Definitions
- the invention relates to a dental prosthesis with an implant body and with an insertable into a receptacle of the implant body abutment, which forms a passage opening for receiving a engaging in a female thread of the implant body cap screw and carries a tooth structure against rotation.
- an implant body When using a dental prosthesis usually an implant body is inserted into the jawbone and provided with an abutment for receiving a tooth structure, such as a dental crown.
- This abutment is connected by means of a cap screw with the implant body, which is inserted into a through hole of the abutment and engages in a female thread of the implant body.
- the screw head is supported on an annular shoulder of the abutment, wherein the requirement is that the head screw can not accidentally come loose and allows a tight connection to the abutment, so that no bacteria can reach the implant body.
- the invention is therefore the object of a dental prosthesis of the type described in such a way that a secure screw connection between the abutment and the implant body in each rotational position of the cap screw can be ensured over longer periods of time.
- the invention achieves the stated object in that the head of the cap screw is positively connected to a rotatable only together with the cap screw rotation, which is glued to the tooth structure
- the cap screw By providing a form-locking connected to the head screw head rotation lock the cap screw can only be rotated together with the anti-rotation, so given a rotationally fixed holding the anti-rotation security that the cap screw can not relax.
- the non-rotatable mounting of the rotation lock takes place in a simple manner via an adhesive connection of the rotation lock with the tooth structure, which must be kept so twist-proof on the abutment, usually via an adhesive layer. With the non-rotatable support of the anti-rotation against the tooth structure thus loosening the cap screw is effectively prevented.
- this security against rotation of the cap screw can Abutment be changed if necessary, because after removal of the tooth structure by releasing the adhesive connection and removing the anti-rotation of the head screw is freely accessible again.
- cap screws for the connection of the abutment with the implant body generally have a plug-in receptacle for an operating tool in the form of a hexagon socket of the head, particularly simple construction conditions arise when this plug-in receptacle is used for the positive connection of the screw head with the anti-rotation device, because in this case the rotation lock can be designed as a simple insert, which engages positively in the provided for an operating tool plug-in receptacle of the head of the cap screw.
- the anti-rotation device closes flush with the abutment, then advantageous adhesive conditions result, since no consideration has to be given to the gluing of the anti-rotation device with the tooth structure in the design of the tooth structure.
- the anti-rotation device forms an adhesive surface which largely closes the through-opening of the abutment, so that no bacteria can reach the implant body between the tooth structure and the anti-rotation device with an adhesive layer bridging the annular gap between the anti-rotation device and the abutment.

Description
Zahnersatz
Technisches Gebiet
