Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Feder mit Auflageteller gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
- Derartige Federn bilden eine Grundkomponente für Polster oder Matratzen, die wiederum in unterschiedlichsten Bereichen Verwendung finden.
- Bei dem bekannten Federkern, namentlich dem Bonnell-Federkern, dessen Einzelfedern tailliert schraubenförmig gewunden sind, liegen die Federreihen unmittelbar benachbart aneinander, so dass mit jeweils einem Drahtwendel die Einzelfedern zweier benachbarter Federreihen miteinander verbunden werden. D.h., die Einzelfedern benachbarter Reihen ebenso wie die Einzelfedern einer Reihe liegen mit ihren Endringen relativ eng beieinander, vor allem auch, um eine entsprechende Auflagefläche zu schaffen.
- Naturgemäß ist eine solche Konstruktion nur mit einem entsprechend hohen Materialeinsatz realisierbar, der die Herstellungskosten eines Federkerns ungünstig beeinflusst und einer stets geforderten Kostenoptimierung entgegensteht.
- Überdies ist die Verwendung eines solchen Federkerns insofern problematisch, als dessen Verstellen, d.h. der fertigen Matratze im Sinne eines bereichsweisen Knickens entlang einer Federreihe, wenn überhaupt, dann nur eingeschränkt möglich ist.
- In der
US 1 887 058 A ebenso wie in derUS 1 897 309 A sind jeweils Einzelfedern bzw. ist jeweils ein Federkern mit solchen Einzelfedern offenbart, bei denen die Endringe eckig konturiert ausgebildet sind, wobei an diese Endringe Drahtwendel angeschlossen sind, mittels derer jeweils Federreihen gebildet sind. - Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Einzelfeder der gattungsgemäßen Art so weiterzuentwickeln, dass sie kostengünstiger herstellbar ist und ihre Verwendbarkeit verbessert wird.
- Diese Aufgabe wird durch Anspruch 1 gelöst.
- Ein Federkern könnte so gestaltet sein, dass der Anteil an Einzelfedern in nennenswertem Maße reduziert werden kann. Wie sich gezeigt hat, kann die Materialeinsparung mehr als 15 % betragen, was sich naturgemäß in niedrigeren Fertigungskosten niederschlägt.
- Ein Federkern mit einer Vielzahl von Einzelfedern, bei denen an die kreisbogenförmigen Endringe ein im Wesentlichen G-förmiger Ausleger angeformt ist, ist dadurch gebildet, dass an dem jeweiligen Ausleger ein Drahtwendel angeschlossen ist, so dass sich eine Federreihe ergibt, die letztlich zu einem kompletten Federkern zusammengestellt wird.
- Bei der erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagenen Ausbildung, nach der die Einzelfedern an ihren Endringen jeweils einen angeformten Ausleger aufweisen, wird der Abstand zwischen den Einzelfedern entsprechend vergrößert, wobei dieser Abstand bestimmt wird vom gewünschten Federungskomfort und der Form des Auslegers, der mit dem Drahtwendel verbunden ist.
- Nach der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, die Endringe jeder Einzelfeder im Sinne eines Auslegers zu formen, der über den kreisförmigen Verlauf des Endringes vorsteht und mit dem die Einzelfeder am Drahtwendel angeschlossen ist. Dabei ist dieser Ausleger so gestaltet, dass er gleichfalls ein Auflager bildet.
- Entsprechend dem Abstand des Auflagers vom gewundenen Endring vergrößert sich der Abstand zwischen den parallelen Drahtwendeln, der die Breite der jeweiligen Federreihe bestimmt. Auch diese Maßnahme trägt erheblich zu einer Materialeinsparung und damit zur Kostensenkung bei.
- Die Ausleger der Einzelfedern sind erfindungsgemäß so gestaltet, dass, vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff bestehende Auflageteller eingesetzt werden, die formschlüssig gehalten sind und die neben einer Auflagefunktion auch einen Schutz des nachfolgend aufgebrachten Bezugsstoffs vor scharfen Spitzen oder Kanten des verformten Auslegers bildet.
- Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen gekennzeichnet.
- Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand der beigefügten Zeichnungen beschrieben.

- In der
Figur 1 ist ein Federkern des Standes der Technik dargestellt, mit einer Vielzahl von, jeweils aus mehreren, beidseitig zu Endringen 5 geformten Einzelfedern 2 bestehenden, parallel zueinander verlaufenden Federreihen 1, wobei die Einzelfedern 2 jeder Federreihe 1 durch an den Endringen 5 angeschlossene Drahtwendel 4 miteinander verbunden sind. Dabei sind die Federreihen 1 quer zur Längserstreckung des Federkerns angeordnet. - Entsprechend einer Alternative sind bei dem in
Figur 1 gezeigten Beispiel zwischen den Federreihen 1 Flachfedern 3 angeordnet, die jeweils aus einem mäanderförmig gebogenen Draht bestehen und sich über die gesamte Länge der Federreihe 1 erstrecken. - Die Befestigung der Flachfedern erfolgt hierbei durch Verbinden mit den beidseitig benachbarten Drahtwendeln 4, wobei beidseitig, also an den die Ober-und Unterseite des Federkerns bildenden Seiten Flachfedern 3 vorgesehen sind. Bevorzugt sind die Flachfedern 3 in ihrer Breite entsprechend dem Durchmesser der Endringe 5 der Einzelfedern 2 dimensioniert.
- Bei reiner Ausführung ist jede Flachfeder 3, die ebenfalls aus Draht gebogen ist, etwa kreuzförmig geformt und mit ihren Enden des sozusagen Querbalkens an den zugeordneten Einzelfedern 2 angeschlossen, während der Längsbalken mit einem Ende am zugeordneten Drahtwendel 4 befestigt und das gegenüberliegende Ende als ein nach außen gerichteter Bogen geformt ist. Damit verbindet die Flachfeder 3 die beiden benachbarten Einzelfedern 2 einerseits und füllt einen Zwischenraum zwischen beiden Einzelfedern 2 aus.
- In einem Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Flachfeder 3 im weitesten Sinne nach Art eines Ω ausgebildet, wobei die beiden Enden an den Endringen 5 der benachbarten Einzelfedern 2 angreifen bzw. dort eingehängt sind, während die unteren Schenkel der Flachfeder 3 mit dem Drahtwendel 4 verbunden sind.
- Die Einzelfedern 2, von denen eine Ausführungsvariante in der
Figur 2 als Einzelheit erkennbar ist, sind im Bereich ihrer Endringe 5 als Ausleger 6 geformt, die im Wesentlichen eine G-förmige oder eine spiegelbildlich dazu verlaufende Kontur aufweisen, wobei beide Ausleger 6, wie inFigur 2 deutlich ist, gegensinnig ausgerichtet sind. - Das jeweils freie Ende des Auslegers 6 ist bei dem in
Figur 2 gezeigten Beispiel als Haken 7 ausgebildet, in dem formschlüssig ein Auflageteller 8 gehalten ist, wobei zur Verdeutlichung lediglich der obere Ausleger 6 mit einem Auflageteller 8 bestückt ist, während der untere Ausleger 6 den Haken 7 ohne Auflageteller 8 wiedergibt.
Claims (2)
- Schraubenförmig gewundene Einzelfeder mit Auflagetellern (8), insbesondere Bonnell-Feder, deren Windung beidseitig in einen kreisförmigen Endring (5) übergeht, der ein Auflager bildet, wobei an den jeweiligen kreisförmig verlaufenden Endring (5) ein Ausleger (6) angeformt ist, der über den kreisförmigen Verlauf des jeweiligen Endringes vorsteht und wobei die Einzelfeder mit dem Ausleger (6) an einen Drahtwendel anschließbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Ausleger (6) so gestaltet ist, dass er gleichfalls ein Auflager bildet, und dass die Ausleger (6) der Einzelfedern so gestaltet sind, dass an ihnen die Auflageteller (8) formschlüssig gehalten sind.
- Einzelfeder nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausleger (6) der beiden Endringe (5) gegensinnig ausgerichtet sind.
