Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a drainage channel according to the preamble of claim 1, a drainage device with such a drainage channel and an arrangement of such a drainage device adjacent to a wall at least partially in a floor of a room.
  • Drainage devices that have a drainage opening in the area of the lower edge of the wall are also called wall drains. Such wall drains are mostly fully or partially integrated into the wall. The positioning of a drain device in the floor in front of the wall while maintaining a wall-side drain opening is still seldom used due to technical challenges.
  • a gutter and a drain device of the type mentioned are from the DE 20 2005 019 964 U1 known.
  • the drainage channel described therein is elongated and has a width of about 4 cm.
  • a vertical longitudinal leg of this gutter can be arranged on a wall, for example.
  • a vertical leg arranged on the opposite side of the drainage channel and serving as a side wall is recessed in a central region of the drainage channel, so that the water can escape laterally in this area.
  • a drainage channel and a drainage device are also known.
  • the gutter described in this document is comparatively low and narrow, so that it can be placed under the lowest wall tile. This results in an inlet opening in the floor between the wall tile and the floor tile arranged adjacent to it.
  • the drainage channel also has a section in which the side wall is recessed on the side facing away from the wall, so that the water can emerge from the side of the channel.
  • a drainage channel is provided which comprises a vertical leg on the wall and a side wall.
  • the side wall has an extensive horizontal offset, which serves as a support surface for floor tiles.
  • the problem on which the present invention is based is the creation of a drainage channel and a drainage device of the type mentioned at the outset, which ensure low installation effort and / or an appealing exterior. Furthermore, an arrangement of the drain device adjacent to a wall mentioned at the beginning is to be specified at least partially in a floor of a room.
  • the height of the vertical leg from its upper end in the installed position to the underside of the channel bottom is less than 5 cm
  • that the depth of the drain channel from the end of the vertical leg facing away from the channel bottom to the vertical leg opposite end of the side wall is less than 3 cm
  • that the side wall in the installed position has a height which is less than the height of the vertical leg.
  • the drainage channel can be arranged in the room under the lowest wall tile and / or on the wall side of the floor tiles.
  • the gutter has both a height and a depth that correspond to the usual tile thicknesses in the sanitary area. In this way, there is a visually appealing impression of the drain device provided with such a drainage channel.
  • the drainage channel is suitable for being mounted on the screed or on sealant on the screed.
  • the sealants on the screed can be a composite seal, for example. This composite seal can be applied before a tiler places the drainage channel and the floor and wall tiles are applied. In this way, the assembly work influencing the visual impression of the drain device is carried out together with the tiling work, which ensures an appealing result.
  • the drainage channel can be installed after Completion of the sealing of the screed and the wall so that little or no sealing work has to be carried out with this installation. This simplifies the assembly of the drain device.
  • the drainage channel has a connecting section which, when installed, can be arranged on the screed or on sealants on the screed and under a floor tile.
  • This connecting section can, for example, have at least one opening through which tile adhesive can pass.
  • the connecting section can ensure a stable installation of the drainage channel.
  • the section in which the water can exit laterally from the channel bottom can be a central section of the drain channel. Due to the possibility of the water escaping laterally from the drainage channel, the drainage into an outlet arranged in the screed can also be achieved when the drainage channel is placed on the composite seal.
  • the underside of the channel bottom is arranged at the same level as the underside of the connecting section. In this way, the water can flow from the gutter floor out of the gutter approximately at the level of the floor tiles.
  • the channel floor has a gradient in the longitudinal direction of the drainage channel, in particular in one or two outer sections, a gradient in the longitudinal direction to a central section. In this way, it is ensured that the water reaches the region of the channel from which it can emerge laterally, for example.
  • Claim 8 provides for the use of a drainage channel according to the invention in a drainage device according to the invention.
  • the drain device comprises a cover which, in the installed state, has a bevel on the wall, under which, in the installed position, water can flow from the drain gutter to a water inlet opening. In this way, the water flowing laterally out of the drainage channel can safely get into a water inlet opening of a drain housing pre-assembled in the screed.
  • Claim 10 provides that a drain opening is arranged in the wall between the underside of at least one wall tile and the floor level, which is designed in particular as a narrow gap between the cover and the underside of at least one wall tile. This measure results in an appealing appearance of the arrangement.
  • the drainage channel is preferably arranged at least partially below the underside of at least one lowermost wall tile and / or at least partially between the wall-side end of at least one floor tile and the wall, in particular on the screed or on sealing means on the screed. With this arrangement, the drainage channel appears optically and is hardly visible to the user. The result is a very attractive appearance.
  • a drain housing 1 which has a Drain connector 2 can be connected to an on-site drain pipe (not shown).
  • the drain housing 1 has on its upper side a water inlet opening 3 with a receiving part 4 surrounding this water inlet opening 3.
  • the receiving part 4 is fixed to the drain housing 1, for example glued. There is a possibility that the drain housing 1 and the receiving part 4 are formed in one piece, so that the receiving part 4 is designed as part of the drain housing 1. In this case, the drain housing 1 can have, for example, a support shoulder surrounding the water inlet opening 3.
  • the upper end of the drain housing 1 and the receiving part 4 is surrounded by an inlet collar 5 (see Fig. 1 ).
  • the inlet collar 5 is an essentially flat part with a rectangular outline.
  • Four support feet 6 are attached to the underside of the inlet collar 5 and are particularly height-adjustable.
  • grids 7 projecting outward from this are connected to the inlet collar 5 and surround the inlet collar 5 all around.
  • the grids 7 serve to better anchor the drain device in a floor structure, it being possible for an inclination of the floor tiles to be predetermined by an inclination of the grilles 7.
  • the inlet collar 5 and the grille 7 are in the screed 8 (see 2 to 4 ).
  • the drainage device further comprises a drainage channel 9 according to the invention, through which the water can get into the water inlet opening 3.
  • the drainage channel 9 is open in the area of the water inlet opening 3 upwards and to the side facing away from the wall (see Fig. 4 ).
  • the drainage channel 9 has an essentially L-shaped cross section in this area, with a vertical leg 9a in the installed state, which projects upwards into the wall structure 10 or ends under the bottom wall tile 16, and a horizontal one serving as a channel floor 9b Leg in the area of the water inlet opening 3.
  • the drainage channel 9 is designed differently outside the area of the water inlet opening 3. There, on the side opposite the vertical leg 9a, it has a side wall 9c which extends upward in a four-part circle shape from the channel bottom 9b and a horizontal connecting section 9d which extends under the floor tiles 20 (see Fig. 3a and Fig. 10 ).
  • the side wall 9c which extends upward in a four-part circle, can prevent water from running out of the gutter 9 on the tile side.
  • the horizontal connecting section 9d extending under the floor tiles 20 serves to fix the drainage channel 9.
  • the gutter 9 is integrated into the wall structure 10 in the exemplary embodiment shown.
  • the wall structure in the illustrated embodiment includes from left to right in 2 and 3 or from the inside to the outside, the brick wall 11, a plaster 12 applied thereon, a decoupling strip 13, a plurality of sealing tapes 14, a tile adhesive 15 and wall tiles 16 applied thereon.
  • the drainage channel 9 lies in with 2 to 4 on the left-hand side or with its side facing the wall on the sealing tapes 14, the vertical leg 9a of the drainage channel 9 projecting upward behind the bottom wall tile 16 and being surrounded by two of the sealing tapes 14.
  • the vertical leg 9a can end below the lowermost wall tile 16.
  • the horizontal leg of the gutter 9 serving as the gutter bottom 9b is arranged below the lowermost wall tile 16, so that the gutter 9 does not protrude beyond the wall tile 16 into the room.
  • a tile end strip 17 is arranged below the bottom wall tile 16.
  • a drain opening 18 is formed between the underside of the tile end strip 17 or between the underside of the lowermost wall tile 16 and the horizontal leg serving as the groove bottom 9b, through which water can flow into the drainage channel 9 integrated into the wall structure 10.
  • a cover 19 is arranged, the top of which is in the illustrated embodiment at the same height as the top of the floor tiles 20. Accordingly, the water to be discharged can reach the drainage channel 9 from the floor tiles 20 via the cover 19 through the drain opening 18.
  • The is aligned with the 2 to 4 left or wall side of the cover 19 essentially with that in the 2 to 4 right or wall side of the wall tiles 16. This results in a drain opening 18, which is arranged as a narrow gap in the wall at its lower end (see for example Fig. 2a and Fig. 4 ).
  • the one facing the wall or the one in 2 to 4 left side of the cover 19 is chamfered so that in the Drainage channel 9 can pass water under the bevel 31 of the cover 19 to the water inlet opening 3.
  • the cover 19 can rest loosely on parts of the drain device or the floor, so that it can be removed upwards.
  • the cover 19 is formed by a circumferential frame 21 into which an insert 22 can be inserted.
  • the insert 22 can consist of the same material as the floor tiles. But it can also be provided to design the cover differently, for example as a one-piece part made of metal.
  • the drain device further comprises a receiving frame 24 provided with an opening 23, which is inserted into a recess in the receiving part 4 in the installed state.
  • the receiving frame has an upper, circumferential collar 25 and a circumferential surface 26 which extends from the latter when installed (see Fig. 8 ).
  • a circumferential seal 27 is arranged on the inside of the receiving part 4, which seals the receiving frame 24 against the receiving part 4.
  • the seal 27 can be designed as a fixed or loose seal.
  • the receiving frame 24 can have a circumferential seal, not shown. This could be arranged on the underside of the collar 25 or on the outside of the surface 26. Alternatively, the receiving frame 24 can be glued into the receiving part 4. For this purpose, adhesive can be applied to the underside of the circumferential collar 25 and / or circumferentially to the vertical surface 26.
  • the drain device further comprises an odor trap 28, which is held with its upper edge in the installed state in the opening 23 of the receiving frame 24, the remaining sections of the odor trap 28 projecting downward through the receiving frame 24.
  • the receiving frame 24 has circumferential shoulders 32 which protrude into the opening 23 and a web 33 which runs transversely in the middle (see Fig. 7 ).
  • the odor trap 28 has an incision 34 (see Fig. 1 ), in which the web 33 can engage.
  • the opening 23 of the receiving frame 24 is elongated oval and delimited by lateral longitudinal sections 29, 30 (see for example Fig. 1 and Fig. 5 ).
  • the opening 23 is preferably not arranged symmetrically in the receiving frame 24 (see Fig. 1 ). It can be seen that the first longitudinal section 29 has a greater width than the second longitudinal section 30 (see also 7 and 8 ).
  • Fig. 2a shows the first position of the receiving frame 24, in which the first, wider longitudinal section 29 is arranged on the side facing away from the wall and the second, narrower longitudinal section 30 on the wall side. In this first position, the opening 23 is thus comparatively close to the wall.
  • the second position shown is the second, narrower longitudinal section 30 on the side facing away from the wall and the first, wider longitudinal section 29 on the wall side. In this second position, the opening 23 is thus comparatively far from the wall.
  • a thinner wall tile is shown than in the installation situation Fig. 3a .
  • the longitudinal sections 29, 30 of different widths and the different positions of the receiving frame 24 ensure that the distance b 1 , b 2 between the wall-side boundary of the opening 23 and that in FIGS 2 to 4 the right or wall side of the wall tiles 16 in both cases is large enough to remove the odor trap 28 after removing the cover 19 upwards.
  • These receiving frames 24, 24 ' differ in the different widths of both the first longitudinal sections 29, 29' and the second longitudinal sections 30, 30 '.
  • the in Fig. 7 the left receiving frame 24 has the widest longitudinal section with the first longitudinal section 29, which can accordingly ensure a position of the opening 23 that is very far from the wall.
  • the in Fig. 7 right receiving frame 24 ' has a slightly less wide first longitudinal section 29', which can ensure a slightly less spaced position of the opening 23 'from the wall.
  • the in Fig. 7 right receiving frame 24 'furthermore has an only slightly narrower second longitudinal section 30' which has a position of opening 23 'which is somewhat closer to the wall can guarantee.
  • the in Fig. 7 Left receiving frame 24 also has the narrowest longitudinal section with the second longitudinal section 30, which accordingly can ensure a position of the opening 23 arranged very close to the wall.
  • the user is given the opportunity to adapt the distance a 1 , a 2 of the opening 23, 23' or the odor trap 28 from the wall even better to the local conditions.
  • a drain device is installed in that, in a first method step, the drain housing 1 is mounted on the bare floor before the screed is applied and is connected to a drain pipe. The screed is then applied to the bare floor, so that the inlet collar and the grids are at least partially surrounded by the screed. Then the entire floor and wall area including the already installed drain parts are sealed.
  • the gutter 9 is mounted adjacent to the plastered wall, in particular together with sealing strips 14. Then the wall tiles 16 are applied, whereby the vertical leg 9a of the drainage channel 9 can be covered if necessary.
  • the receiving frame 24 is used in such a way that the wall-side end of the odor trap 28 to be inserted into the receiving frame 24 is at a sufficient distance b 1 , b 2 from the outside of the wall tile 16 in the horizontal direction so that it can still be removed upwards.
  • a suitable one is made from a plurality of receiving frames 24, 24 ' Picking frame 24, 24 'selected, which ensures that the odor trap 28 can be removed in the suitable position.
  • the receiving frame 24, 24 ' is glued in the receiving part 4 or the top of the casserole housing 1 or fastened via seals 27.
  • the odor trap 28 is inserted and the cover 19 is placed loosely on the top of the odor trap 28.
  • the floor tiles 20 can then be worked on the cover 19 in a suitable manner.
  • This design ensures that the odor trap 28 can be removed and cleaned at any time after the cover 19 has been removed, despite the fact that the drain device is installed very close to the wall.
  • Fig. 9 shows the drain device in the installed state.
  • a drainage channel 9 according to the invention, the cover 19, the slit-shaped drain opening 18 as well as the wall tiles 16 and the floor tiles can be seen.
  • the cover is arranged only in the central region of the drainage channel 9.
  • FIGS. 10 and 15 show that the illustrated embodiment of a drainage channel 9 according to the invention is divided into three sections 35, 36, 37 in the longitudinal direction.
  • the middle section 36 is located in the area of the water inlet opening 3
  • the outer sections 35, 37 are arranged outside the area of the water inlet opening 3 or the cover 19.
  • the drainage channel 9 has an essentially L-shaped cross section, with the vertical leg 9a in the installed state, which projects upwards into the wall structure 10 or ends under the lowermost wall tile 16, and one serving as a groove bottom 9b horizontal leg.
  • the water can therefore exit the drainage channel 9 directly horizontally to the side, because no side wall 9c opposite the vertical leg 9a is provided in the middle area 36.
  • the side wall 9c provided in the two outer sections 35, 37 and formed by the section extending upward in a quarter circle is thus cut out or omitted (see Fig. 10 and Fig. 17 ). Furthermore, the horizontal connecting section 9d extending under the floor tiles 20 is also omitted in the middle section 36.
  • the connecting section 9d provided in the outer sections 35, 37 has openings 38 through which tile adhesive can pass in order to fasten the drainage channel 9 on the top of the screed or sealing layers arranged thereon.
  • the channel bottom 9b has a slope in the two outer sections 35, 37 in the longitudinal direction towards the middle section 36.
  • Fig. 16 shows that the illustrated embodiment of the gutter 9 consists of two interconnected parts 39, 40.
  • the first part 39 comprises two in Fig. 16 outer sections of the vertical leg 9a, which merge into one another at the top by folding, as well as an upper section of the channel bottom 9b and the side wall 9c.
  • the second part 40 comprises an in Fig. 16 inner section of the vertical leg 9a, a lower section of the channel bottom 9b and the connecting section 9d.
  • the section of the vertical leg 9a associated with the second part 40 extends between the two sections of the vertical leg 9a belonging to the first part 39 (see Fig. 16 ).
  • the design of the gutter 9 from the two parts 39, 40 described offers manufacturing advantages because the two parts 39, 40 are manufactured separately from one another and can be assembled comparatively easily to form the gutter 9.
  • the 11 to 14 show an embodiment of a simpler drain device in which the odor trap 28 cannot be installed in two different positions. Furthermore, the vertical leg 9a of the drainage channel 9 does not protrude behind the lowermost wall tile 16 into the structure of the sealing tapes, but ends under the lowermost wall tile 16.
  • 11 and 12 show the drainage device in the area of one of the outer sections 35, 37 of the drainage channel 9. In this area, water can run through the drainage opening 18 into the drainage channel 9. However, the water cannot run out laterally because the side wall 9c is provided in this area.
