Definitions

  • the invention relates to a mating box or a mortise lock according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the known lock has at least one rod connection mounted in the lock housing for connecting a rod and a switching nut coupled to the rod connection, wherein the rod connection is movable between a retracted and an extended position.
  • a locking device is provided between the rod terminal and the Wegnuss, which prevents actuation of the Wegnuss by external force on the rod connection when the rod connection is in the extended position.
  • the locking device has a movable between a lower locking position and an upper release position locking mandrel, which is movable exclusively by actuation of the shift nut from the locking position.
  • the locking pin is stored in the lock case and the lock cover in each case a slot.
  • Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a mating box or a mortise lock of the type mentioned with a locking device available, which is constructed as simple and inexpensive and a safe interruption of the power flow between the rod terminal and the Wegnuss with external force on the Rod connection guaranteed.
  • a counter box or a mortise lock according to claim 1 is provided.
  • the locking mandrel is movable by its own weight from the release position to the blocking position and the lower slot position represents the blocking position and the upper slot position, the release position.
  • the invention as an essential part of the locking device on a blocking element in the form of a locking mandrel, which is simple and inexpensive to produce.
  • This locking pin is movable between two positions, namely the lower locking position and the upper release position.
  • the locking mandrel is ultimately back and forth in the vertical direction, and this vertical mobility does not have to be limited to an exclusively vertical trajectory. Also, oblique or arcuate trajectories are possible.
  • the decisive factor is ultimately that the locking mandrel is moved from a lower level to an upper level and vice versa, wherein in the lower level is a blocking of the rod connection, while the rod connection released in the upper level and the functional chain between the rod terminal and the Wegnuss made or is no longer interrupted.
  • the shift nut can not be moved by external force acting on the rod connection.
  • the blocking position can only be canceled by the fact that the pusher is actively actuated by a pusher.
  • the locking device can only be disabled by the intentional operation of the coupled with the pusher pusher and the lock released.
  • the locking pin on the one hand in the lock case and on the other hand on the opposite side of the lock housing is stored in the castle ceiling in each case a slot.
  • such slots can be realized by simple slots on opposite sides of the lock housing.
  • the locking pin end each have a storage area to intervene in the respective slot in the lock case and the lock cover.
  • areas of the locking pin which do not serve for guiding or coupling with other components of the locking device, preferably deliberately thickened to ensure the proper weight of the locking pin and thus the automatic movement of the locking pin between the upper release position and the lower locking position.
  • the locking device can be provided to block only a single rod connection. This can be both about the upper as well as the lower bar connection act. Preferably, however, it is so that the locking device is provided and designed both for blocking the upper and the lower bar connection.
  • the locking device has an upper locking pin for blocking the upper rod connection and a lower locking pin for blocking the lower rod connection.
  • a mandrel contour is provided in the Heidelbergnuss, through which the upper locking mandrel is guided.
  • the mandrel contour in this case has a blocking region in which the upper locking mandrel is locked, and a freewheeling region in which the blocking is released and a movement of the sliding nut is made possible.
  • an Entsperrnase over which the upper locking mandrel is moved from the restricted area in the freewheel area or on active actuation of the Wegnuss.
  • the Entsperrnase ensures that when actively operating the Wegnuss the locking mandrel is lifted from the locked position and moved into the freewheeling area.
  • the locking device in addition to the upper locking mandrel, the locking device as another, separate component on a lying in the line of movement between the rod terminal and the Wegnuss locking lever, which is coupled on the one hand to the rod terminal and on the other hand with the Wegnuss.
  • This locking lever is designed such that it is locked when force is introduced via the rod connection by the upper locking mandrel, while it is only or exclusively by means of active actuation of the Wegnuss unlocked and activated.
  • the upper locking mandrel in this context - as the Wegnuss - on a mandrel contour through which the upper locking mandrel is guided.
  • the mandrel contour of the locking lever also has a blocking area and a movement of the locking lever enabling freewheeling area, while in this case - unlike the Wegnuss - missing at a Entsperrnase or otherwise unlocking. In this way, it is ultimately ensured that unlocking can not take place via the rod connection coupled to the blocking lever but exclusively via the switching nut which is actively coupled via the pusher and coupled to the blocking lever.
  • the flow of motion is interrupted when force is introduced into the rod connection on the locking lever, while the movement flow during active actuation of the Steering nut from the shift nut over the upper locking pin and the locking lever to the bar connection is continuous.
  • the coupling of the rod connection with the locking lever is preferably carried out via a rod connection.
  • a rod connection is preferably a shaped piece of wire.
  • Such a piece of wire is relatively easy and inexpensive to produce.
  • the locking lever in the lock case is linearly movable, it offers for constructive reasons to pivotally store the locking lever, since then the rotational movement of the shift can be converted directly into a rotational or pivotal movement of the locking lever.
  • the shift nut For actuating the locking lever, the shift nut has an actuating portion designed in particular as a roller bearing, which acts on an actuating surface of the locking lever.
  • the pushbutton When the pushbutton is actively actuated by means of a push-button, two processes ultimately occur.
  • the locking pin On the one hand, the locking pin is lifted out of the locking position, so that it is located in the respective mandrel contours in the freewheel areas, which allows a pivoting or rotational movement of the sliding nut and the locking lever.
  • the further operation of the shift nut is transmitted directly via the actuating portion to the actuating surface of the locking lever, which is then pivoted and leads due to its coupling with the rod terminal for retraction of the rod.
  • a locking device for blocking the upper bar connection is provided by the above features, which ultimately only requires two separate components, namely coupled to the bar connection locking lever and the upper locking mandrel, with other functional areas of the locking device by corresponding contouring on the Wegnuss and be realized in the locking lever and slots in the lock housing.
  • the lower bar connection can be blocked on the principle of the invention via the locking device.
  • the locking device on a lower locking mandrel which is movable between a lower locking position and an upper release position. The movement of the lower locking mandrel out of the blocking position also takes place exclusively here / only by actuation of the sliding nut. If the lower locking pin is thus in the lower locking position, the shift nut can not be moved by an external force acting on the lower rod connection.
  • the power flow between the lower rod terminal and the Wegnuss is interrupted or blocked by the blocking of the lower locking mandrel when the lower locking pin is in the lower blocking position.
  • the lower slots for the lower locking pin in the lock case and the castle ceiling each have a locking contour and a guide contour.
  • the slots required anyway for the storage of the lower locking mandrel with the functions of the need-based blocking in the locking contour or the leadership of the locking mandrel in the guide contour are occupied. So if the locking pin is in the locking contour, if the lower locking pin strikes against the locking contour, a further moving in of the lower rod connection in the lock housing is not possible. Only when the lower locking pin is in the guide contour, an upward and downward movement of the lower locking pin in the guide contour is possible.
  • the lower bar connection acts with external force from below on the lower locking mandrel and the lower locking mandrel strikes the locking contour or the at least substantially horizontal Sperrkantet the locking contour, so that the lower locking position is reached and the Rod connection can not be pushed into the lock housing.
  • a pull rod To connect the Wegnuss with the lower bar connection is a pull rod.
  • This pull rod may be directly or indirectly connected to the Wegnuss or the lower bar connection.
  • the pull rod In the region of its lower end, the pull rod is preferably connected to the lower bar connection, so that an opening movement of the Wegnuss ultimately leads to a tightening or pulling the lower bar connection in the lock housing.
  • the pull rod acts in addition to the lower locking mandrel together.
  • a corresponding active portion which is preferably designed as a bevel, is provided on the pull rod in order to move the lower locking mandrel out of the locking contour into the guide contour.
  • a locking device for the lower bar connection is provided by the invention further provided, which is also very simple and inexpensive, since ultimately as an additional component compared to a version without locking device only the lower Mandrel is required because the active portion or the slope can be realized on the already provided pull rod and the storage of the lower locking mandrel in the lock housing only corresponding slots must be realized with the necessary guiding and locking contour.
  • a mating box 1 is shown. It should be pointed out that the following explanations relate exclusively to a mating box 1, but apply in the same way for a mortise lock, as far as the invention or the features essential to the invention are concerned. In this respect, the following statements relate in a similar manner also for a mortise lock, even if this is not specified in detail.
  • the counter box 1 has a lock housing 2 with a lock case 3 and a lock cover 4.
  • a forend 5 is provided on the lock case 3.
  • the Fallenauswerfer 7 and the pergolalauswerfer 9 are characteristic components of a counter box 1, which are not provided in a mortise lock. Instead, the mortise lock has a latch and a latch.
  • the counter box 1 has two bar connections 10, 11, namely an upper bar connection 10 and a lower bar connection 11, which are respectively provided for connection of a corresponding bar.
  • the rods are guided through the door, not shown, and engage the end in corresponding openings of strike plates on the frame or floor. Bar connections of the type in question can also be provided in a mortise lock.
  • the mating box 1 a Wegnuss 12, which is actively actuated by pushers, not shown. By operating the Wegnuss 12 are on the one hand on the lock mechanism, the rod terminals 10, 11 from its extended position, in the Fig. 1 and 2 is shown, fed into their retracted position and on the other hand, the Fallenauswerfer 7 and the Bolt ejector 9 is activated and swung out.
  • the counter box 1 has a locking device 13, which prevents actuation of the shift nut 12 upon application of a force in the direction of arrow F to the respective extended rod connection 10, 11. This means that despite the action of the respective force F on the rod terminals 10, 11, it is not possible to push them into the lock housing 2 and thus to retract the rods connected to the rod terminals 10, 11.
  • the locking device 13 is operatively provided between the respective rod terminal 10, 11, in the present case the rod terminal 10, and the shift nut 12.
  • To the locking device 13 includes an upper locking mandrel 14, between a locking position, in the 8 and 9 is shown, and a release position, in the FIGS. 14 and 15 is shown, is movable. It is important in this context that the upper locking mandrel 14, as such in Fig. 6 is shown, only by active actuation of the shift nut 12 from the locked position is movable.
  • the active actuation of the shift nut 12 means that the shift nut 12 must be actuated via the pusher, not shown, to move the upper locking mandrel 14, while an actuation of the shift nut 12 due to the action of a force F via one of the rod terminals 10, 11 not is possible.
  • the upper locking mandrel 14 is mounted on the one hand in the lock case 3 and on the other hand in the lock cover 4.
  • a slot 15 is provided in the lock case 3, while on the opposite side of the lock housing 2 in the lock cover 4, a slot 16 is provided.
  • the elongated holes 15, 16 are aligned in the assembled state of the lock housing 2 and each have the same length.
  • the lower slot position represents the blocking position 17, while the upper slot position represents the release position 18.
  • the upper locking mandrel 14 itself is not spring-loaded and moves back from the upper release position 18 solely due to its own weight in the lower locking position 17. Nevertheless, it is understood that the upper locking mandrel 14 may be biased in principle by a spring in the direction of the blocking position 17.
  • the upper locking mandrel 14 itself has at its end a respective storage area 19, 20.
  • the storage area 19 engages in the slot 20 of the lock cover 4, while the storage area 20 engages in the slot 15 in the lock case 3.
  • a coupling region 21 for connection to components of the locking device 13 adjoins the bearing region 20, while a thickened mandrel region 22, which serves to increase the dead weight of the locking mandrel 14, is located between the coupling region 21 and the bearing region 19.
  • the upper locking mandrel 14 is coupled to the Wegnuss 12.
  • the shift nut 12 has a mandrel contour 23, which is provided with a blocking region 24 and a freewheeling region 25 and in which the upper blocking mandrel 14 with its coupling region 21 is located. Between the blocking region 24 and the freewheeling region 25 there is an unlocking nose 26, via which, when actively actuated the shift nut 12, the upper locking mandrel 14 is moved from the blocking area 24 in the freewheel area 25.
  • the locking device 13 has a coupled to the upper bar connection 10 locking lever 27, which is in Fig. 4 is shown. Effectively, the locking lever 27 is locked by the action of a force F on the rod terminal 10, via the upper locking mandrel 14. An unlocking and activation of the locking lever 27 is possible only via the shift 12, only by handle operation.
  • the locking lever 27 itself is coupled to both the shifting nut 12 and the upper rod connection 10.
  • the mandrel contour 28 has a blocking region 29 and a free-wheeling region 30.
  • a Entsperrnase is not provided in the mandrel contour 28 between the locking portion 29 and the freewheeling portion 30, so that in the attempt to actuate the locking lever 27 from other than by the shift 12 the locking lever 27 remains locked because the upper locking mandrel 14 is not out of the Locking area 29 can be moved.
  • the rod connection 31 has in the illustrated embodiment, an end angled bracket, which engages in a corresponding opening of the rod terminal 10 and an opening 32 in the locking lever 27.
  • the locking lever 27 itself is pivotally mounted on the lock case 3.
  • the relevant bearing opening 33 is in Fig. 4 illustrated and ultimately flows into the mandrel contour 28, but without this has an effect on the function of the mandrel contour 28.
  • a slot portion-shaped slot 34 is provided in the lock case 3, moreover, in which the angled end of the rod connection 31, which is guided through the bearing opening 33, engages.

  • the pull rod 50 itself is, what is not shown in detail, indirectly or directly connected to the shift nut 12.
  • the connection of the lower rod terminal 11 with the tie rod 50 is effected here by the fact that a bearing pin 51 is provided on the lower rod terminal 11, which engages in a slot 52 of the tie rod.
  • a rivet 53 connects to the captive connection of the tie rod 50 with the lower rod terminal 11 at. Due to the elongated hole 52, in which the bearing pin 51 is located, results in the vertical direction a small clearance between the lower rod terminal 11 and the tie rod 50 and a relative mobility of the two components to each other.
  • the drawbar 50 has at its lower end a plug-in section 54 which is arranged in a pocket section 55 of the lower bar connection 11.
  • a vertical guide slot 56 into which a bolt 57 which is mounted in the lock case 3 and in the lock cover 4 on opposite sides, engages.
  • the pull rod 50 has a slot 58, engages in the stop, which serves to limit the movement in the up and down movement of the pull rod.
  • a shoulder 59 which is provided for cooperation with the coupling region 43 of the locking mandrel 38, is formed on the lower rod connection 11. This will be discussed in more detail below.
  • a bevel 60 provided at the lower end of the drawbar 50 serves as the active section. The bevel 60 is designed to move the lower locking mandrel 38 out of the locking contour 46 into the guide contour 47. This will also be described in detail below.
  • FIGS. 22 and 23 is in each case the lower part of the counter box 1 with lock cover 4 ( Fig. 22 ) and without lock cover 4 ( Fig. 23 ).
  • the rod terminal 11 and thus the lower rod, not shown is extended.
  • the lower locking mandrel 38 is located in the lower part of the locking contour 46th Due to the dead weight of the lower rod, not shown, the force F acts down, while the locking mandrel 38 is due to its own weight in the lower part of the locking contour 46.
  • FIGS. 24 and 25 which from the view the FIGS. 22 and 23 correspond, an external force F is exerted from below on the lower rod, not shown, and thus on the lower rod terminal 11. Since the lower rod terminal 11 relative to the tie rod 50 in the scope of the play of the slot 52 is displaceable, the lower rod terminal 11 with respect to the in the FIGS. 22 and 23 shown situation on the tie rod 50 moves until the lower end of the insertion portion 54 comes to rest at the lower end of the pocket portion 55. At the same time, the shoulder 59 abuts on the coupling portion 43 of the lower locking mandrel 38.
  • FIGS. 26 and 27 the state in which is pressed at further force application F on the lower bar connection 11 of the locking mandrel 38 with its two bearing portions 40 against the locking edge 48 of the locking contour 46. There is thus a blockage of the lower rod end 11 via the locking device 13. A further application of force in the vertical direction does not lead to a further movement of the lower bar connection 11 in the direction of force. Further pulling in or pushing in of the lower rod connection 11 into the lock housing 2 is not possible.
  • Fig. 28 is shown a state in which the Wegnuss has been operated 12 to the opening. Due to the connection of the shift 12 with the pull rod 50 this has been pulled upwards. Since the drawbar 50 is relatively movable with respect to the lower bar connection 11, the lower bar connection 11 initially remains in its lower position. The upward movement of the pull rod 50 causes the bevel 60 acts against the coupling region 43 of the lower locking mandrel 38 and moves it out of the locking contour 46 into the guide contour 47.
  • the locking contour 46 has a slightly wider opening area than the guide contour 47. This shape of the locking contour 46 is necessary in the present case to move the locking mandrel 38 safely out of the locking contour 46 in the guide contour 47.
