- a small tube designated by 41 in Figures 6 , 7 and 9 , which gives out into the collection tray previously mentioned in relation to the drain outlet 23 of the conduit 15.
- the amount of water discharged by the condenser 31 is as a rule modest and can evaporate naturally from the tray in a short period.
- the machine 1 is of course provided with a control system of its own with corresponding user interface, of a substantially known conception, which enables selection, start-up, and control of a plurality of washing programs.
- At least one of said programs is configured for carrying out a step of drying of the dishes. Consequently, after the step of discharge of the water used in the course of the last step of the program that envisages the use of water (typically the last rinsing step), the control system issues a command for start of the fan 11 and supply of the heating means 17. The air taken in via the mouth 12a of the fan 11 is then forced into the conduit 15, at the inlet of which it is heated.
- the control system includes sensor means for detecting the temperature of the air (for example, set downstream of the heating means 17) and/or for detecting the rate of humidity of the air (for example, within the condenser 31), for control of the process, according to modalities in themselves known.
- a device for heating the air based upon the use of PTC resistors, means for sensing the temperature of the air are not strictly necessary, thanks to the characteristics of self-regulation in temperature proper to this type of resistors.
- the temperature of the drying air is detected in an indirect way by the control system, exploiting the temperature sensor used for detecting the temperature of the washing or rinsing water.
- the aforesaid sensor - not illustrated in the figures - can be installed in the proximity of the chimney 21, for example facing the outlet 22b of its lid 22.
- the hot air passes into the chimney 21 and, through the lid 22, propagates into the tub 3 from beneath, impinging upon the dishes contained in the racks inside the tub (not represented). Pre-heating of the air obviously favours and speeds up the process of drying of the dishes.
- the hot air tends to rise from beneath upwards, thus favouring also off-flow of the damp air towards the upper outlet, said damp air tending in any case already in itself to move in a natural way into the upper part of the tub 3.
- the damp air then penetrates into the horizontal portion 35 of the condenser 31, and then reaches the vertical portion 34.
- the air then traverses the descending stretch 36 of the condensation path, yielding humidity and then rises along the ascending stretch 37 and comes out substantially dehumidified into the external environment, via the opening 33.
- the condensation water is collected in the receptacle 39, from which it is evacuated via the tube 41.
- the drying process can terminate after a pre-set program time, or else can take place following upon detections made by the aforesaid sensor means, according to a technique in itself known (for example, detecting a rate of humidity of the air not higher than a pre-set threshold).
- the machine 1 according to the invention can be of the stand-alone type, in which case it will be provided with a cabinet that encloses the tub, with the condenser assembly 30 that can easily be housed even in the tiny gap normally existing between the external cabinet and the side and upper walls of the tub of a dishwasher.
- the machine 1 may also be of the built-in type, and hence without a cabinet that encloses the tub completely.
- the casing 12 of the fan 11 in such a way that the intake mouth 12a faces the outside of the basement 2, and hence is in a position generally underlying the condenser assembly 30 (see by way of reference, for example, Figures 1 and 3 ).
- the fan 11 takes in air that is present in the proximity of the condenser 31 so as to tend to reduce the temperature thereof and hence favour the condensation process.
- the solution of providing at least the vertical portion 34 of the condenser 31 set at a distance from the corresponding stationary wall of the tub is in any case advantageous also in the case exemplified in the figures, with the intake mouth 12a of the fan 11 facing the inside of the basement 2, in order to contain any possible transmission of heat between said wall and the body of the condenser.
- the drying system of the machine according to the invention can comprise also a further aspirator, operatively associated to the condenser device 31 for facilitating off-flow of the damp air from the tub 3 and contributing to balancing the pressure in the tub.

Claims (14)
- Lave-vaisselle présentant un système de séchage, le lave-vaisselle (1) comprenant un socle (2) et une cuve de lavage (3) supportée par le socle (2), dans lequel le socle (2) définit un espace de logement (2a) permettant de loger des composants fonctionnels du lave-vaisselle, dans lequel la cuve (3) présentant une paroi inférieure (3a), une paroi supérieure (3b) et des parois latérales (3c-3e), et dans lequel le système de séchage comprend .- un orifice d'entrée (20-22) destiné à introduire de l'air de séchage dans la cuve (3) ;- un orifice de sortie (25) destiné à évacuer l'air humide à partir de la cuve (3) ;- un dispositif de condenseur (31), présentant un corps creux pourvu d'un orifice d'entrée respectif (32) en communication de fluide avec l'orifice de sortie destiné à l'air humide (25), et un orifice de sortie respectif (33), en communication de fluide avec l'environnement extérieur à la cuve (3), le dispositif de condenseur (31) ayant une première partie (34) qui fait globalement face à une paroi latérale (3d) de la cuve (3) et qui définit une trajectoire de condensation (36-37) destiné à l'air humide quittant la cuve (3) ;- un ventilateur (11) présentant un carter de ventilateur (12) dans lequel est logée une turbine (13) entraînée par un moteur correspondant (14), le carter de ventilateur (12) étant monté dans l'espace de logement (2a) du socle (2) et présentant une ouverture de prise d'air (12a) et une branche de distribution ; et- des moyens pour chauffer l'air de séchage (17) agencés fonctionnellement le long d'un premier conduit (15) qui raccorde la branche de distribution du carter de ventilateur (12) à l'orifice d'entrée destiné à l'air de séchage (20-22),
caractérisé en ce que :- l'orifice d'entrée destiné à l'air de séchage (20-22) présente une cheminée (21) qui s'étend à travers la paroi inférieure (3a) de la cuve (3) et présente une extrémité supérieure (21a) et une extrémité inférieure (21b), lesquelles s'ouvrent sur les côtés opposés de ladite paroi inférieure (3a), au niveau de l'extrémité supérieure (21a) se trouvant couplée à un couvercle de cheminée (22) définissant un parcours essentiellement tracé en labyrinthe et, au niveau de l'extrémité inférieure (21b), se trouvant couplée à une extrémité de sortie (16) du premier conduit (15) ;- l'orifice de sortie destiné à l'air humide (25) est défini dans la paroi supérieure (3b) de la cuve (3) ;- le dispositif de condenseur (31) comprend une seconde partie (35), laquelle fait globalement face à la paroi supérieure (3b) de la cuve (3) et s'étend entre l'orifice de sortie destiné à l'air humide (25) et une zone supérieure de la première partie (34) du dispositif de condenseur (31). - Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite paroi latérale (3d) est une paroi fixe de la cuve (3) .
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 1 ou la revendication 2, dans lequel le premier conduit (15) est globalement configuré en forme de V, c'est-à-dire qu'il comprend une extension globalement descendante (15a) allant de la branche de distribution du carter de ventilateur (12) vers une extension en coude (15c) du premier conduit (15) et une extension globalement ascendante (15b) allant de ladite extension en coude (15c) vers l'orifice d'entrée destiné à l'air de séchage (20-22).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le carter de ventilateur (12) est monté dans l'espace de logement (2a) du socle (2), au moins un axe de rotation de la turbine (13) et un axe de l'ouverture de la prise d'air (12a) étant orientés dans une direction qui est globalement horizontale ou dans un cas quelconque transversale par rapport à la hauteur du socle (2).
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 3, dans lequel le premier conduit (15) s'étend essentiellement totalement dans l'espace de logement (2a) du socle (2).
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 3 ou la revendication 5, dans lequel les moyens de chauffage de l'air (17) sont positionnés dans une embase correspondante définie essentiellement dans ladite extension descendante (15a) du premier conduit (15).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 4 à 6, dans lequel se trouve une ouverture de drainage (23) définie essentiellement au niveau de l'extension en coude (15c) du premier conduit (15).
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 7 dans lequel, à l'intérieur du premier conduit (15) se trouve un élément déflecteur (24) qui est prévu configuré de façon à empêcher un reflux important vers l'ouverture de drainage (23) de l'air forcé par le ventilateur (11) et pour acheminer en même temps dans l'ouverture de drainage (23) toute l'eau qui aurait pu possiblement atteindre l'intérieur du premier conduit (15) à travers l'orifice d'entrée destiné à l'air de séchage (20-22).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le dispositif de condenseur (31) présente un orifice de sortie destiné à de l'air déshumidifié (33) qui est situé dans ladite zone supérieure de la première partie correspondante (34), la trajectoire de condensation comportant une extension descendante (36), laquelle s'étend essentiellement depuis la seconde partie (35) jusqu'à une zone inférieure de ladite première partie (34), et une extension ascendante (37), laquelle s'étend essentiellement depuis ladite zone inférieure jusqu'à une surface de ladite zone supérieure où l'orifice de sortie (33) destiné à de l'air déshumidifié est situé.
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 9, dans lequel au niveau de l'extrémité inférieure de la première partie (34) du dispositif de condenseur (31), dans une position correspondant essentiellement à l'extrémité de l'extension descendante (36) de la trajectoire de condensation, se trouve défini un réceptacle (39) destiné à collecter l'eau de condensation, présentant un orifice de sortie de drainage respectif (40).
- Lave-vaisselle selon la revendication 9 ou la revendication 10, dans lequel au niveau de ladite extension descendante (36) de la trajectoire de condensation, le corps du dispositif de condenseur (31) est configuré essentiellement sous la forme d'un labyrinthe.
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le corps creux du dispositif de condenseur (31) présente une configuration globalement aplatie et est constitué en une seule pièce de matériau thermoplastique, en particulier une pièce moulée par soufflage.
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la première partie (34) du dispositif de condenseur (31) est, au moins en partie, placée à distance de ladite paroi latérale (3d) de la cuve (3).
- Lave-vaisselle selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes comportant, également, un ventilateur supplémentaire couplé fonctionnellement au dispositif de condenseur (31) et conçu pour faciliter l'écoulement résultant de l'air humide à partir de la cuve (3).
