoming the delamination constraints of an adhesive joint which are present with such a complex geometry.

According to one embodiment, the wire puller is glued to the insert.

According to one embodiment, the insert is glued to the squeegee body.

According to one embodiment, the wire puller extends to a front or rear face of the nozzle. The guiding of the trapped wires is optimal, and the manufacturing is simplified, because the sole does not have an imprint in which to position the wire puller, since the latter opens onto the outer face and into the suction slot.

A second aspect of the invention is a vacuum cleaner comprising at least one vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the first aspect of the invention.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising:
  • a sole with a suction and scraping surface,
  • a suction slot, arranged to be connected to a suction circuit of the vacuum cleaner and opening onto the suction and scraping surface,
  • at least one wire puller arranged on the suction and scraping surface, next to the suction slot,
characterized in that the wire puller has at least a first portion in a first plane and at least a second portion in a second plane inclined relative to the first plane, and in that the wire puller is molded onto a workpiece reported to the squeegee.

  • la figure 1 représente une vue isométrique d'un suceur d'aspirateur en coupe ;
  • la figure 2 représente une vue isométrique du corps du suceur de la figure 1 ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear more clearly on reading the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention given by way of non-limiting example and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which:
  • the figure 1 shows an isometric view of a vacuum cleaner nozzle in section;
  • the figure 2 represents an isometric view of the body of the squeegee of the figure 1 ;
  • the figure 3 represents an isometric view of a thread extractor from the squeegee of the figure 1 .

In the present application, the terms "vacuum cleaner nozzle" can designate several types of nozzle, but the invention relates in particular to those which are intended to provide for cleaning carpets, fabrics, cushions, carpets or textiles, and retain elongated foreign bodies such as fibers, threads, hair that are present there. This may include, without limitation, a wide nozzle with a retractable brush to adapt to hard floors or carpets, a narrow or flat nozzle to exclusively clean cushions, curtains, carpets or any other textile surface or fibrous.

La figure 1 représente un vue en coupe d'un suceur 10 selon l'invention, sur un sol à nettoyer 100.The figure 1 shows a sectional view of a nozzle 10 according to the invention, on a floor to be cleaned 100.

The nozzle 10 comprises a body 11 of the nozzle 10 produced for example by plastic injection molding. The body 11 of the nozzle 10 comprises a sleeve 12 for connection to a suction circuit of a vacuum cleaner, and the sleeve 12 communicates with a suction slot 15 formed in a sole of the nozzle 10. The sole of the nozzle 10 has a suction and scraping surface which in the present case is essentially formed by first portions 21a and 22a of two wire pullers 21 and 22 respectively, and it is this suction and scraping surface which is preferably in contact with the floor to be cleaned 100.

It should be noted that in the present case the suction and scraping surface is formed essentially by the first portions 21a and 22a of the wire strippers 21 and 22 respectively and has a planar shape, but in general, the surface suction is not necessarily flat and is not exclusively formed by the wire pullers 21 and 22.

The wire pullers 21 and 22 also each have a second portion 21b and 22b respectively which extends in the suction slot 15. In other words, the wire pullers 21 and 22 start from an outer face or face leading and extend into the suction slot 15. Consequently, there is no discontinuity in the wire puller 21 or 22 from the leading face to the suction slot, and the threads, fibers or bristles trapped by the thread pullers 21 or 22 during cleaning will therefore be guided without obstacle to the suction slot 15 where they will be sucked.

The figure 2 represents the body 11 of the nozzle 10 of the figure 1 . In order to facilitate manufacture, the wire pullers 21 and 22 (not visible on this figure 2 ) are attachments. Indeed, the complex shapes of the wire pullers with the first portions 21a or 22a, which are oriented at a non-negligible angle (an angle between 30 ° and 150 ° for example) relative to the second portions 21b or 22b respectively, make it advantageous to make sub-assemblies.

On peut utiliser pour la pièce rapportée du polypropylène (PP) ou de l'acrylonitrile butadiène styrène (ABS).Indeed, the assemblies can be made by gluing for example, and because of the aforementioned angle and delamination constraints, it may be advantageous to choose specific materials. In this case, it is advantageous to limit the use of these specific materials to the bonding zones and an insert in this material makes it possible to avoid making the nozzle 10 complete with this material. Polypropylene (PP) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) can be used for the insert.

Alternatively, the wire puller can be overmolded. In this case, the constraints of bonding are overcome, and it is also advantageous to overmold the wire puller 21, 22 on the insert, to limit the size of the overmolding mold.

The figure 2 represents the squeegee 10 without the wire pullers 21 and 22, and on each side of the suction slot 15 are locations 13 and 14 on which will be attached by gluing or clipping the wire pullers 21 and 22 respectively and their inserts.

The figure 3 represents the wire puller 22, and the first portion 22a forms with the second portion 22b an angle less than 90 degrees. In this case, it is advantageous to overmold the wire puller 22 on its insert to avoid takeoffs due to the acute angle.

It will be understood that various modifications and / or improvements evident to those skilled in the art can be made to the various embodiments of the invention described in the present description without departing from the scope of the invention defined by the appended claims.
